This is a great place. The location is great, right in the midle of the forest, the views are great and access to the trails are very close. The cabine/house is excellent. The spaces are very well design to feel comfortable. It seems to be a brand new construction. The house not only has everything a house needs, but everything seems to be of a very good quality. Whoever was in charge of furnishing and decorating it did not spear any expenses, she/he got high end quality and had great tast. As for entertainment, the cabine has more than planty for several days, we were there 4 days, and we never run out of something to do inside. They have several options, and once again, everything of great quality. Finally, the place was spotless, every singe area and stuff was very clean.I highly recomend it.
We spent a weekend at Chieftain Meadows with a family of 10 - young kids, teenagers, adults and dogs. We had a great time! The cabin was very well stocked, and everyone remarked how it felt like the hosts had thought of everything we might need. We baked Christmas cookies and found cookie sheets, a mixer., etc. which was really helpful. The hot tub was great, especially during December! Communication with the host was excellent. Our dogs loved the large property and trails to walk on. We would love to come back and spend another weekend here. This cabin really has it all.
We really enjoyed our time at Chieftain Meadows. The star gazing was fantastic and we loved how close it was to some fantastic hikes. We usually visit the Smokies each year for hiking/fall colors and were blown away by how great the trails were at the state park and preserves. The house was in great shape, comfortable, and easy to settle in for quality family time. The property manager was friendly and responsive. Highly recommended.
Although the weather did not cooperate, my family and i had a wonderful time. Property was as advertised and i would highly recommend to all that are looking for a spacious, beautiful propert to enjoy a little getaway!
We were meant to spend the week with our extended family here, but unfortunately, my son ended up in the ER/hospital for the majority of our stay. We were fortunate to be able to take him to a very good Children's Hospital in Columbus, and my parents and sister's family enjoyed hiking the Hocking Hills area. The one night we were able to all be together was wonderful and we were glad to be in a place that accommodated all of us, was clean, well stocked with the essentials, and just a beautiful space. We hope to come back again and be able to enjoy much more time together on our next trip.
Family mini vacation. Property surpassed our expectations. Super clean, well maintained. Great attention to details. Lots of space for 11 people. LOved the porches that let us all gather outside when we wanted. So quiet and peaceful. Wonderful communication witht he owner/host. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a a large group.
Everything about our stay was wonderful! Our host was very responsive and helpful and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend!
Headline: Perfect escape in a cozy cabin
Body: Our stay at Chieftan Meadows was absolutely phenomenal! The cabin itself was charming and impeccably clean, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. But the true highlight was breathtaking view and the peaceful atmosphere. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a perfect escape.
The owners of the property were amazing and communicated very well. The house was also very clean. The location was very secluded and private which we liked so much. It was also not very far from many of the great hiking trails that are offered in Hocking Hills. We would stay here again for sure.
The property was beautiful and so clean! We all commented on how clean everything was and how comfortable we all felt. Communication with Tanya was quick and she was very helpful! We loved our stay and look forward to coming back.
Overall a great stay. The home is very clean and very well stocked. The beds have a lot to be desired, but that wasn't a deal breaker by any means. We had an issue when we first got there, but it was handled promptly by the owner. We would defintely stay here again and can't wait to come back!
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin! The living room space is ample, providing a great environment for everyone to enjoy together. The beds were comfortable, and the entire house was impeccably clean. We appreciated the fact that we were not expected to do a ton of cleaning before checking out as guests.

We now continue on with the legacy and want to share the beauty of High Meadows Lodge and property with you. The scenery is amazing and includes an abundance of wildlife including, deer, turkey and native birds.
