I just spent almost 3 months at this property and it felt like I home to me. It had all the things I needed to relax- I could cook, spend time in the amazing backyard and enjoy that fantastic neighborhood. I would absolutely stay there again if it’s avail. Troy fixed the things I needed fixed and was patient working around my crazy schedule. The three bedrooms meant I could invite family or friends for a weekend and we all had room. I love the large dining room table. It became half office half dinner table for me. The place is quiet, the shower had plenty of hot water and having laundry is a plus.
We loved this house! The rooms were all nice sized. Kitchen was nice and clean and the laundry room right off the kitchen was so convenient. The back yard was so cute and we spent a lot of evenings out there. The house is also in a great location for downtown site seeing and not far from the beach at all! Parking was always easy and available. We would definitely stay again if we come back!
The house is beautiful and very central to everything … very well kept and host is great (for some reason the floor under the beds were not cleaned) and it really did not make sense since everything else was clean . Overall will definitely stay there again
First, it is a very bright, clean home with a lot of the amazing little touches that you get from an older home but with all of the updated amenities that you like in a newer build.
I have children and the kid sprawl has threatened to take over my house like some blob out of a horror movie. To walk into a home that has the perfect amount of furniture and that has everything in it's proper place can be a very emotional thing... I think I told my children more often than they wanted to hear, "This is what a house is supposed to look like!"
But I digress. The house was very comfortable, very homey and very beautiful. Most importantly, all of the coffee bases were covered. I am a coffee fan, so this was very very important. The fenced-in backyard was a small piece of paradise where my pup could safely roam and hang out with the neighbor's pups. If they had been children, the trip would have ended with them being pin pals.
It was very nearly a perfect stay / vacation. We plan on returning next year!
Property was filthy AND someone was living there!! We had to stay at Rodeway inn. Another nightmare. Room was dirty and even though we told the person reserving the room for us that we had a small dog they gave us a price and we paid it right away. Getting to the motel we were told we had to pay an additional $75 for the dog. We traveled 7 hours to have all this happen! It was horrible!
We traveled to Wilmington, NC from MI for spring break. We loved the location of the property, a short drive to the downtown Historic area/Riverwalk (we were there almost daily) and about a 10-15 min drive (depending on traffic) to Wrightsville Beach. The unit was very clean and spacious and looked just like the pictures. We really liked the enclosed yard for our dog. So many interesting houses in the area, we enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood. I was nervous at first about no assigned parking spot but the on-street parking was great, numerous spots right in front and always available. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The kitchen was well-stocked for the we nights we decided to cook in. Would definitely stay here if we came to the area again! Thank you!
This house had lots of space for my kids and dog to run around. We loved being so close to downtown and to Wrightsville beach. The house was clean. It needs some minor repairs (a doorknob kept falling off and the host didn't always respond promptly. Overall, a nice place to stay!
The location of this home is great for your visit to Historic Wilmington. Very close to everything you need, including Wilmington Beach. Comfortable amenities, nice backyard fenced in, lots of greenery, very charming. I could give higher rating for more comfortable furniture in living room. The dining room was very homey for our Thanksgiving away from home. Be aware that although there is parking on the street, the traffic goes past very fast. The host was responsive to questions / issues.
Very nice, clean & tastefully decorated home near downtown Wilmington. Home was supplied with plenty of linens, towels & extras! Owner was very nice & quick to respond to all of my questions.
The property is extremely clean and the house is located in a place easily accessible to downtown. Troy was very responsive and took care of our needs immediately. We are recommending this location to family for staying while visiting their daughter who attends UNCW. We would definitely stay again! Thanks Troy!
We were looking for a place to stay as we traveled to several of the coastal beaches. We were traveling with a small dog and many other pet-friendly properties were pretty worn out. I was pleasantly surprised when we checked in and grateful that it was a brick home when riding out a hurricane the next day. The owner was attentive on the couple issues we had and great with getting back to me quickly. The only drawback was parking off a fairly busy street. Downtown Willmington was not too far and had many dining options.

The location is right between downtown Wilmington and the beach. We could take a long walk into town with our dog. Pet friendly. Troy was available and responded quickly. The house is not a stand alone house as indicated in its bio. It is a duplex so the back yard is shared. The house overall was spacious but could use updated.
overall troy was easy and quick to respond. The property location very convient to pretty much everything. We realized last day that we were so close to downtown and missed out on some shopping. We get it next time.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here! We needed a little weekend getaway and this was the perfect spot. We were also able to bring our dogs, which is super important for us. The host, Troy, was super friendly, accommodating, and responsive. The apartment was well stocked, clean (lots of cleaning supplies), had an awesome private courtyard in the back we used, in a cute neighborhood, and very close to downtown. We would absolutely stay here again!
Great little home in a central location, pet friendly with a fenced in back yard. Beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Very accommodating host! Would love to stay there again.
