we had a great time during our weekend here. Ned was so helpful and just an all around great host. it may be a little out dated as this is a 200 year old house but we an absolutely amazing time.
Great accommodations for large groups in North Conway
The property was well maintained and was in a great location in walking distance to many local restaurants and amenities. The owner was friendly and very accommodating. Overall it was a great place to stay.
70 Locust Lane was nice, but the owner offered us a free upgrade across the way because it was empty. It was a bit larger and modern. We loved the house, super clean and spacious. The owner was super nice and always available for our needs. I’d highly recommend renting his properties.
We had such a great time. When we arrived, we were offered a different (newer) property with similar amenities, and it was lovely! The patio & hot tub were a hit and we had plenty of space for a home cooked meal where everyone could hang out together in the kitchen / living room area as we cooked. We'd love to come back some time!
We have stayed in neds properties multiple times as loved them , this by far was the most outdated home but served it’s purpose. Has everything you need just needs a few updates for cosmetic reasons. Perfect location and spacious.
Our group had a great time at this house definitely one of the more interesting set ups but made use of the pool, hot tub, grill and pool room. Would definitely return.
The property manager was excellent and looked after our every need from the minute we arrived. He was accommodating and even upgraded us to another one of his lovely properties which was larger and more suitable for our group. The house was clean, comfortable and we couldn’t have asked for a better location! First class and we will be back!
The house was clean, stocked with supplies and Ned was awesome. Very welcoming and friendly. He responded quickly and helped us with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here or at another of Ned’s properties again!
We stayed for a family get together and there were 12 of us; all adults. The house worked very well and gave everyone enough privacy and had a good outdoor space for a fire, game playing etc.. The house is older, so its a little dated, but still worked really well - we would return again. Also, the owner lives next door - the houses are attached and he is very responsive.
Some downsides to the house were that the WIFI was very spotty. The pool was a community pool (we didn't know that and thought it went with the house the picture was deceiving). We had a great time in the hot tub because we were in the middle of a heat wave; if we weren't, the hot tub would not have been hot enough. Also, the pool table, games were in the basement which was musty, so we didn't even use it. Again, we thought that was on the main level.

Good Family House
We stayed here over Feb vacation week. It has a great location in North Conway nearby the slopes of Cranmore and the Red Jacket Inn that has an indoor water park.
It is a good house with lots of bedrooms and is fairly spread out. We had a party of 9 (2 adults and 7 kids) staying and a family of 5 who spent evenings with us. There was plenty of room. It's an older house so it shows its age. While we have few complaints, just to let any prospective renter know the wifi access was spotty at best (so was cellphone reception). We would lose it for several hours every day. Also the house needs some weatherproofing. The front and back doors have rather large gaps underneath and in the case off the back door large gaps in the door panels where it has cracked. We had a cold north wind for a few days and you could feel the breeze blowing through and under the doors. We had to crank up the heat to 80 just to compensate and put towels under doors. The owner should buy and install a few storm doors. Also the billiard and fooseball room are down in the cellar. None of the kids wanted to use them because the spaces are unheated. Also the trip from the house to hot tub was rather dangerous because the back patio was covered in a sheet of ice. Wet feet and ice do not mix.
The owner lives nearby and was always very responsive to any requests. As mentioned he has several other more modern units on same street that look quite nice.
