Tranquil Lagoon and Beach Views

Come enjoy the Spa on Port Royal Sound, a peaceful beach front escape. Relax on the beautiful landscaped grounds. Sit in the gazebo and watch the herons and turtles play in the lagoon. Stroll down the pier or sit in the swing and gaze out at the dolphins playing in the water. Sun on the beach. Wander down the shore and explore the near by parks and historical sites. At the Spa you will feel the serenity of the low country.

This fully equipped first floor villa features beautiful views from all the rooms. Look out the window and see the beach or look the other direction and see the lagoon. The master suite features a king bed and a bath and shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and adjoins the hall bathroom. A queen size sofa bed is located in the main living area.

The open living area provides dining space, ample seating and a wet bar! The porch allows views of the grounds and beach.

The kitchen is equipped for your cooking needs. If you don't feel like cooking, no problem, pick out one of the 250 restaurants on the Island.

Keeping up with friends, family and even work is easy from our villa. We provide free long-distance phone service, a broadband connection and wireless internet service.

Other on site features include: a heated indoor pool, two outdoor pools (one with water views), shuffleboard, tennis, playground, basketball courts, a small gym, hot tub and sauna. Fish Haul Creek Park is next door, a great place for walking or bird watching.

Wonderful Week

Our favorite place is Port Royal Sound. This place was nice being on the first floor and close to the ocean. Had pretty much everything we needed. Wonderful, will stay again

Another excellent visit!

We love staying here. The condo is spacious and well equipped, and the location is perfect, on the quieter north east corner of HHI, right on the water.

HH at The Spa

We were very pleased with the condo at The Spa. The description/pictures were exactly as listed. The condo was very clean, beds comfy, and a kitchen that was stocked with everything we needed to fix meals and grill out. Loved that we were steps from the beach, too! It was perfect for our family vacation, and we would gladly stay here again!

Beautiful Location

Lovely property! Enjoyed being able to walk out to the marsh/beach and find crabs, shells, and birds. It was really cool to see a bald eagle on the beach! We drove to others beaches to swim but liked this beach for the sea creatures/wildlife.

Less than we expected

The outside property was nice and we enjoyed the pool . However, the condo is outdated to include the furniture and decoration. The pictures didn’t really reveal that. In addition there is no real beach there even though it advertised beach front. I won’t say we had a bad time, just could have been better.

This condo is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The owner is great to work with. The location right beside the water is fantastic. We have stayed here before. And we have already booked our next stay here.

this condo was comfortable for four people. you could see the beach, plenty of room to sit, nice kitchen table, lots of towels and linen for the beds. wish it was warmer while we were there, but it was a quick walk to the beach, even if we had to bundle up.

Quiet bit of paradise!

The Spa was a relaxing and beautiful vacation spot for a week!! The condo's versatility was amazing with a pull out table, flexible seating, and flexible sleeping arrangements that worked out perfectly for our stay (My son and I brought my mother, so I slept on the pull out couch so each of us had our "own room"). My 14 year old son enjoyed his stay so much that he didn't want to leave! The proximity of the pool, beach, and everything else on Hilton Head island was perfect! Thanks Carrie for a wonderful start to our summer!

Room not ready on time

After driving 4 hours to this location, we were ready to Settle into our room but our room wasn't ready until and hour and a half later. As a paying customer, I expected everything to be prepared and ready for me. Besides this situation, I enjoyed the beach that I had in my "backyard".

Great location but needs a deep cleaning.

The rental is well located close to the beach with a nice partial view. Bed was rather of soft with fresh bedding. Fresh towels were nice. Kitchen is bare bones. Coffeemaker should be replaced. Unfortunately, we noticed some kind bugs hopping around here and there throughout or staythat my husband and I could not identify. Just before leaving I caught one and I do believe that they're fleas. I contacted the owner who seemed to think I was trying to blackmail her for a better review. Being a business owner of a plumbing company with 15 employees I'm well aware of review blackmail and it's not part of my ethics. We stayed there from the 21st to the 28th of November 2021. I strongly suggest that if you are renting this unit in the future make sure the the owner has provided a deep cleaning before you stay.

Cockroach Problems and Uncooperative Owner

We stayed at the unit for three nights of our four night stay due to a cockroach problem. Upon check in, we found a dead palmetto bug in one of the bedrooms. Being aware that they are common in the south, we didn't think anything of it. The first two nights we didn't have any issues. The third night we walked on the beach after dark. We came in around 9:30-10:00. I decided to take a shower. I opened the shower curtain, and there was a cockroach (one of the small ones) in the shower. I killed it. After taking a shower, I moved the bathmat and another one ran out from under it. Being that it was late, we decided to close the bathroom door and just deal with it for the night. Around 4:00 a.m., we woke up to a cockroach in the bed. We hopped out of bed and immediately booked a hotel for the next night. While packing our stuff, we found yet another. We decided to take a video and some pictures of it just in case. We left at around 8:00 a.m. and called VRBO. We let VRBO know that we would not be staying the last night because of the roach problem and we'd like the last night to be refunded. VRBO said we'd have to speak to the owner. They got the owner on the phone. The owner didn't seem to want to believe us that there was a roach problem. She kept saying that she had never had any issues or complaints before. I told her that I would send her the photo and video of the roach. After seeing the video, she still didn't seem to want to believe us. She offered to call the HOA to see when the property was sprayed last. I told her it didn't matter since there was a current issue. I asked that she refund the money for the last night. She told me that she doesn't do refund after 60 days before the stay. I reiterated that there was an issue with her unit and we would not be staying. She eventually offered to refund half of the last night. I told her that half was not sufficient since we wouldn't be staying half of the night. She wouldn't refund the night, so we will be disputing it will our credit card company. Stay away from this unit.

