Family Visit at BAMA

The hosts were absolutely lovely, and the apartment was very comfortable. We were made to feel welcome and had everything we needed. This will definitely be on our list of return-to places!

Game Weekend Retreat

What a pretty property! The Host left us donuts, waters and had a welcome sign waiting on us when we arrived. We had a crazy day and the host worked with us on what time we could check in. The pond was beautiful and the accommodations were clean and neat. Would definitely stay there again.

What a beautiful stay

This was such a beautiful stay. It was nice to start and end our crazy days with such a peaceful place. The owners are so sweet and very easy to communicate with. They went way above and beyond to welcome us.

Quiet location with a great view

In town for a football weekend and we wanted to stay at a location convenient to campus and the stadium. This property met that criteria at a reasonable price. The property was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Place to Relax

Gloria went above and beyond to make this family visit special. Our grandsons loved fishing and they was especially excited about having their own personal containersl of catfish food labeled so they could feed the catfish.. Of course everyone enjoyed the donuts.

Great Hosts and Beautiful Property

We were very busy on this trip, as we had to move a child back home after a college graduation, however our hosts were very accommodating. They made us feel right at home, but gave us plenty of privacy. The rental was very clean and comfortable. The lake property was beautiful surprisingly, as it is located in a neighborhood. We took advantage of the beautiful ambiance of the patio every night with the nice bottle of wine our hosts supplied. The only drawback was the internet. My partner was trying to get stuff done for work and it was very difficult. So, keep in mind, this is vacation! Our hosts had chocolate chip cookies, fruit, orange juice and coffee supplied for our stay, which was such a surprise and awesome. Very nice place.

Lovely property, close to UA. Gloria and Grover were wonderful! My husband also enjoyed the fishing.

Definitely would love to stay here again! It was perfect! Clean, close to UA, and a great spot to unwind! Gloria and Grover were quick to respond to any of our needs. Fabulous hosts!

Lovely and Comfortable Place on the Lake

Beautiful setting! This place was like staying with family or close friends, but with much more privacy. Super comfortable beds, perfect hosts! Gloria was so nice, warm and friendly. This is a GEM!

This is our second stay and it was great. Pastries upon arrival, pool table, tv's with all the movie stations. But the very best part was the beautiful patio overlooking the pristine lake. Spent more time there than I did inside. Again thank you so much for letting us stay!!

Tuscaloosa oasis

My wife and I stayed here while helping our daughter move to a new apt. We both agree that this is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The house and accommodations were great but also loved the patio and lake view in the mornings. Very relaxing and so peaceful. Personal touches like the newspaper and homemade brownies were very much appreciated. We just wish we would have had a little more free time to sit and enjoy it all. Thanks for sharing your home and we will definitely check here first next time we come to Tuscaloosa.

Great place!

Bed & Bama is one of the nicest, most enjoyable places we've ever stayed at. It is a beautiful house and the view is great. It seemed like home everytime we walked in. We normally eat out every meal, but we didn't this time. We bought food to eat and stayed at the house. We took advantage of the grill and had steaks. The house was spotless when we got there. The yard and house is well maintained. The owner is great to work with. I would stay there everytime I visited in Tuscaloosa.

Home away from home

Really enjoyed our extended stay and would gladly recommend this place for anyone going to Tuscaloosa for any reason. It's close enough to everything that you can do all you want without a long trip home, it's very quiet, it's very clean, and the owner is super nice. It really is your place while you're there and that is a great feeling. I'd love a little larger bed, but my wife and I made do quite nicely.

Bed and Bama

WOW, What an amazing place to stay!! We were in town to attend our sons graduation. Just aggravated at myself that I did not discover this beautiful place before during my sons 4 years at the University of Alabama.Gloria was an awesome host and her daughter had brownies waiting for us upon arrival. Definitely a repeater an would be a Fantastic place to stay during Football week-ends. Just take Hargrove to campus which is a short distance to campus. Bama Mom

We stayed at "Bed & Bama" while visiting our son. It was absolutely perfect! The owner was great, very easy to work with. The guest house was exactly what we wanted and allowed us to have a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing trip. We have been to Tuscaloosa at least once every year for several years now and this place allowed us the best quality time together as a family. Everything about the guest house was immaculate. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool table. The lake was beautiful and left you feeling as though you didn't have a care in the world, but yet you were only minutes from campus and all the sites of the town. I will most definitely stay here again!

Wonderful, quiet getaway

We spent Memorial Day weekend at the Bed & Bama after our wedding. It is a wonderful place to stay, so quiet and peaceful, especially after the crazy days we had leading up to staying there! We loved the lake and the fish came right up to us looking for food! The owner is very welcoming and will make you feel like you are right at home. We will definitely be back and refer our friends to Bed & Bama!

A GEM OF A PLACE TO STAY

Having thoroughly enjoyed a couple of nights here in April, I just have to describe it for anyone needing a place to stay in Tuscaloosa for any reason for any length of time. I will begin with a few descriptive words: as clean as one could imagine, as comfortable as home, as inviting from the time you close your car doors, decorated well using a mixture of items, "precious" bathroom for the ladies, ""pooltable" for the guys (and girls), serene, quiet, no other house in sight, loking out five double windows, one sees a manicured lawn leading down to a beautiful lake. I saw fish and I've sure for the one who wants to catch a few, this is possible. I'm sure an early riser might see wildlife. We saw some ducks--they like to be fed so bring some stale bread with you. Pristine is another good word. Owner extremely friendly. Nice porch. Just can't say enough good things about this great place that sleeps two to four.
