The Lodge is a MUST for visitng Frankston and the area. Everythng was perfect. Clean, roomy, great location, easy check-in, amazing place! Hope I can stay there each time I return to Frankston.
Very comfortable quaint house. Had everything and more that we needed. Walking distance to eateries, boutiques and more. Parking was great for our trucks and trailers. River Run Atv Park is just a hop, skip and a jump from here.
Had a great time. Perfect setting being on the square, walking to nearby restaurants and park. Quieter than we expected, beds were comfortable. Saw some reviews talking about barn doors didn't block sound, but with being solid core noise level was fine. Stayed at New Year's, park was decorated cute and able to watch fireworks from porch which was really nice. Really enjoyed our stay.
Very nice place. Perfect for our visit with family who live within 15 minutes of downtown Frankston.
The beds and sheets are fabulously comfortable. They even provide full size shampoo and conditioner in the shower.
Extremely clean as well :)
Pros: it’s clean, it’s fully equipped, it’s furnished nicely, love the location
Cons: we were given the wrong access code and spent @30 min trying to work the lockbox, there’s a nice dining room but it was locked and inaccessible, the floors are a little noisy, the bathroom is a little on the small side for 3 bedrooms, but most importantly the AC resets itself to 86 after a few hours. No matter what temperature you chose, you’ll have to get up during the night and set it to that temp again because in the meantime it’s back to 86 and you’re sweating.
In an attempt to get some "out of the house" time with some friends during the pandemic, we chose this little storefront VRBO rental and had a blast! The accommodations were delightful. The beds were comfortable. And we all had space to spread out and have our own little spots to sit and knit and work on our craft projects. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone needing a nice little getaway!
Great little restaurants within a block or two and a lovely park across the street.
We loved the location of this house and was close by the family we were in town to see for a wedding. Kitchen and living room both had a great area to work and hang out in. The beds were comfortable. The playground was great for our daughter which was right across the street! There was also walkable restaurants which was really convenient. Beautiful and private outdoor little nook.
My ONLY complaint is the sliding barn doors to the bedrooms bc they did not fit properly leaving a 2" wide gap on either side. Made it a little awkward when needing privacy from other guests and also carried the sound. I would still stay here again as this is not a huge deal but something worth noting.
Stayed here for a short Christmas getaway and to be close to the Polar Express train ride. Very cool location with easy access to great food, shopping (antiques), and nature.
The house was very comfortable, cozy, and fun to stay in. If I had to add a criticism, the bed frame in one of the queen rooms was a little shaky and unsettled. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
We enjoyed our time in Frankston. It is conveniently located near several wineries and some nearby shopping. Your place is delightfully accommodating. We sat out on the patio the first night and sipped wine. We couldn't get all of the outdoor lights to work, but nice all the same.
Property was very clean, included everything you need for your stay. Outside patio was a great bonus to relax and chill outside. Central in town, close enough to big cities to drive for activities but far enough to be away from the chaos. Quiet and polite neighborhood. Owners were easy to communicate with and fast to respond. Only downside we found was the beds were pretty uncomfortable.
very happy with the property. the property manager even let us check in a couple of hours early because we arrived sooner then we had planned. loved the patio and grill outside it not real big but big enough for my group of 5. the kitchen was stocked with several spices and condiments. its next door to a pizza place and right across the street from the park great if you have small kids. very quite neighbor hood. will stay here again. 5 stars on everything.
We have family in the small town of Frankston and were so pleased to find a small apartment right on the town square. We walked around the park daily and it was only 2 miles from our family. Many friends were pleased to know they had a Vrbo in their midst.
