*Dogs are allowed on the beach but we do have restrictions. Dogs must be kept on a leash and are technically only allowed in the mornings and late afternoon/ evenings. The beach can get busier during the day in the summer so they don’t like dogs out during the daytime.

Cute cottage, great location & beach

Two couples & 3 kids stayed for a long weekend. Loved the big backyard (especially the swing set), comfy couches and a quick walk to a beautiful beach.

Cute home with beach access!

5 minute walk to a beach with only guest access! We really enjoyed our stay. Big house with a lot of room for kids to have space. Definitely recommend!

Amazing private beach access

Our family stayed here in August. The location was amazing, just a short 10 min walk to the private beach which was much larger than expected with not a lot of people. It’s also close to cute restaurants and coffee shops (Whistle Stop) and a short ride to downtown New Buffalo. The house was spacious and cottage like and perfect for our stay!

Location is grewat

We loved being able to walk to the beach easily as well as have the swing set to play on for our son. The amount of space was perfect for us.

Lovely Long Weekend

Property was clean, well maintained, a quick walk to the beach, and perfect for our two families to spend a holiday weekend together. The host was even able and willing to accomodate a last minute date change. We would love to return!

Awesome House

We enjoyed our stay here with our Pomeranian! beautiful sunsets, private beach where we had fires every night. The house was clean and well equipped with a chef's kitchen Outdoor shower, too. Highly recommend for larger group or just a few.

Very nice

We enjoyed our stay the week of Thanksgiving. Nice layout, very comfortable. A little closer to Red Arrow, but no noise. Enjoyed the wood burning stove and the open kitchen. Thanks!

Great Neighborhood and Home

This is our favorite neighborhood in the Sawyer/St. Joe/New Buffalo area, hands down! The beach is never too busy, the walk to the beach is quick and easy, and on a whole, the neighborhood is quiet. This house was perfectly suited for our needs, with ample bedroom space for my family of five as well as my parents and our dog, a swingset in the backyard, and good living spaces. The only thing I'd change would be the sheets, as the ones on our bed were quite pilly and rough, but that's an easy fix! We would absolutely stay here again!

Birthday weekend in Lakeside

This was our second year in a row coming up for the Columbus Day weekend and it was another memorable trip. Between the fall festival, the pumpkin patch, the beach, and the surrounding wineries and breweries, the whole family had a blast. The house was the perfect set up once again and the kids loved playing on the playground in the backyard. Can’t wait to do it again next year..

Nice place!

Nice place with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The location was great - short walk to a very nice beach on Lake Michigan. Quiet neighborhood. Owner was very responsive. Great experience all the way around.

Great place for a family Christmas

My family stayed here for Christmas and it was wonderful!! The place had everything we needed. The only issue we had was the tiny tv in the main living room was very hard to see. I would love to visit again.

Great stay

We were very impressed with Jamie’s place. The inside was very clean and spacious. The outside was equally as great with a large backyard with a very nice play set. This place is ideal for families with younger kids and we will definitely be back. We highly recommend this house!

Cute house, only a couple hand towels and washcloths. No top sheers on beds, dishes left in dishwasher. Paid for cleaning n not sure it was cleaned b4 I got there. Load train n traffic noice Very nice beach

Perfect Get-Away!

We had a wonderful stay at this house! Plenty of room for our family of 5 and pup, very clean, well-stocked and just a 5-minute walk to the beach! There was even a bottle of wine and s’mores supplies for us to enjoy when we arrived! We loved every part of it and hope to return next year!

Great Beach Stay

Quick walk to the beach. Private backyard (trees, bushes that created privacy from neighbors). We had 6 adults and am glad we didn’t invite more friends - it would’ve been too tight. We would definitely return!

A great beach house trip!

Jamie's beach rental could not have been a better fit for our family! First, Jamie was so kind, generous, and responsive with our questions. The location of the beach house was perfect and it was so nice to not have to fight for space at the beach. My kiddos loved making smores and playing in the backyard playset when we weren't at the beach. The location, hosts, and cleanliness of the beach house will definitely bring us back. :). Thanks for a great trip!

Our house is in a quiet neighborhood very close to Lake Michigan. We are only about 60-70 miles from the Chicago area but it feels like you are so far away from the busy city and suburbs.

What makes this property unique

Our property is a 100 year old cottage home. It has many historic features with modern amenities. We have a beautiful 4 seasons porch and a large wooded lot. We are only a few blocks from the beach
