Character cottage restored in 2015. Very comfortable and welcoming. The cottage interior has a casual ambiance. The double bed room, and the loft keep all the characteristics of the old country house. Sleeps for 2/4. Just 1 mile from Zavial Beach.

Very nice Stay in a Cozy apartment

The apartment had everything that was needed to stay there. The pictures were pretty accurate the only thing is that it seemed a little larger than in the pictures but it was still big enough ! Very nice is also the outdoor patio where you can sit and grill in the evenings ! The place has even a umberwlla for the beach so you don’t need to take one or buy one ! There are also stairs in the apartment which I thought was not really clear from the apartment informations and the pictures. The stairs lead to the upper room which is not that tall but has two separate beds. It’s food for older kids. We were there with our two year old and we’re a little scared when he tried to walk the stairs alone. But all summarized it is a very sweet apartment and I would stay there again. Very clean and renovated!

Das Meer als Nachbar

Wir haben uns mit dem Vermieter(Ricardo) vorher telefonisch verabredet. Das hat wunderbar geklappt, er erwartete uns schon in Hausnähe und zeigte uns die letzten Meter bis zur Casa. Ricardo machte sofort einen sehr sympathischen Eindruck auf uns, was sich im Laufe unseres Aufenthaltes immer wieder bestätigte. Er zeigte uns alles Notwendige im Haus, erklärte uns die Wege zum Supermarkt und zu den Stränden. Später am Abend folgte noch eine WhatsApp mit den Lokalitäten, die er uns empfehlen könne. Das Haus ist so eingerichtet, das man gut über die Runden kommt. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Internetzugang, der sehr gut funktioniert, man konnte sogar Fernseh auf dem Laptop gucken. Auf dem Sattelitenreceiver sind nur portugiesischen Sender gespeichert. Die Betten sind in einem guten Zustand. Toaster, Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank und Gasherd sind funktionsfähig, so dass es kein Problem sein sollte, sich ein gutes Frühstück und Abendbrot zuzubereiten. Die Toilette und Dusche waren sauber, etwas eng, aber das baulich nicht anders zu lösen. Das Parken direkt am Haus ist nicht möglich, es stehen aber genügend Parkmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Verfügung. Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal für Ausflüge zu den diversen Stränden und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es gibt ein Restaurant im Ort(2min vom Haus), das haben wir aber nicht besucht. Sehr gute Restaurant gibt es in Budens, am Strand von Zavial und in Vila do Bispo. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt.

Kleine Wohnung in ruhiger Lage

Die Ferienwohnung ist klein und gemütlich. Allerdings ist im Schlafzimmer, in der Küche und im Bad kein Fenster. Das Bad ist sehr klein und ebenso, wie die Küche alles etwas veraltet, aber sauber. Alles in allem hatten wir eine schöne Woche, aber die Fotos online täuschen ein wenig über die Größe und Ausstattung der Wohnung hinweg, was schade ist. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns viele tolle Tipps für die Region gegeben!

Mała urocza wioseczka. Ciche, spokojne miejsce.Domek mały, jest tu wszystko potrzebne do zamieszkania. Czysto, łóżka wygodne. Dobry kontakt z gospodarzem domu. W pobliżu piękna plaża Zavial. Z innych ciekawych plaż, położonych w promieniu kilku kilometrów to plaża Furnas z małymi jaskiniami oraz plaża Tonel, gdzie najchętniej spędzaliśmy czas ze względu na duże fale.W pobliżu domku doskonałe jedzenie w jedynym w wiosce fantastycznym barze Favo. Klimatyczne miejsce ze wspaniałą obsługą. W ciagu kikudniowego pobytu trafiliśmy na lekcje tango, wieczór z muzyką na żywo, zabawę w rytmie salsy. Polecam.

Nettes altes Häuschen Natur u. Brandung NEU Vila do Bispo e Raposeira

Es ist ein kleines, bescheidenes altes Häuschen in einem ruhigen Ort. Von hier aus kann man sehr gut Ausflüge in alle Richtungen unternehmen oder die beiden Stränden in der Nähe besuchen. Die Wohnung wurde so gut fotografiert, dass wir die Enge in der Wohnung (und speziel im Badezimmer) sowie kein Tageslicht im grossen Schlafzimmer erst vor Ort bemerken konnten. Der Kochherd/Backofen war leider in einem sehr unappetitlichen Zustand, nicht schmutzig nur optisch. Was jedoch unbedingt auszutauschen ist, ist das Sofa. Dieses ist komplett durchgesessen, so dass wir nach 4 Tagen zum relaxen nirgens mehr sitzen konnten und Rückenschmerzen hatten. Wir waren 14 Tage dort. Man hat keinen eigenen Parkplatz und die Dorfparkplätze sind beschränkt und ab 18.00 Uhr bereits belegt. Wir konnten dafür jeden Morgen vor dem Haus frühstücken und haben etliche Male den Grill beim Sitzplatz benutzt und genossen. Das Meer konnte man immer rauschen hören und am Horizont erkennen. Wir waren über Weihnachten/Neujahr dort und kamen in den Genuss des Neujahrssingen der Dorfgemeinschaft. War wirklich toll. Wir würden es wiederbuchen sofern das mit dem Sofa und dem Kochherd behoben wird. Das Häuschen/Wohnung ist mit Liebe und gemütlichen Details eingerichtet.

