Ocean Front Suite #2 (750 +/- Sq Ft) is located on the lower level, right above the beach. It features a spacious, private bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed, hotel grade linens, HD 4K Smart TV and a well-appointed bathroom. The living area includes a fireplace, queen-size pullout sofa-bed (sleeps 2), HD 4K Smart TV with a Sonos Sound Bar, and a dining table that seats 4. The spacious kitchen provides everything needed for gourmet meal preparation. This Suite is beautifully decorated to complement and highlight the stunning ocean views. Experience magical sunsets, the rhythm of crashing waves, and unobstructed ocean views all from the privacy of your own, furnished deck. All Suites enjoy free wireless internet, private beach access and one Free on-site parking space.

Just OK

PRO's: Great location...the unit is right on the beach...and walking distance to Malibu farms (they post pics of Nobu but Nobu doesn't answer their phones so don't rely on that as a dining option). I know some people complained about the noise level from the waves... we use a white noise machine so it didn't bother us but it is definitely really loud when the waves come crashing on the unit at night. (If you need quiet to sleep, probably not for you.) CON's: Slow or no response to questions from property manager, floors were dirty (a white napkin turned brown upon wiping - I had a baby with me so I found out the hard way) and there was an ant problem in the kitchen/bathroom (I let the property manager know but no response about it). Overall, our family had a decent stay since Malibu Farms was nearby and that gave us something to do, but we probably won't stay there again. There's not much to do around there with kids other than walking to the pier. I would probably stay elsewhere (if you have kids) as the beach really isn't safe for swimming and by late afternoon the waves crash pretty high and hard so you can't really take walks on the beach in the evening either.

The property was beautiful, exactly like the photos! The neighborhood is great - there was a lot within walking distance like beaches, cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. The property manager always answered any questions/comments timely. I would absolutely recommend staying in Malibu, CA and at this property. My only note for the area is I had a difficult time with Ubers/Lyfts being available so I would recommend renting a car.

Awesome location!

The location can't be beat, with the balcony overlooking the ocean and easy walking distance to the Malibu pier, restaurants, shopping, and parks. The apartment was really comfortable for two of us, with separate living, kitchen and dining area.

Bad experience

Property unit was subpar and misrepresented in photos: poor heating unit/cold no heating vents in bedroom/bathroom, smell of gas from fireplace, half of shower door missing, dirty caulking in bathroom. rust on vent in kitchen, countertop worn, etc. Left one day early no reimbursement offered.

Was a very charming place and a great location. Speaking of location, unlike most of Southern California the beach is very narrow here and the waves crash only feet from the balcony and it can be very loud. Took a while to adjust to. Definitely would stay again.

Amazing setting

Location wise, it was by far the best setting I have ever stayed in. The balcony was literally over the waves. In terms of the place, it was large enough for two adults and two teenagers but would have gotten snug if we stayed for a while. The unit was dated, probably more like 3 stars, but location more than made up for it.

Malibu Oceanfront Condo

You cannot get any closer to the ocean than this unit. The waves literally crash under the condo. Cruz was very responsive to all of our inquiries and questions. The unit does sleep four, but it feels crowded with four adults in the unit with a small bathroom. the bathroom could also use some updating/repairs. It would be perfect for a couple’s getaway. We will certainly consider staying there again.

Recuperation at the beach

Overall, this was a perfect solution to convalescence after major surgery. Friends and family enjoyed the deck, with waves crashing right under the house, walks on the beach and sunrise/sunset. VRBO didnt always notify the property manager of minor issues, but she gave me her cell immediately.
