The charming community of Plain is two and a half miles away, where you'll find the most fabulous hardware store with artisan gifts, a coffee bar, and rentals for snowshoes and cross-country skis - groomed trails are right across the road. Lake Wenatchee is a scenic, eight-mile drive away, and is the perfect spot to swim, hike the trails, or launch a boat and cruise the lake. Head to Leavenworth, a Bavarian-inspired village, for even more shops, restaurants, and annual festivals.

After a day of exploring, return home for a relaxing evening of roasting marshmallows around the firepit or unwinding on the reclining sectional with a family movie night.

Super Cozy Winter Getaway

Our family of four (kids 10 & 11) loved this space! It is dated but just as pictures show and that was perfect for us for a fun winter snow weekend. Good heating in house, huge beds beds with better pillows and blankets than hotel we had night before and easy parking spot were all 5 star (shout out to the huge cozy couch)! We cannot wait to come back!

I really liked the location. The home was cozy and warm. It was nice overall. However, be sure to take essentials such as shampoo, conditioner and coffee. Even a cheap hotel gives you those. Overall, it was a good stay.

Could use some updates but overall good

A little family getaway brought us to this property. The price was decent and the property was clean. Some inexpensive upgrades could really make this property shine.

The photos show a deck that is not there. The home has many things held together with duct tape, including the AC units. There is no washer and dryer although this was not listed so I was only hoping there would be. The river is closed for fishing, the lake shown in the photo is 20 min from the property. Listing says you can use the fire pit but property has a sign in the pit stating no fires while most neighbors enjoying fires and no restrictions in place. The majority of the power outlets are old and unsafe. Will not hold any plug without a ground. Multiple parts of the home are in disarray. Trim pulled away. Mirrors about to fall out, showers and sink both had small but many spiders in them. Overall very dissatisfied. Would ask for at least partial refund but I’m sure it would be too much hassle. Took many photos of the conditions and may submit a request when I have time. I would not rent here again and may be staying away from “Vacasa” in general after reading further reviews.

Great stay, great location!

If you are looking for a great place to stay in Leavenworth, then the Pinecone Den is your place! I had to work a wedding last weekend, and the rental was perfect! It has pedantry of space inside, and plenary relaxing space outside! There is also plenty of covered parking space! Not only was the house great, the location was perfect! I was close to everything! Definitely a 5 Star retreat! -Ty

To Be Clear: This is a double-wide trailer home, hence the low price

As the title indicates, if you didn't recognize: this is a double-wide. Therefore, do not expect a full-on home. What does this mean? Showers are smaller, it is COLD during winter, it has a smell (that your nose quickly adapts to), and the walls are thin metal. Additionally, it feels a bit like a trailer home. With all of that being said - we found it to be cozy and comfortable. The wifi speed is 100 down and 50 up, which was impressive. The couch is awesome, all of the TVs have Rokus, the kitchen has utensils/cookware, but no spices. All in all, for the price, this is a great value and much more affordable than other options. 35 minutes from Steven's Pass, 30 minutes from Leavenworth.

bare bones

The location with proximity to cross country ski trails was great. The mobile home was warm with comfortable beds. Overall vibe is cheap functional with finishes not well maintained.

Property falling apart, literally. Bad need of remodel or replacement of trailer.

no firepit description false and picture false. 3 doors would not close, including bathroom door. TV was not hooked up per instructions. Just a very old worn out mobile home, which is reflected in the price I guess, but disappointed no firepit as promised for roasting marshmallows.

We enjoyed the location of the house. There was the Ponderosa Playground a block down the street with easy access to the river where our grandkids had an enjoyable time playing and wading in the water. The drive to Leavenworth was an enjoyable drive and within a reasonable distance. The home was clean throughout which made it a nicer experience although the mobile home needed updating, seemed worn out and needed some minor repairs. We received a call the morning of our arrival that the air conditioning was being worked on and there may be a repairman when we get there. However, the units were working, the repairman was not there and we had wonderful cool air throughout our stay.
