Charlottesville Stay

In town for extended work and so excited to find this place. All the amenities you need and everything is exactly as described. The walk in shower and heated bathroom floor sure are nice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Laura was an exceptional host:)

Wonderful host! Wonderful property!

My husband and I had a great stay. The tiny house hardly felt tiny! The house was well stocked with everything you would expect from a hotel stay and more. Bed was very comfortable and bedroom had great blackout shades. Everything was so nicely decorated and our host could not have been more friendly. We truly enjoyed our time in Charlottesville and would definitely come back!

Great little house that has everything a couple needs

I was in town visiting family who live close by. The house is extremely comfortable, well equipped with essentials, and beautiful. The clever design and high ceilings make the space feel much bigger than we expected. Communication with Laura was great. I will be staying here again.

Amazing tiny house experience!

This was our first stay in a tiny house. The tiny home was so expertly designed and supplied such that it had everything we could possibly need for our 5 day stay. Set in a beautiful backyard under large trees with a kind, friendly and available hostess nearby. It made me want a tiny home of my own!

Just Right for Our Visit to Charlottesville

My husband and I recently stayed in this gem of a small house for four days while visiting family in Charlottesville. It was just right for our needs. The space is beautifully designed and decorated so it seems larger than it actually is. We appreciated having a full kitchen and washer/dryer while on this leg of our road trip. Communication with Laura was great before, during and after our stay. We hope the house is available the next time we are in town!

Fabulous Bestie Weekend!

This small house in the middle of all-things-wonderful Charlottesville was the perfect best friend weekend retreat to unwind and relax! The property was well-appointed with all the things you will need to not bring with you included, but not limited to, dishes, glasses, games, linens, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, washer/dryer, etc. We even had reusable totes and bags to take on our adventures. Everything was ultra clean and comfortable. The property owner was helpful and kind. Even though the property was near the train tracks, there wasn't a lot of noise at all (but I am also used to the city life). The only pro-tip I would have for the next time we book with La Casita is to bring my eye mask. If you are sensitive to light and sleeping in the living room pull out sofa bed (which is quite comfortable), it can be very bright in there. Since I basically enjoy sleeping like a vampire in a coffin (no light), I needed my eye mask. No biggie! I popped to the Target a few miles away and my problem was solved. All in all, we will book for years to come for out bestie weekend in Charlottesville with La Casita, and I suggest you do too!

Small is Beautiful

The Fry's Spring Tiny House was simply perfect. The layout is so well done and comfortable and all the little touches, efficient kitchen, walk in shower and heated floor in the bath, and perfect bed; you can simply just settle in and enjoy. The host couldn't have been more gracious, with little touches of welcome and tips for the neighborhood, and easy to communicate with. We felt like we were visiting friends. Just a little gem to stay in in Charlottesville.

Great getaway!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The tiny house is so thoughtfully laid out and decorated. The bed is tremendously comfortable. The bathroom has a heated floor which was so nice in late October. It was nice that there was shampoo and conditioner and soap already. The neighborhood was quiet and walk friendly. There were a few close restaurants and the drive to downtown was quick. Skyline Drive isn’t far either. The host was very responsive. We will definitely come back again!

Peaceful Getaway

Thank you Laura (and family) for hosting me in your tiny home. It was a great quiet getaway for a few days and a chance to relax and unwind. The home is immaculately clean and beautifully designed (photos on here are very accurate, but don't do it justice for how gorgeous it is). I loved the bathroom, which made me feel like I was in a spa! Also there are things like shampoo, soap, hair dryer, nice towels, Q-tips which make it more like a homey hotel room. Also Laura suggested some good food spots in the area which was great and helped alot. If you're looking to spend quiet some time with very little noise or distractions - which is exactly what I as looking for, this is a great place to stay. I hope to be back again soon! Thanks again Laura.

A tiny house experience that far exceeded all expectations!

I drove to Laura’s “ tiny house” from Denver to visit my grand peeps in Charlottesville. The experience was a DWELL dream come true! Laura is the most amazing hostess as she covers all the bases with half and half waiting for you in the fridge/the best shower ever/comfy bed and cotton sheets and the list goes on. This spot has been the most marvelous and functional place I have ever stayed. I give her a 25 star rating!!

Adorable home!

Laura was so friendly and helpful with recommendations. Location could not be better - a block from a few awesome restaurants (Guadalajara was awesome!) and just 10 minutes from downtown. House was lovely, clean and updated. Hope to stay again soon!
