This cabin lacked maintenance and cleanliness would not recommend this place to anyone and for what the charged it should be a crime and if anyone wants I will send pictures
The location was ideal for us; being in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge with the option of using back roads to avoid traffic. The cabin was cozy, clean, and the amenities were great (hot tub, jacuzzi tub, fireplace, etc..). The rental property call line was very helpful no matter which person picked up the phone. They were very easy to work with and up front about all information. I would recommended them and we will be using them in the future.
Quiet, clean for the most part, some musty smell inside the cabin. The parking area should be power washed, it was very slippery and my wife almost have an accident. For the most part we like it and I wont hesitate to go back. I will recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay, and it is very close to everithing in the area.
We had a great time in the cabin. For the most part it was as expected. However there were a few issues I think people & the owners need to be aware of.
1) the trash can on the porch is NOT bear proof!! We followed instructions and put our trash in that can, and had a bear visit one night. He took it down the stairs. Then he took the trash bag back by the picnic table, which is right by the hot tub!! Thank god we weren't in the tub that night.
2) Speaking of the the tub. The area around the tub & the cover of the tub were so dirty that it looked like it had not been cleaned in some time. Seeing that made me wonder if the water was clean. Not to mention the huge spiders by the back door. A simple hosing and brushing of the area before guests arrive would take care of that.
3) there was no cell service in the cabin. They really need a landline there. God forbid the bear attacked one of us...we would not have been able to call for help!
The cabin was the perfect size for myself and my partner. We loved the king size bed, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and hot tub out back. The check in process was easy, and communication with the property managers was great. Perfect location for us - in the quiet of the mountains with some distance from the neighbors, but just a quick drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Highly recommend!
It was a great place to stay for my birthday weekend but I did think it was out in the woods all by itself and it’s not. It’s right on the road with a neighbor super close on the left side. That is my only complaint. Aside from that it’s a small romantic cozy cabin and I will go back but now I know exactly what to expect!
