*Read in Full* Thank you for your interest in our short term rental by the lake! I’m sure you can tell by looking at the pictures, our home is in desperate need of a remodel and refresh. We are working on that, but wanted to go ahead and offer this home to anyone needing an affordable place to stay in lieu of a hotel. The price and amenities reflect such. This home is cozy, comfy, and close to the boat ramp. A lot of people love the “older” feel to it. It is 4 miles from General Burnside State park, close to town (Somerset), and grocery stores. NO parties, smoking, or pets. There is surveillance. No third party bookings.
*No third party bookings. We require a copy of the ID of whoever is booking. The person who is booking must be one who will physically be at the rental during the length of your stay. Our insurance requires this.
-You are responsible for reporting the correct amount of guests in your stay. If you tell us you have 3 people, and 8 show up, you are subject to paying for those additional guests or we may cancel your stay. Please communicate with us properly. There is additional fees due to the amount of additional cleaning, laundry, ect… involved with additional guests.
-The house right now is lighthouse themed, we will work on updating this space and update pictures as we go.
-There is NO wifi or cable access in this home. There is an older, outdated, TV, with VHW. ATT customers get service inside the house, though it is slower.
-There is a 1 car garage you are welcome to use. You are also welcome to use the washer and dryer. The kitchen is mostly stocked with basic cooking supplies such as pots, pans, spoons, forks, a small cast iron pan, and a knife.
-BACKYARD INFORMATION: The backyard is sloped and needs cleared. There is NO back porch and no door to access the backyard from the house. If you are looking for a place with a backyard to hang out and grill at, our place is not for you.
-Young children are welcome but must be supervised. The home is NOT childproofed, the backyard is sloped and full of trees and brush. There are no toys, no plug covers, ect… for your children. We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries.
-Please respect our space and treat it as your own.
-Cleaning up after yourselves saves you and us money on cleaning fees which reflects in our lower pricing. We ask guests to specifically do their dishes before leaving and dispose of trash throughout the house properly.
-There IS surveillance on the house viewing the front yard/driveway/porch area and the backyard. Tampering with any of our surveillance will result in IMMEDIATE reservation cancellation & eviction with no refunds.
-Purposeful damage or vandalism is subject to IMMEDIATE reservation cancellation & eviction with no refunds.
-Parties, drama, drug use or activity, disturbing the neighborhood is subject to IMMEDIATE reservation cancellation & eviction with no refunds.
-There is potential for noise. This home is located in a generally quiet neighborhood, but the neighborhood is unrestricted.
- Absolutely no smoking or vaping in the house. If you MUST smoke, please go to the backyard and dispose of your cigarette butts properly. Do not throw them on the ground.
- Please take your shoes off throughout the house if you are comfortable with such. This minimizes damage to the existing floors while we are remodeling.
- If you have a fake tan BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS
