Savannah Beach and Racquet Club is a beautiful place to visit. It is a very quiet complex that is gated and has controlled beach access. The condo sits on the quiet side of the complex on the east side. Watch the sun rise from your private balcony. Sit on your sofa and view the water with the large ships going in and out of Savannah. Walk a very short walk to private pier and watch the most beautiful sunset anywhere.

Cocksper light house is in view along with Hilton Head and Daufuskie Island. See the lights at night from balcony or dock. Condo has been updated recently, very clean and comfy. You will fall in love with the whole island. You can reach me or my private housekeeper any time. Shopping ahead of time is available for a nominal fee. Arrive with your food and drinks already there.

Perfect for Anniversaries

My significant other and I stayed for 2 nights agter a short but hectic family vacations.The tranquility was just what we needed. The sounds of the ocean from the beloncy allowed us to have a very nice dinner with a gorgeous view. With a 5 minute walk to the beach you cant go wrong! The property was very clean and homey feeling. We truly hope to return in the future.

Not what we expected

The view was a peekaboo view, all you see is parking lot and trees and condos.. and a small view of the ocean. It’s a high tide beach ,The water rises to the entrance steps. It took us an hour to check in.The directions are unclear .The owner did not respond until the next day .(Inside Fridge??No Rats there…sprayed on regular basis.)..Her sarcastic answer to us asking why there was a mouse trap on the SIDE of the refrigerator.. .. The bedroom is very small , Hard to navigate around the small space between the bed and the wall, smacked my head getting out of the bed to go to the bathroom.Theres a permanently installed mirror over the only window in the bedroom , seems unsafe , in case of fire ..

Lovely condo perfect for 2

Our stay was nice - clean condo perfect for 2. We enjoyed exploring the island and walking up the beach daily. Our only issue was the keypad did not lock the unit, so we did have to carry around the physical key to esure we could lock up .. not a big deal, though. Would recommend staying here!

Great view

We had trouble getting the gate card out of the box. We didn't know where the elevator was so we had 3 elderly, handicapped people going up the stairs with bags. Once inside, the view of the water, the breeze and the inside was very much worth it effort. The only suggestion i would offer is, i would get a clean mattress for the bunkbed and seal the gap between the mattress and the wall.

Wonderful Time In Spite of Helene!

My husband and I stayed in this condo on September 25, 26 and 27, 2024. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and condition of the condo. The decor is beautiful. The view from the balcony is exactly as pictured in the description and was very enjoyable. We did indeed see dolphins from the balcony on the first afternoon of our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was huge! The kitchen is well stocked with any utensil or pan you might need. On Friday morning Hurricane Helene hit Florida, and the power went out on the whole island. We spent all of the day and night in the dark with no air or power. However, we still enjoyed being there and each other. Tybee Island itself is a very nice and quaint town. Because of the weather, we didn't get to go to any shops and get souvenirs for our grandchildren. The only downside about the condo was getting into it. The elevator is all the way at the opposite end of the building and it's a long haul down the hall from the elevator to the condo. There are stairs that come up right beside the condo, but if you have problems with your knees or legs (as I do) it's kinda tough. I highly recommend this condo and hope that someday we might come back again when there's not a hurricane threatening! We thank our Lord for safety going down, while there and going home. Our Host, Laura, was very accommodating and always responded promptly.

Lovely little place, nice view from balcony

We enjoy this quiet area on the North Shore of Tybee where you can see the ships coming into the bay and Savannah River. The place is comfortable and cute; decorated with a lot of art.

The rental was in an older facility where handicap accessible is more of a challenge. With that being said; I felt our rental was clean and charming. The balcony had an ocean view, pool was close, access to the beach was close. You could get to food establishments and shops by walking or a short drive. The rental was exactly what was needed to extend our time after a convention.

Tybee Get-Away

This was our first trip to Tybee Island and loved it. If you are looking for quiet peaceful stay without the crowds, then this location is perfect. Our unit had a great view of the water and was able to sit and watch the dolphins swim by each evening. Unit itself was perfect for us and our host made the check-in process seamless. Absolutely loved it and we plan to come back.

Great spot on the beach!

The condo was just like described. We loved the ocean view from the balcony. There were a couple of beach chairs and boogie boards which was awesome to have to use! Only downside for some may be not having a dishwasher. We used disposable plates, cups, etc so it wasn't a problem for us. If you enjoy waves in the ocean, this area is not for you. The only waves we got were when boats came by but it worked out well having a toddler.

Pro) Location way perfect. Down for a long weekend for a wedding. Easy to navigate. Con) Was NOT allowed to have a golf cart (rental) on property. Wasn't told this until AFTER the fact. Security worked with me but for a guy with two hip replacements and an up and coming back surgery this was a big inonvenience.

Lovely quiet place

On the quiet side of Tybee Island. Beach with no waves and very shallow, so would be good for little ones. We had a really nice stay.

Great week in Tybee!!

The condo was as pictured!! The bedroom was very small. Which was expected but I prefer windows. Bed was comfortable!! Island was fun. Beautiful view from the balcony!! One suggestion… new patio furniture. Table has metal on the edge and is rusted. Went to Savannah 2 days which was amazing!! Enjoyed dining at Huck a poos and the Crab Shack!! Great food!! If you need to food shop there is an IGA on the island but I also saw a Publix on Rte 80 West when I returned from Boneventure Cemetery!! Only 10 miles or so from condo. Oh and the elevator is on the South end of the building if you are disabled in any way. However there are still steps. Unless you go to the ramp in the center of the building and back track. I would say if you have difficulties walking or using steps this unit would not work out too well. Unit was also very clean!!

Linda’s place on Tybee island

The condo was cozy and bright! Great deck over looking the beach and wild dolphins frolicking in the sea!! The beach is so private we were alone enjoying the beautiful sunshine and watching cargo ships pass. Savannah is only 25 minutes away and going into town is a straight shot!! We had an excellent time! The property is so quiet and restful!! I would highly recommend!!

Great condo

We had a good time. The location was good and the condo was as advertised. We enjoyed the view from the porch and the closeness to the beach. We had minor glitches with working the tv. The host and housekeeper were helpful with this and responded quickly. The instructions for locking the door weren't quite accurate but we figured it out. We did have to replace batteries in the keypad since it wasn't working at one point. The mattress could use a replacement. The area was nice and quiet. All in all it was a relaxing get away.
