Looking for the perfect escape to unwind, enjoy the outdoors, and spend quality time with family? Look no further than 'Powder Mill Lodge', conveniently located on Norris Lake in LaFollette, TN, near The Greens at Deerfield golf course as well as Springs Dock Marina.
The moment you arrive, the driveway opens up to sprawling views of Norris Lake and the custom Jim Barna log home. Relax on the large deck or venture down the new gently sloped steps with easy to hold handrail to the private dock with plenty of room for hanging out and swimming (one covered slip and two uncovered boat tie up locations available to guests). For travelers interested in a Fall, Winter or Spring stay, we have a concrete walkway (excellent condition) that extends across the red clay shoreline to the dock walkway when the water is at lower levels.
The open concept kitchen makes family dinners a breeze and the lake views make the wine taste that much sweeter. The spacious gathering area gives multiple families ample room, Wi-Fi access keeps you connected, and satellite TV has the kids entertained. As the sun rises, sip on a cup of joe as the fog lifts off the water. You just may see a bald eagle fly by.
At Powder Mill Lodge we take extra steps for your safety and enjoyment. We have the best cleaning team on the lake (see our reviews). The cabin has state of the art water filtering, softening and anti-bacterial technology.
Powder Mill Lodge is located across from Point 11 in deep water, where two coves and the main lake come together allowing for boating, skiing, kayaking, fishing and much more! As the sun sets, return from your last minute boat cruise to a craftsman style grill & smoker for a mouthwatering feast. Dinner settles best under the open sky by the outdoor stone fire-pit with breathtaking views.
This beautiful cabin proved to be very popular in its first five seasons. We carefully consider customer suggestions and often implement corresponding improvements. We are blessed that guests frequently return.

About the host

Our family has been fishing and boating on Norris Lake for over 30 years. Grandpa, "The Legend", was a popular fishing guide out of Springs Dock. Grandma loved taking the family out on the pontoon boat to meet up with friends at Debbie's cove. We learned time on Norris is all about making magical memories. We purchased Powder Mill Lodge in 2018 with the goal of providing customers with a beautiful setting to make their own lifelong stories.
Why they chose this property
Powder Mill Lodge is a beautiful log house with some of the best views on Norris. While nestled in a private setting, it is close to both a popular marina and beautiful golf course. Also, for Powder Mill Lodge guests interested in going on a fishing trip, we have arranged for a professional fishing guide to pick up and drop off at Powder Mill Lodge dock and to offer a discount.
