Everyone loved the fun vibe of the house. It allowed us to relax and enjoy our time together. Very well-furnished. Within walking distance of downtown, also easy drives to other points of interest.
Good space, floor plan and not far from town. Met our needs for sure. Needs a thorough cleaning though. Cobwebs and dead spiders were noted. Hard to park because the driveway and parking area were so covered with leaves you couldn't see the edges. But we did enjoy our long anniversary weekend there.
Very quiet, comfortable, clean house. Loved the new master suite with skylights and bright windows. Kitchen modern and fully equipped. Especially loved roomy porch with rockers. Short walk to town. We were there almost 2 weeks and will return.
Enjoyed staying at this property and would gladly rent it again. The proximity to town was wonderful. Enjoyed not having to bring our home with us (ie: paper towels, sheets, plates, etc).
We loved staying at this property. The owner was quick to respond to our questions. The location was so close to downtown Highlands and other locations we visited. We would definitely stay here again.
The location was wonderful and the house was very clean and comfortable for our family. We came to the Highlands to attend a wedding and the house worked perfectly for our needs.
Highlands is great for outdoor activities and shopping.

Great location and did the job
Overall the house was what we were looking for, a cozy place to stay in walking proximity to Main Street. I would have liked if there had been extra blankets in the living room and extra bath towels in the front bathroom. The house was definitely clean, but when we arrived we found a dead mouse in the kitchen/dining area. We took care of it and had no issues the rest of our stay.
We had a wonderful weekend. The house was nice, in a quiet neighborhood and close to downtown. We enjoyed the covered front porch and the fact that there was a bathroom for each bedroom. It was also nice that the house was well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc. so that I did not need to pack those items.
This house is very conveniently located. Having a bathroom for each bedroom is great. We had a few challenges (power outage, bears getting into trash cans). While the interior was clean, there was a very musty smell. Great appliances and large kitchen. Small 4-person dining table.

The only positive about this property is that the house is spacious. The owner needs to spend a week on the property and clean and update. Lamps are fire hazards. Furniture covered in dust.
The smoke alarm was missing, the hall bath was okay….until the shower rod and curtain decided to fall while I was in the tub. The owner should make sure this is secured to the wall for future renters. All the bedrooms are nice, except in the bedroom off of the kitchen, room darkening shades would be nice.
4 gals who all graduated from Clemson 53 years ago, had a fantastic time during a long weekend in this precious house in Highlands. It was easy to get to and spic and span when we arrived. 3 bedrooms with the most comfortable mattresses and 3 full bathrooms. A nice large living and dining area. It had a well equipped kitchen. When we aerie all at Clemson we often drove up for a day trip. It was so sleepy and quiet then. Now it is much busier but still has the same charm. We ate in Highlands-and Cashiers. Food was wonderful. This is a charming house. We all highly recommend it. The hostess was so helpful and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this home. 5 stars.
Upon arriving, there was a poor appearance. Leaves and cobwebs on the outside. My husband found the leave blower and cleaned up so my daughter in laws would not notice the spiders (we noticed gutters on roof were full of leaves and twigs and needed attention badly.). We were notified about the tarp on the roof but when there was a thunderstorm on Thursday, there was dripping from door frame and 1st skylight into the main bedroom. We used trash cans to catch the drips. Lots of cobwebs inside upon arrival - dining room ceiling, between windows and screens and skylights. Walk to Main Street was a longer than we anticipated half way there wasn’t a sidewalk. Property was stuck in the 1970’s - needed painted, lots of nail marks in walls, TVs were analogs, position of TV in main bedroom was poorly located. On the bright side - bathrooms and kitchen were updated. Washer and dryer worked well.
