Practically brand new coastal home featuring 2beds/2 baths with stunning gulf views. Located in the heart of quaint Horseshoe Beach, one of the last fishing villages that Florida has to offer. Enjoy world class fishing & an amazing scallop season, all while experiencing the slow and quiet pace of Old Florida. As good as the fishing is, there will be times you will not want to leave the perfectly appointed seaside cottage home. The wrap around deck is the perfect location for morning coffee or evening happy hour. The largest bedroom features 2 Queen Beds with an attached bath. The 2nd bedroom also features a queen bed with full bath across the hall. There is a queen sofa sleeper in the great room. Enjoy outside dining while utilizing the gas grill and two xtra large picnic tables. A gas stockpot is provided for shrimp boils. You are welcome to utilize the fish cleaning station and outdoor shower to wash the salt off! The boat ramp is just 75 steps away - there is plenty of Parking for your truck & trailer on our vacant lot next to the home. The freshest shrimp for fishing AND eating is within walking distance at Florida Cracker Shrimp & Bait Co!

The home is well stocked with kitchen items/linens. However, be sure to hit the grocery store before you come as there is no substantial market in Horseshoe Beach, only the necessities at the Marina. The Marina rents Kayaks & Golf Carts for your convenience, and also features a boat lift and gas pumps!

This house is directly on the water with beautiful views. Sunrises from the deck and sunsets just down the street - amazing! The house was furnished with everything we needed - so many thoughtful personal touches. Would definitely love to visit again!

We sure enjoyed staying at your vacation home in Horseshoe. It was quiet, clean, and so lovely. We loved that the boat ramp was only a few houses down, and we could tie our boat up on the dock everyday after fishing. We will definitely be back!

Great private home right on the water

We loved our time here! It’s right on the water with views from every room. The house was decorated beautifully and the owners were very thoughtful; they provided everything needed by way of kitchen and bathroom basics. We also appreciated how incredibly clean the place was. Note that the location is somewhat remote (in a good way) so we made sure to stock up. We loved our time here and we’d love to visit again!

Lovely home on the water!

This was our second year staying in this beautiful home. We are so glad the hurricane spared this little slice of heaven! Everything from the location to the comfort level is perfect. We highly recommend staying here! Hoping that the marina will be open next year, but we just brought gas cans for our boat to cut down on trips to Cross City for gas. It was an easy fix.

Lovely Hidden Gem

This is our family’s 2nd time staying here and it was wonderful. We love the decor inside and out. The beds are super comfortable and it is incredibly clean. The water view cannot be beat. We love sitting and relaxing on their porches above and below. Our boat stayed safe in the water on the dock. The outdoor shower and fish cleaning station came in handy. Horseshoe Beach is a very special place. We met so many wonderful friends while staying and can’t wait to visit again next summer.

Fishing in the back yard.

Very nice place to stay, very clean, up to date, right on the water and we caught , red fish, trout right off the parking deck and private pier in the back of the house. Horseshoe beach would remind you of Mayberry its very laid back, folks are nice and helpful. If you are wanting shopping, golf , bars, restarants this isnt the place but if you are wanting peace and quiet, relaxing and fishing this is your place.

Magnificent Property In Every Way!!

We've stayed in many VRBO properties in this country and others. This one, I believe, is the best. Quiet, impeccably clean, views of an aquatic area.....something that we see very little of at home....are amazing. Sitting on the back deck and watching the antics of the pelicans and dolphins was a real treat. We aren't boaters, but if you are, this is the place to be. Especially if you fish. The village of Horseshoe Beach is incredibly friendly and the property owners are very responsive and helpful. The home is extremely well equipped.....we wanted for nothing. The worst part of our visit was having to leave.

Gorgeous Home Wonderful Location

This home is absolutely perfect! Lots of french doors and windows to let in natural sunlight makes it super cheerful! I love the open floor plan and hardwood flooring is super nice so much better than ceramic tile floors! We had an amazing trip and staying at this home made it even better! If we ever go back for another visit we will book again!

Amazing View

We had a wonderful time with an amazing view of the gulf. We caught the largest shrimp we have ever seen and found plenty of scallops. The house is beautifully furnished and so comfortable. Would definitely recommend this house.

We loved our stay in your beautiful home… we have a large family and with that, your dock was the perfect place together in the evenings after a long day scalloping. The rest of our family stayed directly across the street, which was super convenient also. I can’t pick which was better from the balcony, watching the storms come in or the sunset/rise. Lol All and all thank you for making another yearly tradition perfect. #scalloping2023
