Winter Escape ----Victoria

Our comfortable home is a 1.5 story, 2 bedroom plus den, character suite in a converted heritage 4 plex. Hardwood floors throughout, leaded windows, modern kitchen complete with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Two upgraded bathrooms, one on each level and a private, west-facing front porch. We live in the Fairfield area, one of the most sought after areas to live in Victoria. We are a short walk to Oak Bay Village where there are wonderful shops, restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and coffee shops. We are also a short walk to the Oak Bay Recreation Centre with a large pool, gym and skating rink. The heart of downtown is a 30 minute walk away and by car, just 10 minutes. Our neighborhood many lovely walks to beaches, parks and the 10 acres of gardens at Government House. We are also situated close to public transit. In about 3 hours you can be in Vancouver or Seattle by ferry after leaving our home by car.
The nearby Gulf Islands provide many day trip opportunities and if hiking is your pleasure, old growth rain forest walks are a short distance by car from us
