The property was exactly as described/ pictured. We felt safe and the neighborhood was cute. We had an excellent stay and thought it was a good value. 5 stars, would recommend to other travelers.
This house was easy to find and conveniently located in the city. My husband and I watched movies and ordered take out on a lazy night. I would stay here again, definitely.
This cute home is obviously loved by its owners who we were told owned it as their first home. Great location and very quiet. The only negatives are it could use a king size bed and the bathtub while quaint has bad water staining which makes it aesthetically unattractive. The only other issue was the site says parking but it is street parking. We didn’t have any problem but could be clearer. We would stay there again.
We absolutely loved this property. Its 2 blocks from downtown. Safe neighborhood. House was decorated beautifully. Great linens and supplies for kitchen. They provided more supplies than any previous VRBO's. Swing on front porch was awesome touch for the perfect weather we had. I wish now we would have stayed longer. Host was prompt for check-in and check out, we had no issues during our stay. I would highly recommend and we would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay. Location makes it so easy to get in and out for those in a hurry. Very comfortable and outstanding communications from the owners. Would like to stay here again and explore the downtown/capitol area.
We wanted something close to our destination and with character. The house was exactly what we wanted. It was perfect for our little family. SUPER CLEAN and an easy check in and out process. Would for sure recommend staying here.
The vintage home was beautiful! Wonderful old features with high ceilings and a clawfoot tube mixed with modern amenities. Just a short walk along a well lit and landscaped green space to down town Baton Rouge. The home has a covered outdoor area in the rear and a swing on the front porch. Full kitchen supplies, a drip coffee pot, washer/dryer and blow dryer were noted. We came to town for a wedding at Raffino's on the River and would definitely stay again.
This home felt like home away from home and was located in a wonderful historical area just blocks away from the old Governors mansion and eateries. I loved the front porch and back deck, the updated features of the home while still maintaining the historic feels. The home is well supplied with everything I needed and parking wasn't an issue at all. Will absolutely stay here again when in Baton Rouge!
Located in a beautiful area in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge. Just as pretty in person as the pictures and an overall comfortable place to stay for the weekend!
My family and I had a great one night stay. It's a great location, quiet neighborhood near many restaurants and things to do in downtown Baton Rouge. It was a very spacious and clean property. We would stay again if we go back to Baton Rouge.
The house was lovely and comfortable. Everywhere there were thoughtful little things that made a big difference. In the front hall there were hooks to hang jackets and things. In the kitchen there were basic condiments, spices and teas. They provided cotton balls, cotton swabs and fluffy towels in the bathroom. We only stayed one night but if we come back to Baton Rouge we will stay here.
Old south style with updated amenities. Beautifully and simply decorated. Quiet, very walkable neighborhood. Friendly neighbors. Definitely want to return.
We traveled down from NC for the Tennessee vs LSU football game and we had such a great time! The house was a perfect size for 4 people and we loved the charm of the shotgun home. Listing looked just as described and we loved the high ceilings and large rooms. Only downside is 1 bathroom but we knew that going in. Host was so responsive, especially when we needed more toilet paper and for any other questions we had. We went running along the downtown greenway (just 1 street up) and enjoyed the proximity to the river. Would definitely stay again next time we're in Baton Rouge!
This house is beautiful. I couldn’t stay long enough to take in all the cute places. Excellent location for travelers. Clean and spacious. Loved our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to book it if we went that direction again. The sheets were extra nice!
Beautiful property in a great location! Would stay here every trip to Baton Rouge!

My name is Brian. My wife Janelle and I are eager to get to know different people and share in their experience of our beautiful city, Baton Rouge.
We are both very focused individuals who strive hard to get what we want out of life, and will strive just as hard to ensure that you have an amazing experience.
A fun fact about us is we live in a tiny house and have completely downsized! It's such a freeing feeling and we don't think we will ever go back!
Janelle and I look forward to meeting everyone. Whether your passing through for work, visiting an old friend, or enjoying an LSU football game we got you covered!
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood of Beauregard Town is the second oldest in Baton Rouge. It has many older homes that resemble what you would see in the French Quarter of New Orleans. It has a funky eclectic vibe, and is very safe.
Many travelers enjoy heading to Jolie's Oyster House, spending some time listening to live music, and ending their evening walking alongside the Mighty Mississippi River during their stay.
So much to do downtown!
What makes this property unique
The home is 10 minutes away from the airport and minutes from the freeway. Getting around town is easy with your personal car, an Uber, or just walking around downtown. Recently the city has partnered with Gotcha which allows you to rent a bike to get around town easier!! Awesome!
