Great stay!
Lovely and well appointed villa with rustic outdoors and pool. It had everything we required for a comfortable stay for 3 girlfriends travelling south Puglia. As other reviews have noted, the town is very sleepy but adds to the overall charm and forces downtime.

Lovely, airy house with fab private garden
We had the most relaxing holiday ever! A few more local restaurants would have been nice but the village was very quiet and non-touristy. Would definitely go back 🙂

Stay in Lucugnano
We stayed in Lucugnano with 2 families. The house is beautiful, designed with great taste and a place to feel home from the first moment you enter. We enjoyed the shady courtyard and pool during a hot July week. The host provided us with a very nice contact for cooking classes, that we had one night at the house. There are several beaches 15/20 minutes from the house and it's a great location to visit different places in the south of Puglia. We enjoyed our stay!

Family Holiday
Isabella's Mansion is a glorious house in a lovely little quiet and friendly town near to some beautiful towns and beaches. The house is immaculate and tasteful and Isabella did everything she could to make our stay fantastic. The courtyard garden and beautiful pool area have lots of cool shade areas. We cannot recommend the house more highly. We did have a two year old with us and would warn that there are some very steep stone steps so be careful with little ones.

Absolute Must!
OMG! From start to fin8sh, an amazing experience. The communication prior to arrival until departure was excellent. I also cannot stress enough how beautiful the house is. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy Puglia. Lucugnano is a small and quaint community with friendly people. Close to the mare (10-15 minutes) and easy to reach many other destinations. I cannot recommend Isabella's home enough. We will be back soon hopefully...

Lovely Property
Very helpful owner and greeter, with great communication, and the property was beautifully clean on our arrival. The house and it’s garden area are very well presented, with great quality loungers and a lovely clean pool. We loved the colour schemes and furnishings in the house. Super collection of books - I enjoyed reading the history and cookery books. Given it was 37 degrees c the air conditioning functioned very well. Well equipped and a good location for exploring the area. We went to the beach, explored local towns and landmarks and hired a boat for an afternoon. Lovely little town, more eateries within walking distance would make it even better. Trattoria Iolanda is well worth a visit. We had to take our car into a garage, but struggled to rent a car for a few days. We contacted the house owner who was very helpful in organising a hire car for us - thank you. A really lovely little sanctuary, with lots of space to sit quietly and read, oh and the wifi was good for our two teenagers.

Easter break in awesome villa
We spent 6 days in April in Lucugnano exploring Puglia. The house is very well located with lots of great places to visit within easy driving distance. It is in the center of Lucugnano only a few steps from the piazza with its typical café and pizzeria and very close to a small and quaint little bakery, supermarket and butcher shop. The house itself is really spacious, definitely big enough for the seven of us (4 adults and 3 teenagers). It's an old house that has been renovated with great style and all the modern amenities. The kitchen is huge and it was fun to cook great meals there. There is a rooftop with great views over the town of Lucugnano. The garden is bigger than we suspected and has a pool that we weren't able to use due to the unusually cold weather when we were there. Fortunately the house has central heating and Isabella was so thoughtful as to heat it up prior to our arrival so it was comfortably warm. Isabella is a great host, the communication was prompt and she was very helpful with any questions we had. All in all our stay was awesome and we would love to come back.

Le Palazzotto est très spacieux et plein de charme.Notre hôte, Isabella,parle extrêmement bien le français et nous a été d une très grande aide tout au long du séjour.Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésitation.

Magnifique sejour chez Isabella
Superbe séjour chez Isabella. La maison a de très belles prestations, tout confort dans un lieu authentique. Nous avons été très touchés de l'accueil et des petites attentions apportées. La maison est très spacieuse et encore plus belle que sur les photos. La demeure a une vue à couper le souffle sur le rooftop où nous avons pu contempler les couchers de soleil. Juste magique.

