Beautiful quite home with everything that you need..... Owner and manager needs to do alot of simple work to upkeep the property. Was able to communicate with the manager and get most things resolved.Hope they take my suggestions.
The house is in a great location. Close to everything. The view of the canal was nice and the heated pool was nice. The only thing we wished the pool had was a hand rail into the pool. We are over 70 and getting in and out was not easy. They have the TV in a small room that seats 3 people when there is a large room that could accommodate more. The kitchen and dining room were nice and accommodating. There were many light bulbs missing, no propane in the gas grill, the bedroom carpets were dirty and the most uncomfortable were that the closets and dresser drawers were filled with other people’s clothes. I spoke with the manager and she was very nice and sent out an iron that was missing. She also offered to bring brighter light bulbs for our dim bathrooms but we said it wasn’t necessary at the time and just suggested she do it in the future. We feel if some of these things could be updated it would be a beautiful place to stay.
Lovely property and enjoyed our stay. Would have given it an excellent rating except for the fact that there is no rail for entering the pool, thus limiting our use. Also getting hot water to bathroom sinks took an extremely long time, thus wasting a lot of water. Very clean and well stocked. Entertaining view from the lanai over the canal watching pelicans and even dolphins.
The house was is in a great location, easy to get to anything on the Island. Very clean and felt like home. Relaxed out back in the pool. A TV would have been nice in the family room. The office was a bit of a crunch for the 4 of us. The beds were a bit stiff, bit they were manageable. Appliances are nice an updated. Could have used more than 1 trash bag and more than 1 dishwasher tab. However, those are very minor. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend the house to anyone looking for a private place to enjoy and explore the Island.

disappointing and costly part 2
To elaborate on a previous post about an unsafe dock.
The first day I arrived the owner, "Mary" assisted me to try to trouble shoot issues with the dock. She was helpful but her solutions did not resolve the fact that wires under the dock are old, bare, and hanging in the water -some fully encased in heavy oysters and barnacles... clearly the dock had not been examined for some time by the property manager. The exposed wires were so unsafe that the electrician disconnected the whole dock for fear of someone getting electrocuted.
For over a week, my boat had to sit in the salt water... not good for boats. There was major rain that week which prevented the electricians from fixing the issue which should have been diagnosed and dealt with prior to my arrival to ensure the lift I was assured would work, indeed functioned.
Telling Don of my concerns did not go far and he even wrote to me that I apparently had signed a waiver at the time of booking alleviating any mall function of the dock/lift from the owner. Essentially, they never needed to have the lift functioning in the first place with this legal clause, or needed to fix it with this clause!
I left after the first week, got a nicer house for similar cost and had NO issues. Cost me a lot to stay here because of the lift issues and there was no reimbursement.

Very disappointing and costly
I booked the house for just over two weeks, June of 2024. I have rented on Marco for over 30 years, stayed in several houses and in some for well over 5 consecutive years. With that said, I was looking for a change and this house seemed reasonable.
Despite assurance that the boat lift would work for my boat, it did not function and it was not fixed in over a week. I had to pay to have my boat removed and cleaned twice during this first week, and I have long term gelcoat damage as a result of having to leave the boat in the water. The electrician who came to look at the dock said the whole dock was unsafe and therefore disconnected all the wires to the dock.
"Don" should have fixed this problem immediately and should have had it working prior to my arrival. The electrical contractor they called is 24 hrs. service.
2 of the 3 taps on the dock are corroded and not useable. deck boards are loose. My wife nearly fell using the ladder as the board it is attached too is rotted.
The house is dated. Carpets are old and caused allergic issues likely from mold. The pool was unusable until I bought a skimmer to clean it of the 100's of floating dead bugs and the pool people did not appear for over a week. Don the manager totally dropped the ball and if he were my property manager, he would be looking for another job. He was totally negligent in renting an unsafe house.
I got a refund for my second week and booked a much nicer house at a similar price with NO issues.
We absolutely feel in love with Marco Island. This was perfect for the 4 of us. It was easy to move around the island (location wise) and the amenities in the house made us never want to leave.
Thank you for a perfect week in your little piece of heaven
Splendid home. Pristine and completely stocked. Pool lovely and set at 86 degrees. Fished off dock. Near everything on Martco Island. 15-minute drive to Tiger Tail Beach. Plenty of beach/pool chairs and toys. Owner very repsonsive. Loved our three weeks here. Would love to stay again.
This property sits on a beautiful canal. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood and a short drive to the beach. It was comfortable and suited our family fine.
The pool looses water so we added water twice during our weeks stay. Not a big deal but the pool doesn’t heat if the water is below the skimmer.
They have beach chairs in the garage that you could borrow but they are broken/worn out so we bought our own. Bring your own beach towels for the beach as they do not want theirs removed from the home.
Clean and comfortable!
We stayed at this home the last week of June 2022 with our two teenagers. The description of the home is on point. It is well maintained and stocked. The property manager was very responsive and accommodating. We used the beach cart and chairs for a couple of beach days. Poles were available for fishing off the dock, where we also enjoyed dolphin sightings. The pool was perfect for relaxing afternoons.. The grill was handy for burgers, Hot Dogs, and the fish we caught during a chartered tour. The shower in the master has us seriously considering remodeling our own shower to match. Everything on the island is beautiful and conveniently located, and this house is no exception.
The only complaint is that the mattress in the master is uncomfortable and should probably be replaced. The first night or two wasn’t bad, but by the time we left our backs were in bad shape.
The house was amazing. Multiple doors to the back screened in porch made access quick and easy. Very clean and well kept. The dock was nice and large enough to hangout and fish on.
This place spoiled me. :)
Having my breakfast and Latte on the lanai as the sun came up, stunning views, comfy home, master shower amazing, and having pool time in the mornings and late evenings after walking the beach at sunset... this home, I would return to rent anytime. Thank you for such a beautiful place to celebrate a milestone (40 yrs) of marriage.
We have been traveling to Marco Island for years and with our growing family this home was great for us. The location was excellent and centrally located to all stores and attractions. Would definitely stay again.
House was comfortable and had everything you could possibly want for a great vacation. The only drawback, and we knew this going in, there is no table outside to enjoy meals. Perhaps a small bistro table could be placed outdoors.
Quiet neighborhood, beautiful home, well outfitted with appliances, and kitchen accessories. Saw dolphins in canal, easy unobstructed access to the river. Bicycles, bar b q, available for use. Very relaxing atmosphere. Short ride to beach and Mackle park.
We had a fabulous week just relaxing by the pool. The canal view was beautiful! Great location to everything. House was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We would absolutely stay there again.