Alla scoperta dell’Algarve

Abbiamo soggiornato nel tranquillo villaggio rurale di Hortas do Tabual per una settimana in compagnia di un’altra coppia di amici. L’appartamento è piccolo, ma fresco, pulito e dotato di tutti gli accessori necessari per una permanenza confortevole. Ricardo ci ha accolto venendoci incontro con l’orario di check-in e check-out, fornendoci tanti consigli utili per esplorare i dintorni.

Waar voor uw geld

Prima gelegen om zowel de zuidelijke als de oostelijke kust te verkennen. Heel rustig dorpje, maar niet ver van Sagres en Lagos. Compact huisje, maar met voldoende comfort.

Nettes Häuschen in wunderschöner Umgebung

Sehr netter Vermieter, machte uns ganz unproblematisch eine kurzfristige Buchungsänderung wegen der Corona Situation möglich. Unproblematisch Checkin und checkout. Wifi tadellos für 7h am Tag. Einrichtung in gutem Zustand, Gartenmöbel etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Matratze war sehr weich, daher nicht unser Fall.

lovely place, we enjoyed our stay!

We stayed for three weeks and we liked the house a lot! It was very pretty, clean, if we had any wish or concern we were able to contact Riccardo who was very friendly. We came there with our little family and it was enough space. We will be back! :)

Gemütliches kleines Apartment mit Außenbereich

Das Apartment ist mit allem notwendigem ausgestattet. Es ist schön ruhig und ländlich gelegen. Die Terrasse mit Grill, Tisch, Stühlen und Liegestühlen lädt zu gemütlichen Stunden draußen ein.

Una maravilla. El dueño de la casa, el señor Ricardo, es una persona encantadora. Nos recibió a mí y a mi familia de la forma más amable, con un detalle de bienvenida y haciéndonos sentir como en casa. Nos dio recomendaciones de sitios que visitar y actividades que realizar. Lástima que en 4 días no haya dado tiempo a casi nada! En cuanto a la casa, es pequeña pero encantadora, tiene todo lo necesario para estar a gusto. Y muy limpia. La única pega que le pondría, y porque no me quedó claro en el anuncio, es que la habitación doble está en un altillo al que se accede por unas escaleras un tanto empinadas... Como mis niños son aún pequeños, me preocupaba que pudieran despertarse por la noche y caerse por la escalera buscándonos. Pero, demostrando de nuevo lo atento que es, Ricardo nos dio la solución: nos consiguió en el acto una barrera para la escalera. Muchas gracias señor Ricardo! Qué rabia nos da no haber conseguido un bolígrafo a tiempo para dedicarte unas palabras de cariño en el libro de visitas! En fin, aunque el clima no nos haya acompañado demasiado, nos vamos de Hortas do Tabual en esta nuestra primera visita al Algarve (esperamos que la primera de muchas) con la sensación de haber disfrutado de estas cortas pero intensas vacaciones en un sitio incomparable... y de haber conocido a una persona buena.

Local perfeito para quem procura o silêncio e a proximidade do mar. Longe das zonas mais movimentadas e a poucos quilómetros de praias lindíssimas. O Ricardo foi muito simpático e disponível.

Casa campestre e confortável

A vila é muito simpática, calma e com sons da natureza. Muito perto da bonita praia do Zavial! Está bem decorada e as camas são confortáveis. A internet funciona bem, sempre que necessário. Os proprietários são amáveis e disponíveis.

Casita con encanto

Todo perfecto. Un lugar con mucho encanto y muy tranquilo. La casita pequeña pero con todo lo necesario para pasar una buena estancia. Y Ricardo muy atento y agradable, nos recibió con un detalle de bienvenida y nos informó de todo lo que visitar por la zona. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Cute and small Cottage

Hortes de Tabual is a very small, but friendly village near two good beaches, one a popular surfing spot, the other a nice sunning swimming beach. The restaurant at Ingrina (the non-surf beach) was decent. The cottage itself was charming and functional, but head space in the second bedroom was quite challenging. The bathroom was small and a little funky, but we managed as best as two couples in their 60s might. Ricardo was very helpful and responsive and made sure we knew where services and attractions were located. It is near Sagres and Lagos for days exploring. You absolutely need a vehicle.
