Rock Hill Cabins - Bear Den

Bear Den is situated along Route 555 with a large grass yard and hot tub! Less than 5 miles from Benezette! Enjoy the peaceful setting surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania from the hot tub. We are just far enough from the craziness, but close enough to enjoy a short drive to town. This cabin is open year round which makes it perfect for a family getaway, special occasion, hunting or fishing trip! Come here to watch the elk! Bear Den is a great option for those with limited mobility or even wheelchairs. Sleeps up to 7.
The Bear Den is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin that can sleep 7 comfortably and has a hot tub on a covered porch! With an accessibility ramp out front, you enter the cabin into the living room that has a couch, recliner, smart TV, and electric fireplace. Through to the kitchen, you'll find countertop seating at the bar or pull up a chair around our live edge walnut table! The kitchen is stocked with basic kitchen essentials such as pots, pans, spatulas, plates, bowls, silverware, etc. Both bedrooms feature king beds with an additional camp bed and the sofa bed being used for extra sleep spaces. Linens and towels are provided!

We had a nice relaxing stay. I believe the cabin could use a few updates. It was generally clean. The owners were very quick to answer any questions. The negatives were it was close to the road but not a real busy one and you can’t drink the water

Perfect getaway

The cabin was perfect for our time away. Cabin was very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. Even got to see some wildlife from the cabin.

Amazing Spot - Look No Further!

Folks, if you're looking to go to Benezette, this is your spot. On the main road but perfectly secluded. Crisp, clean cabin with everything you need - including a relaxing hot tub. The owners are wonderful, communicative, and accommodating - you can tell they genuinely care and want your experience to be the best. Next trip this will definitely be the spot I try to get first!

Clean cabin

Cabin clean,beds very comfortable, kitchen had necessity. Hottub needs some repairs,grill needs repairs,firepit area not usable ,it is in driveway with picnic table, no wood. Very close to road lots of traffic, very noisy.

Friends get together in Elk Country

The location is great! The traffic is very noisey on Rt. 555 except in the evening. The cabin was comfortable but not enough seating for 4 and the only table to eat at was outside on the porch, The listing does not mention that the water in the cabin is not potable and the owner gives you 2 gallons of water to start. I would of liked to known that. Dylan was getting back to me with my questions. It was a clean cabin overall.

Great cabin

The pictures didnt do this cabin justice! It was beautiful, quiet, clean and felt like home. We enjoyed the view while relaxing in the hot tub! Our host was very nice and answered any questions promptly. When it came time to leave, the whole family wanted to stay. This will definitely be our go to spot when visiting Elk County. Thank you!! 🙂

Clean, comfortable stay

The cabin was very clean and perfect for us. Traffic was a bit loud but the views made up for it. Didn't see any animals but heard elks bugling and a whipperworl bird.

Clean and Comfortable!

Clean and comfortable cabin, with all the amenities required! WiFi worked great, the kitchen had all the basics needed to cook meals, and the heated/massaging recliner was a great surprise! And, of course the hot tub was the highlight. The cabin is close to the main road, so you can hear car's passing by much of the day, but it is not heavily traveled at night, when it turns into a quiet retreat in the woods. Thank you for sharing the cabin!

We had a great stay at Bear Den. The cabin was very clean, cozy and extremely comfortable...the beds were wonderful. The ramp was a godsend as I have mobility issues. The owner was very easy to work with and responsive to questions.

Lovely place

My husband and I booked this for our 5 year anniversary. This place was a clean little place for what we needed. Loved that it was handicapped accessible as well because we had to also bring my mother with us that is handicapped and the ramp made it nice to get her in and out. Would definitely come back again
