Second Time Around

This is our second time to stay in this house. It's in a perfect location with an access road nearby to quickly get to the beach. It has all the amenities that we look for in a beach house. Love having a lift and the reassurance of the whole house generator.

Crystal Beach July 2024

Everything was very clean and well stocked. The two minute walk to the to the beach made it very convenient to tote chairs, toys and shades. Our reservations were the week after Hurricane Beryl but communications with Carynn were very easy and helpful. We will absolutely book again!

perfect for a family/friends getaway with small children

This house is perfect for a family getaway! The deck was a favorite for all of us, having the gate at the top of the stairs so the kids wouldn't go down and the lift to move our things up and down were so helpful. The kitchen has everything you would need and is gorgeous, the beds and couches are super comfy. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect beach getaway!

This house was everything we could have asked for and more. It’s a beautiful property with great views and a perfect location to everything you need on Bolivar. Carinn was very easy to communicate with when needed. The group has decided we would love to come back to this house for an annual trip!

Wonderful Week / Beautiful Home

It appears this house has had some recent updates which make you feel like you are stepping into a new home. Very nice accommodations and it was awesome to have the lift to assist with groceries and luggage. We've stayed in several places at Crystal Beach and this is by far one of the best one's yet. Looking forward to our return next year!

Sand Dollar is Fabulous

Takes just minutes to walk to beautiful Crystal Beach from this lovely home!

The house was very comfortable and well stocked with needed supplies. It's a beautiful, modern home, and a very short distance to the beach. We especially liked the luggage lift that made it easy to get our heavy suitcases up to the house. Our two adult sons (in their twenty's) stayed in the upstairs "man cave" and were happy to have privacy, plenty of room and comfortable beds. I'm sure there would be plenty of room for several younger kids up there. We had a fabulous family vacation and the lovely home where we stayed was a big part of the good time!

The Sand Dollar was worth every penny and more!

This has been my favorite house in all of the years renting on Bolivar Peninsula! It felt like home in so many ways! There was sooo much room for everyone to have their own space but still get to enjoy each other’s company! From all of the cutest decorations to no white “hotel” towels and sofas on the balcony! Very comfortable home and we all enjoyed our stay. The process was painless from booking, to paying, to receiving our house information in a timely manner. If I had to have 1 complaint, it would be that it isn’t ON the beach. The walk wasn’t bad at all and I still rate it a 5 star!

Great location for price!

The location was just a short walk to the beach and had a lovely view! The house had pretty much everything you could need from kitchen appliances down to shampoo and conditioner that most people don’t provide. The cargo lift was broken so that was a huge bummer. Also there is not 3 bedrooms. There are 2 and one “room” is just the upstairs open loft that is also open to the kids area which was not ideal for an infant to sleep as we planned. There were other maintenance things needed such as mold on the kitchen ceiling and the deck outside gave a few people splinters. The property manager and owner are both quick to respond and easy to work with. Our family still had a great vacation overall!!

Everything went well! There were 1 problem - the gas grill hose was broken and we could not grill, that was it. Everything was great. Love the lotchen with living room where we all can see each other. The patio was a big plus cuz of the size and also outdoor couches that was comfty to sit on

Awesome experience

Our stay was great. The house is very well maintained, clean, comfy, has all the comforts.of home and is literally just a few minutes walk to the beach. Very nice large deck to enjoy the evening ocean breeze. The outdoor shower was very refreshing after a long day on the beach, plus kept the sand from getting in the house. Nice corner lot gives you a very nice view of the Gulf and surrounding neighbors. The house is located in a nice quiet subdivision. The lift to assist with luggage and groceries was truly a treat to use.. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together there and will be back.
