Charming house located in the heart of a small and quiet village on the river "Dordogne" with an exceptional environment (the heart of the great vineyards of Bordeaux, near Saint-Emilion and not too far from the sea (Atlantic Ocean) .
The house has a terrace (secure) facing the river. It has 4 bedrooms with clean water bath-rooms (one on the ground floor) and two on the 2nd floor with a separate bathroom.

Wonderful stay!

Thank you Nadine for a wonderful stay at your beautiful house. We were two families and were very comfortable with lots of space. The outside terrace is lovely and the house is well located for visiting the area. Nadine was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!

Nadine's lovely house

We loved the homieness and comfort of Nadine's property. Her kitchen had everything we could possibly use; well equipped with glasses, dishes, pots and pans. We Americans had to figure out the clothes dryer, but other than that we were able to use the house very well.

Lovely property

Nadine is an amazing host. She is very considerate and made us feel welcomed. She will go out of her way to help. The property was very clean and nicely appointed. The bedrooms upstairs were a bit hot but the weather was unusually hot for the time of year. It might be a good idea to invest in some air conditioning units for times when it is unbearable. We were very happy with our stay and Nadine was an excellent host.

Noël en famille

Maison très agréable en bordure de Dordogne. Calme et repos assurés. Tout le confort et équipement complet. De plus, notre hôtesse est très agréable et prévenante et s'est assurée que toutes les conditions étaient réunies pour un très agréable séjour. A recommander chaudement.

Perfection near St Emilion

This property has everything that one needs in a home. The attention to detail is evident with every room designed to ensure that you have a “home”. The kitchen is a chef’s delight. Agréable séjour

Somos 5 amigas que viajam juntas a cada ano escolhendo uma região da França. Dessa vez escolhemos a casa de Nadine, em Cabara, na Nouvelle Aquitaine. Nadine é uma anfitriã calorosa e disponível. A casa impecável e adoravelmente localizada a beira do Dordogne foi um cenário perfeito para nossa viagem anual onde entre deliciosos cafés da manhã, muitos passeios, e brindes festejamos o convívio harmonioso e feliz de nossa 12a viagem juntas na França que muito amamos.

Lieu Accueillant et Reposant

Nadine est très sympathique et se trouve sur place donc c'est pratique. La maison est sympa avec une très belle vue et le village aussi. Les environs ravirons les amateurs de vin !

Merveilleux séjour

La maison est belle, spacieuse, propre et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. La terrasse est très agréable avec sa vue sur la Dordogne. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Les literies sont confortables. Nadine est une hôtesse très accueillante qui prend le temps de tout expliquer concernant sa maison. Nous nous y sommes sentis très bien.

Fabuleux !

Un merveilleux week end au coeur des vignobles. La maison est très chaleureuse, très bien équipée et extremement propre. Le village de Cabara est charmant. Nous avons eu la chance de visiter la propriété viticole du mari de Nadine ce qui n'est pas courant dans cette région. Merci à Nadine pour sa disponibilité, ses conseils et sa gentillesse !

Belle maison et jolie vue !!!

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille très agréable, dans cette maison très confortable très bien équipée avec une très grande cuisine ce qui est appréciable pour gérer les repas d'une grande famille. Cabara est une petite bourgade très calme,au bord de la Dordogne et à une dizaine de kilomètres de St Emilion. La maison nous offre une vue féerique sur la rivière. Nadine nous a très bien accueillis et à été très prévenante. Un endroit que je recommande sans hésiter.

Charming Taste of Village Life

The villa in Cabara was quite charming. Very clean and modern, but with a wonderful old European feel. We 2 couples were very comfortable in the villa, and it could easily accommodate much larger family/friends group. We spent many hours on the terrace, which is just across the lane from the river, watching the water and the village folks go by. Nadine was very easy to work with, and very responsive, once we figure out WhatsApp was the best way to stay in touch. Nadine provides guests with lots of ideas of places of interest, and Cabara is very conveniently located. Nadine even invited us for a tour of her family vineyard for the harvest. If you enjoy a peaceful spot with some local interest at the end of your touring day, Cabara will suit your needs.

Un super weekend de famille

Nous avons passé un super weekend dans cette maison bien agencée pour les 12 adultes que nous étions. Maison bien équipée et dont on a apprécié la déco et le confort. Mais le top reste la terrasse avec vue sur la Dordogne. On en a profité à fond. Plein de visites à faire aux alentours.

Séjour excellent

Merci Nadine, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Cabara est un magnifique petit village au bord de la Dordogne, les habitants d’une gentillesse et générosité, rare. Nous avons été invités à visiter un très beau jardin, avec des Bonsaïs, bassins à nénuphars....La maison est parfaite et super bien placée. Évidemment ST Emilion à 10 minutes, n’attendait que nous et pour finir temps magnifique. Super belle découverte en famille.
