The pool was 61 degrees and off when we arrived. Owner sent a tech out several times to replace parts. Finally, on day 4, it was warm enough to swim. It is not a salt pool, but a chlorine pool. Also, hot tub kept tripping a breaker and a repairman had to come for that and to add chlorine to the green hot tub. The towels and linens are old and in need of replacing. What saved the day with this property was the view. We boated several days and enjoyed the deck and the outdoor fire pit. The home could be amazing but it needs a serious upgrade.
The owner is great/very responsive and interested in the group having an enjoyable retreat. The views are spectacular with many opportunities to see wildlife—dolphins, manatees and interesting birds. The outdoor living is fabulous with pool, hot tub, fire pit and lounging area. The rooms are well situated and the beds are very comfortable. We plan to stay again in the future. Great time.
The view from this property is incredible!! The house is only ok but the view makes it worth the trip. We had a few minor problems and the property manager took a few days to reply. The family room is comfy. The master bedroom is large and has a gorgeous view of the sunrise.
Large spacious house with great outdoor living area

Beautiful outdoor area
We had a nice time. We have historically stayed in Sanibel and had to adjust this year. Not a huge Marco Island fan-too commercial, too many high rises, too much traffic. No real island feel. The house was ok but needs a lot of work. Outdoor area was great.
My family and I had an amazing time. Perfect home for families who appreciate nature. The house is nine minutes away from my favorite Tigertail Beach. We enjoyed waking up every morning and watching the dolphins swim around the dock and watching them in the evening. My boys enjoyed fishing and swimming from sun up to sundown. Any other time we’re on vacation we go out to eat daily. The house with so serene we could not get enough of it so we cooked daily. This house is an older well-kept Florida home sitting in the perfect location. Thanks again Karl! We look forward to visiting again.
This house has so much space you can't decide where to sit & everywhere has views of the water! We used the kayaks. We saw the dolphins almost every day! Some awesome birds & iguanas were daily visitors, too! We went to two beaches. There weren't any beach chairs so we bought 3 chairs & an umbrella & donated them to other guests! The pool was great & the beds comfortable. The owner was so nice to arrange early entry for us since our flight arrived earlier than check in time! We would definitely come back!!
Great host- great location. The home exceeded our expectations in all aspects. I would highly recommend this home for a future vacation. Great views from all rooms, clean as could be. Upon my departure, I contacted the host and secured our next family vacation at the home. Thank you again for a wonderful time and look forward to returning. Best always. Ed
Our family of 6 adults stayed for a week over the Xmas holiday. We enjoyed the great space both inside and outside, that the house had to offer. We made use of the hot tub, pool and the kayaks. The The beds were comfortable and while other reviewers commented on the internal style and furnishings as being dated, they were all comfortable and worked in the space.
The location if this house cannot be beaten with views of the water and the islands from all directions. You get the sun rise directly onto the house in the morning. We enjoyed seeing dolphins who seem to fish under the dock, pelicans and Ospreys amongst other birds. I even spotted a seahorse while kayaking. Groceries and restaurants are all a short drive away. Renters should be aware that there is a lot of construction going on in the area, with the property next door being build from the ground up. Though luckily, being the holiday period, little work was underway while we were there.
The location of the property is wow!!...the property could use some care and update. The appliances are old, some light switches are not working, the pool has no light. There is a jacuzzi on the property that does not work and looks like it is being repaired right there which makes a bad look of the patio.
The TV's are modern and work perfect, the size of the bedrooms are good and the beds are comfy.
The size of the property is perfect for 8 people.
We enjoyed our stay in this private home with incredible views and abundant wildlife. We saw dolphins every day, they came right up to the dock! And we had one alligator sighting! The outdoor space is fantastic and that’s where we spent all our time. The neighborhood is great safe and quiet. It was very peaceful and relaxing, whichbis just what all of us needed.
The inside could use a refresh and there was a problem with the ac in the master bedroom which was fixed within two days…but it was only a weekend getaway and a four night stay. Owner was responsive, it was just a shorter stay so a warm couple nights. Overall i would recommend this home because you can't help but relax with that stunning view. Sunrise was so beautiful!
This house was a great place to get away from the noise. Take your own toiletries though and don’t expect much from the grill (only the back burners work) but at least it’s included in the price. Very nice place. I would rent it again and recommend it to others
We chose this location for our family reunion/birthday present to our parents - the house was definitely large enough for the 6 of us. The view, lanai/pool, dock and dock access were great and perfect for the pontoon boat we rented (Gator Rental). It made our trip truly memorable! The house has great structure - the decor is outdated and needs some updating but we didn't let that interfere because of the great location, pool, and access to the waterways which is where we spent the majority of our time.
We really enjoyed our stay on this property. The view was amazing, very relaxing and secluded. We enjoyed fishing on the deck, watching the wildlife from dolphins to manatees and varying birds and swimming in the pool.
Any issues were handled by James and all was well! Thanks for letting us enjoy your amazing property. We hope to be back!

Perfect location just outdated
The location is perfect !! The house needs some updating. The pictures on line is like seeing a pic of a whopper in the commercial but when you get it. It don’t look like the one that is shown in the commercial. The outside pool area and the main dock off of the pool is where we stayed. But the house is in need of some TLC and updates. I wish we would have rented a boat for all week. That way we could of stayed out on the water a lot more. Also the owner’s personal belongings were all through out the home and the garage. The garage was unusable as it is full of a lot of stuff! There was a hot tub not usable looks like it’s been out of commission for a while
Like I said location perfect !! As long as you stayed at the pool deck and dock areas
Large house, plenty of seating and dining inside and outside. Great access from house to outdoors to screened areas and pool. Wrap-around docks with more seating and viewing areas for all the wildlife flying or swimming by. Bathrooms and bedrooms very nice. Manager easy to reach by text.
The location couldn’t be better. We enjoyed watching the kids play in the pool while viewing the intercoastal waterway with dolphins, manatee and more-coming right up to the pier. It was a family trip that we hope to do again.
Very nice house , great for adults and kids , loves the privacy , grilling by the pool, dolphins
The kids want to come back , great vacation ,
