This property is just what my tired soul needed to rest and recharge. The view is absolutely breathtaking from the deck but also from the interior dining area. The hot tub was perfect and the beds were comfy. We can't wait to visit again!
We did a 3 day weekend trip. This is our 3rd time at this cabin. We love the views of Mt. Leconte and the closing to Ober Gatlinburg. It's an easy drive down the hill to Gatlinburg and an easy driveway to get in and out of. Will stay here again!
We enjoyed the chalet and the decorations. Kitchen was well equipped for what we used it for. We did not like the comforters on the beds, and very little water pressure in the
Wonderful 2 bed 2.5 bath cabin. Clean, well stocked, and a majestic view. Pool table, reading loft, and hot tub are nice touches. Would stay here again.
The mountain views are spectacular, large windows & sliders keep the view open throughout the cabin-it changes multiple times a day depending on the weather which makes it even better. Home was unique in shape & layout. Vaulted ceilings, large beams, rock fireplace, and hot tub make it a perfect getaway.
My family had a great time at this cabin. Our favorite thing was the spectacular view of the mountains. The hot tub was also a big hit. We enjoyed the open kitchen to make meals. Some things to note- the host only provides one roll of toilet paper per restroom (2 full baths, one 1/2 bath) so make sure to bring some extra. You are also only provided 2 dishwasher pods, a small sample of dish soap and one roll of paper towels. There is a washer/dryer but detergent is not provided. The kitchen was decently stocked, however there are no spices or sugar. The beds are very hard and extra blankets, pillows and bedding was not provided. There is a pull-out in the living room but again, there was no extra bedding so we weren't able to use it. There are no toiletries provided, we had to run out to the grocery store to purchase (the closest, Food City, was about 20 mins away). We loved playing pool, although its just for fun, the table isnt level, some pockets are broken, needs felt, no chalk. The kids enjoyed it though. Overall, we had a great experience, we just wish the cabin was better stocked to reduce trips to the store.
House is exactly as advertised! Very clean. Awesome location in the mountains with phenomenal view, but still only 8-10 minutes into Gatlinburg. My only complaint is that the beds are very hard.
This cabin was exactly as described, location was perfect and the communication throughout the process was excellent. Looking forward to our next trip to TN.
This is our second time staying at this cabin. We love the views of Mt. Loconte right off the back deck. It's in a great location close to Ober Gatlinburg. You can park there and ride the tram down to town (that's what we do). It's also on the south side of Gatlinburg so you can avoid the business of downtown if you are into hiking (that's why we go). You can also take the bypass when coming or leaving to also avoid downtown traffic. Great spot would stay again.
We hope to stay here again. The location is perfect for being close to downtown Gatlinburg but far enough away for nice views and peace and quiet. It’s also a perfect distance to the bypass to the park. The cabin was clean and comfy! I could have sat on the deck the whole stay, the view is perfect. We hope to return back!!
This is the second time we've stayed at this location. It's such a beautiful location! The house is clean and comfortable with a kitchen that has all the needed gadgets. The pool table is always a hit with the teenager and there's a table with room to do puzzles. We will definitely be back!
The property was perfect for a family of 4. The kids loved the pool table and used the upper balcony as their space when homenafter a long day of hiking. The location cannot be beat. The drive from town to the property was very easy. The babies was amazing and we had the most bear enouncters we have ever had (they were on the deck twice during the week and on the property 5 times). The deck and outdoor furniture could use some updating, but in no way affected our stay. The property manager was great to work with and provided prompt answers to all of our questions. Highly recommend this property.
Very nice house for a long weekend. The kitchen was well equipped (although ice trays would be helpful). We enjoyed the deck, the view of the mountains (including seeing black bears from the deck a couple times) and playing pool. The hot tub was nice, and the house is recently renovated for the most part with other details to follow but that's not criticism, just the way life is because this is a comfortable, weekend place with history and charm, not a sterile hotel.
The cabin is very nice clean
The blinds need to be fixed for better privacy. But other than that was very nice the view is amazing bears visit so be careful with any garage 😜 we will return soon .