Many issues/location good

1. The business day after my check was cashed for the rental, I was informed by the owner the pool and hot tub were unavailable. These facilities was the primary reason we rented this listing. Our plans was to bicycle as much as possible and then use hot tub/pool. Her contract made it very clear there were no refunds for any reason. I asked the property office how long the pool/hot tub had been unavailable. They told me at least two months and all the owners were aware. 2. The king bed was not a bed. It had two twin box springs, some foam rubber stuffed in the middle and a five inch topper on top. It kept sliding off constantly making it necessary to adjust it several times a day. 3. The lamps on either side of the bed were very small and the extension cord kept them so tight I was unable to reach the on/off switch that was behind the bed. They were at the very edge of the bedside table and could not be moved. Without ceiling lighting, the room was dim at best. 4. The toilets in both bathrooms were very small. The top of the seat was barely past my mid-calf. A tall person or a person with knee problems would be very uncomfortable using it. Also, you had to be positioned just so to get all your stuff on it. 5. The vertical blinds were falling off to the point where you could see in the unit. They were simply dry rotted/old. We piled them up to the side. 6. The coffee pot hot plate was rusted. 7. The overhead fan had hanging dirt on it. 8. We did not find the good cooking utensils until the morning we were leaving. They were in some vertical sliding drawer with a weird drawer inside. The stuff available to us was a melted hamburger flipper and a few other 80’s utensils and no working knife. 9. The rental property guards etc. were unaware we were coming. We arrived at 8pm and the owner did not respond to my calls and never contacted me the entire week about getting in. The only reason we were allowed in was that I had the VRBO contract on my phone. 10. On Friday, the property guard threatened to call the police several times on my husband while he was walking nearby outside. He wasn’t doing anything. When I talked to the property management, they said we were suppose to wear a little yellow tag and that all owners knew that. We were supplied one tag and told it was good for the whole family. Since we thought it was for the pool, none of us had it. Unless the owner makes improvements to the property DO NOT RENT/GO ELSEWHERE

Location, location, location

The location is absolutely lovely. If you prefer your beaches to be pristine and feel remote you'll love this spot. 10 mins drive from the restaurants and shops of Shelter Cove. Immediate access to beautiful parks, beaches and bike paths.

A much needed Rest

The unit was exactly like the pictures. The kitchen is well stocked, and I was pleasantly suprised it had a Keurig machine. Condo was clean, and just a few steps to the beach. I would stay again in the future. Planning my next getaway at the Spa. I have stayed in Palmetto Dunes, Shelter Cove and 4x at HHI Beach and Tennis, this is by far the best place to unwind.

Fantastic!

Really enjoyed our two day respite at the Spa. It's far enough away from the main drag of Hilton Head, that you get a real sense of calm. The condo was nice and well appointed. Bonus for me was the cat sanctuary!

Great place for adult family vacation!

Best location in the complex and close proximity to all the amenities! Condo owner is easy to communicate with and very helpful. Second year that I’ve stayed in this condo and highly recommend it. Anything that we needed was available, from pool noodles to a pizza cutter. We felt as comfortable there as we do at home! I’m already looking forward to next year’s vacation in this condo!!

Relaxing and quiet getaway

I was traveling with my mom and my best friend. We absolutely loved our stay at the spa. Our condo exceeded our expectations! So clean and well furnished. We felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The beach was exactly as described. Not great for swimming but we so enjoyed seeing all the wildlife and the gorgeous sunrise and sunsets on the sound! There were so many great places to sit and enjoy the views. Also the pool is so close and easy to access with its own outdoor shower and restrooms. We visited Folly Field beach which was only a 10 minute drive away and spent the day. This was a recommended beach to visit by the owner and it was perfect! So easy to access! Everything we needed to know about the area and where we were staying was sent via email from our host and it was so helpful. We didn’t even need to contact her because everything was so well explained! We all would highly recommend this area and the spa and will definitely be back!

Great condominium community

The property is located in a wonderful condominium community with well maintained pools and outdoor activity areas. The beach that is located on is very shallow with extreme high and low tides. It's also located on the sound side, so no big ocean waves. The condo was clean with available cleaning supplies for the duration of our stay. I had difficulty with the lock getting in, but my husband had no problem and the owner was very attentive to my needs and questions any time I asked. Although the condo was a little dated, it was clean and functional and we enjoyed our stay.
