Casa Michale is a bungalow located on a tropical hillside, 100 meters above sea level, affording stunning ocean and bay views.
There are about 25 stairs down to the house from the street. The kitchen is equipped so you can cook if you are in the mood or there are many good restaurants close by. Inside the house is a king size bed, lockable walk in closet, desk (WiFi speed is 155) and sitting which are air-conditioned and have sliding glass windows and screens.
Adjoining the bedroom is the WC and bathroom. The bathroom has a shower and closed WC. On the patio is a fully equipped kitchen, out door sitting and a day bed at pool-side where you can nap or read or sleep. The dipping pool and sun deck are private. Hotel Amuleto is just a few hundred meters down the street with excellent food and Suspiro just within walking. If you need laundry done or a meal cooked for you, you can arrange this with Bibi who will also greet you and get you settled. Rufina will organize a taxi to bring you from the airport. If you are driving, there is secure street parking at our entrance. All you need is to relax and enjoy.
There is an air conditioned workspace desk and lockable space for your valuables. The house is quiet and secluded, and is ideal for the perfect getaway.
Bibi will arrange a taxi for you at the airport with a market stop if you like and Bibi will greet you at the house and get you settled in.
Playa la Ropa is a pleasant 20 minute walk or a $4.US taxi. If you walk down to the beach there is a taxi stand at the South end of Playa la Ropa so you don't have to walk back home.
The kitchen is equipped if you want to do some cooking or you can arrange for Bibi to do a meal for you. She is also available to do any laundry. If you have rented a car there is safe street parking and if not, easy taxis are available. There are 2 very good restaurants within walking distance, Amuleto, one of the best in town, and Suspiro, and a number of restaurants on Playa la Ropa as well as in town. We will have a list in the house of taxi numbers and restaurant suggestions.
In town you have a wealth of shops and markets to explore. Every morning the local fishermen bring their catch onto the beach downtown where there is also a great breakfast spot. So between the beaches, La Ropa, La Madera and Las Gatas, the markets and shops you will have a lot to keep you busy if you can get out of the pool.
