Nice Stay During April

We were in town for a work conference and usually try to stay near the conference center which is also on San Destin's property. We chose this unit in Beachside I because of its beachfront location and the fact that it was on a "middle level" (not a super high floor) and came with a golf cart. While the unit wasn't updated as much as some of those we have previously stayed in at this property, particularly the bathrooms, its condition was good (and as depicted in the pictures), and the unit was clean. The A/C worked well (a must for me because I tend to be hot-natured) and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in was the golf cart. The property's description lists it as "brand new" and it definitely isn't brand new. The seatbelts were difficult to buckle and unbuckle (they appear to be rusted) and managing a speed between "crawl" and "fly" was difficult (perhaps there is something off with the accelerator pedal). We used the golf cart quite a bit to entertain our young son, so those inconveniences were bigger for us than perhaps for others. It was really nice having a full-size washer and dryer (which I didn't realize when I booked) and a nicer fridge than often comes in the condos. Overall, we had a good stay and if the issues with the golf cart were fixed, we would definitely stay in this unit again. Finally, the property manager was easy to work with upon booking and very professional through all interactions. Even if I chose a different unit in the future, I would highly recommend booking through Platinum.
