This is an excellent getaway for those who want to be totally offline for the visit. Only one person even had any cell service, so even texting our arrival was tricky at first. The house is very eclectic with mid-century modern furniture and fixtures in some areas (very cool). Other parts were not as updated. We had a great time in the game room/garage. The only concern we had was the leftover/expired food in the refrigerator, especially with COVID precautions. We cleaned it out before leaving. The house was close to the river and great scenery. The location was also close to a zip lining place, which was very fun. It was a great fall getaway with fun puzzles to challenge ourselves. Thanks for the stay. Wish we could’ve had a campfire. Maybe next time.
Stayed with 5 family members, visiting for a wedding. So glad we chose this location as it is very secluded. Being from WY, we prefer being away from everything vs crowded settings. Great fun with the family playing ping pong and NOT watching TV. Very nice house and the owner was always responsive. Definitely worth a return visit!
This was something new for my family. The location was perfect not to far nor to close to town. I was astonished with the creek and forest. Loved how they had everything in their home from laundry soap, body soap and the kitchen was so well stocked. I was a bit disappointed that they offered a phone but it didn't have services. Their is a cage next to the house for dogs it doesn't make the property look well. The towels offered smelled a bit and had some stains on quilts for second bedroom. Overall the experience was really needed and I'm very thankful for letting us stay in there home.
The property is in a quite well forested area away from the hectic day to day of it all. It was a great time to get away with the sound of nature and the wonderful fresh air.
This place was amazing and it was just what we needed to recharge after the last few months. Kids had a blast with all the games available and the creek in the back yard. If you look to unplug for a couple of days ... look no more. Thank you Steven for making this available to us.