Très belle location
Très belle location décorée avec goût et soin. On se sent bien tout de suite. Situé prêt des commerces à 30 mètres boucher et épicerie, et proche des 3 restaurants du village à 200 mètres. Maison située au calme, très peu de voisins et une très belle piscine, chaude! 31 degrés en permanence et à 29 à minuit. Enchanté de notre semaine, nous recommandons vivement cette location. De plus, notre hôte parlait français et anglais.

Merveilleux séjour au Palazzotto de Lucugnano
La maison est incroyablement belle. L'aménagement et la décoration sont magnifiques et la hauteur sous plafond rend cette maison très confortable et fraîche en été ! L'équipement a permis de recevoir dans un grand confort notre équipe de 7 personnes. Le rooftop le soir pour l'apéritif ... magique ! La piscine parfaite. Isabella, la propriétaire, donne une attention toute particulière à ses hôtes. Notre satisfaction a été son leitmotiv. Tout simplement une adresse à recommander les yeux fermés !

Tout simplement parfait!
Nous avons passé le séjour en famille avec nos enfants, la maison est parfaite en tout point et excellemment bien située pour visiter le Salento. Isabella est très réactive et à l’écoute, l’accueil et la gentillesse de Daniela ont été un plus. Merci encore pour ce séjour, nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation!

Wundervolles, sehr geschmack- und liebevoll restauriertes Haus
Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche mit der Familie in diesem traumhaft schönen Haus verbracht. Allein der Hinterhof mit gemütlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten und einem extra Bereich mit Pool hat zum Relaxen eingeladen. Alle Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und wir konnten uns jederzeit mit Fragen an die Gastgeber wenden.

Excellent séjour
La maison est superbe, très agréable et très confortable. Nous étions 2 familles (avec 2 et 3 adolescents chacun), c'était parfait. Lugugnano est un village très agréable, proche de plages très sympa aussi bien à l'ouest qu'à l'est et au sud. Il possède toutes les commodités et des petits restaurants très sympathiques. Les terrasses (côté jardin ou sur le toit) sont exceptionnelles, la communication était très simple et agréable avec Isabella. On se sent vraiment très bien dans la maison qui est typique du Salento. Bref, le séjour était parfait à tout points de vues.

Una vacanza meravigliosa
In questa magnifica casa salentina abbiamo trascorso una vacanza meravigliosa in otto: due famiglie con figli adolescenti. Il palazzotto è davvero molto grande e gli spazi permettono sia di stare tutti insieme sia di avere momenti di privacy. Ogni angolo è curato nei minimi dettagli ed essere così intensamente immersi nella bellezza e nella cura fa davvero la differenza: ci sono stati giorni in cui abbiamo scelto di non andare al mare per quanto stavamo bene a casa! È stato bellissimo cenare di sera in giardino e fare le ore piccole sul terrazzo a guardare le stelle. Lucugnano è un paesino molto tranquillo, ma dove c’è tutto quel che serve, assolutamente da visitare nella piazza è Palazzo Comi, dove una bibliotecaria appassionata e gentile ci ha fatto conoscere la vita e la poesia di Girolamo Comi. Le spiagge sullo Ionio e gli scogli selvaggi e appartati sull’Adriatico sono a 20 minuti d’auto ed entrambi bellissimi. Il Salento è una terra speciale e la casa di Isabella trasmette molto del suo carattere. Speriamo davvero di poterci tornare.

Stijlvol groot huis met een volledige inrichting
Groot huis ,geschikt voor 8 personen met daarbij behorende accomodatie.Zeer mooi verbouwd met goede materialen en stijlvol aangepast. Grote slaapkamers en ruime gemakkelijke keuken voorzien van alle benodigdheden en uitrusting. Communicatie met beheerder verliep goed. Wij hebben de woonkamer niet gebruikt omdat wij constant en-route waren en het hele grote dakterras ook niet omdat het regelmatig te hard waaide. De tuin /patio achter het huis is enigszins donker en hier zou gesnoeid kunnen worden .Men dient zich te realiseren dat er in de directe omgeving diverse kerkklokken actief zijn !
