This is by far the best value in the area. My husband and I visited Sept, 2024. We never drove our vehicle in town, because everything was in walking distance. Very hilly terrain, so it was great exercise. Fred is an exceptional host. He told us that the internet was a hit or miss up there, so for most of the weekend we had a tech purge, that was my favorite part, practically no phone calls or text messages. We are definitely planning on making this one our frequent stays. The only recommendation I have is to bring your own food, because most of the town shuts down by 7pm..
Coming from Phx. HOT Arizona, this truly is a Summerhaven.
The property is a beautiful little home overlooking Summerhaven. All the amenities on hand. Just fantastic. The hosts are the most amazing people do business with.
Wanted a quick getaway for the weekend and found it at Pat and Freds Tiny House. Perfectly positioned above Summer Haven and walking distance to everything. Super easy to find and in a great location. There is lots of storage under the bed for our stuff and the patio that faces the town gives a feeling of extra space. We highly recommend the place and the communication with our Host was excellent. This is not the Ritz but it is a real treat that I would highly recommend
Staying here was amazing, the night sky and stars to look at from the deck. Weather was fantastic a little chilly in the shade but wonderful in the sun. Walked to the Sawmill restaurant, Cookie cabin, gift shops in Summerhaven from the tiny house. It was great not having to drive to the destinations.
We enjoyed the Space inside and out and the experience the home offers. The hosts were very gracious and welcoming. We will consider returning if we are able. Thank you 😊🙏
The day of my stay I had to contact the owner via VRBO to get the check-in instructions. They said that they called and left VMM that I never received. They have a 3-page list of things you can and cannot do at their tiny home. Getting into the house was a pain (lockbox) then the front door would not lock from inside.
Inside it is very sparse. There are no places to hang up anything. There is no mat at the front door to wipe your wet/muddy feet, so you track it into the house... The bath towels were so old they could have been used as a luffa due to their stiffness and scratchiness... The bedding had black stuff in between the sheets.
After spending the nite on a very hard bed where I did not sleep well at all (nightmares), I decided to leave a day early. Despite the hefty cleaning fee, they require you wash your own dishes and put them away too!
For the money I will rent a hotel if I ever go there again. The whole process was not worth the money nor the hassle trying to get in and out of the place.
Had a lovely stay in the tiny home of Fred and Pat. Fred was very kind and gave any and all info you could possibly need about the home and surrounding area. There was a lovely view on the deck and it was decently private. I would recommend them and their tiny home any time!

Perfect for 2 people or even a solo trip. Loved the location and how quiet it was. Perfect place to star gaze at night. Town is less then a 5 minute walk and there beautiful hiking trails close by. Will most definitely be going back.
This is a secluded location that offers a lot of privacy. It is a tiny home so be prepared for some limitations but, it had everything we needed. It is in walking distance to the Main Street. We would go back again.
Property was nice. However, getting into bed is a bit of a problem without a stepstool. Mattress (top) height for my wife was at waist level, hip level for me. Communication with the owner was tenuous at best. Views from the deck are fantastic, sky, cobalt blue, temps, great. JB

This was the perfect property for me and my husband. The hosts were extremely nice. We will stay here again. Very clean. Not in the middle of a bunch of other cabins so there was just enough privacy. This was our anniversary and the only thing that would have made it better was if we could stay where we were married but that cabin burned down during the aspen fire. I highly recommend this property! Thankyou Fred and Patricia!

This tiny home was perfect for my weekend getaway! Super cozy, super close to everything in summerhaven, it's got everything you need to relax on the mountain.
Quaint, cozy little home nestled in the ridge overlooking Summerhaven's main drag. Not much storage space inside, so don't bring the whole kit and caboodle! Centrally located, you are minutes away from the restaurants, visitor's center, and general store by foot, and only a 5 minute drive down the road to the Ski Valley. Word to the wise -- the mountain shops and restaurants closed around 5:00 pm during our stay... Make sure you have what you need before you head up the mountain on day 1 of your trip (or plan to get up there before places close).
We will be back!!
