This newly remodeled oceanfront condo located right in the heart of Kailua Kona has everything you need to make your vacation complete. This one bedroom is fully furnished with snorkeling gear, boogie boards and a kitchen that is a chefs delight. A king size bed in the bedroom and a fold out tempurpedic Queen bed in the living room make this condo a vacationers delight.

A lanai that overlooks the bay so you can dine watching the sunsets or enjoy sipping a cup of Kona Coffee while watching dolphins and whales splashing around right in front of you. This unit can be rented with AC at an additional charge of $15 per day, please inquire with a reservation agent.

Conveniently located in the heart downtown Kailua Kona. Explore downtown historic Kailua Kona. The town of Kailua Kona "hides" some very important Hawaii Island historic spots. Both the Hulihee Palace and the Mokuaikaua Church are located on Alii Drive. King Kamehameha I spent his last years living near the current site of the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel until his passing in 1819. The Ahuena Heiau, located on the grounds of the hotel, is a reconstructed temple rebuilt by Kamehameha himself and is on the register of National Historic Landmarks.

Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Kona Pier, with access to Hawaii's best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, dolphin and whale watching. Visit the famous Farmer's Market. Spotlessly clean with spectacular view

Condo was spotless and well laid out with two bathrooms, a large bedroom and large living room/kichen. The view was spectacular! Only issue was the loud road noise which we were ready for when we booked.

Perfect spot to stay in Kona!

This is our second time visiting the Big Island. We stayed further outside of the main part of Kailua Kona last time but this property was in the heart of everything you need. We were able to walk to meals, outings and to explore. The only time we left was to explore other beaches and excursions. The view is amazing, beds were comfortable (even the pull out couch which was a concern for our 3rd guest). We will be back again.

Good location. The unit needs a few safety measures. Security bars in the showers. A wand shower instead of fixed. Plus if renting to a wheelchair user do not have high chairs on the balcony. I missed being able to sit out in the sun.

Gorgeous view

We enjoyed our stay here. The view is gorgeous. Couldn’t ask for a better view. Nice to wake up to. It was a little loud at night but you can’t beat the sound of waves as you wake up. We saw dolphins one morning and that made our day. The place was clean and spacious enough for our family. We loved it and will be back.

Great place to stay

We absolutely loved this condo. It's location within the town is perfect and the view is great. There were several nice touches that made our stay better; A complimentary bag of Kona coffee beans and grinder, a couple different sizes of coolers, beach chairs, Tupperware etc. You won't want to miss a sunset from this balcony.

Our unit was immaculate. Recently remodeled-all new appliances, so clean, tile floor, and air conditioned. Superb view of the ocean, cruise ships, and very close to the Farmers Market. Shopping and restaurants walking distance. KONA ALII VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED.

Love the Kona Ali’i

We had a wonderful stay in 403. Well stocked with kitchen items, available parking, overall pretty quiet, food options available literally right out of the elevators to the building, a/c and fans to help cool the condo, and the view! We saw dolphins and amazing sunsets every night. Our only challenge was the bed was a little soft for us. Other than that, it was great!

Family time in Big Island

This condo is pretty well equiped, very clean, with a lot of space. We enjoyed the beach chairs, umbrella and body surf boards. Ali the basics (soap, shampoo, conditioner, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, etc.) were provided. It's well located, with restaurants in walking distance. There are great beaches near by, the best one we went to at approximately 30 min by car. I would return anytime!

Wonderful Condo

This condo delivers as described and pictured. They have thought of everything. We were so comfortable staying there. The appliances, layout, bathrooms, main shower are great. One thing to note, that has nothing to do with the property owners is the amount of noise from the cars that make so much noice and vibration (think immature car owners that need attention from others). The crashing waves help with this noise level, but often the music overpowers the waves. With that said, the Condo is in a great location.

Can’t beat the location

What a find. In the heart of Kailua Kona. Recently renovated, ocean and pounding waves across the street, beautiful decor, fully equipped kitchen (sharp knives! dull ones are a personal pet peeve), easy walk to restaurants and shops. Address is Kuakini Hwy but building is on Ali Drive, which is heavily trafficked two lane road. 4th floor for this condo so noise is tolerable and you cannot hear it inside w sliders closed.

Beautiful Condo with Spectacular Ocean views

My Husband and I really enjoyed this condo during our 6 night stay in Kona. It was comfortable, well stocked with pots and pans and other cooking items as well as starter tp and paper towels. The showers were perfect - a sign noted it could take time to get the water hot - we always got hot water immediately and the water pressure was perfect. It was nice to turn on the air conditioning after a hot day of touring. This place is close to everything- within walking distance of tasty restaurants and shopping. Easy drive to beaches and other attractions. The sunsets from the balcony were some of the best I've ever seen- it always made the perfect ending to our day.. I highly recommend this condo

First Kona Visit

This condo was clean, updated and well appointed although as with any rental property you will have to provide salt/pepper etc. unless someone else left theirs. We loved having 2 bathrooms as well as the W/D being in the unit. The view is amazing but the street noise was a bit of drawback. Know going in that it is noisy. Some drivers seem to think that the entire island wants to hear their music or mufflers. With that said, you are in the heart of Kona and you can walk every where so that's the tradeoff. We wore earplugs at night and it helped. I would like to mention the water pressure, Wow! We miss the showers! Lol Overall, we would consider staying there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After having some trouble getting into the condo(both numbers given to us were incorrect for the lockbox & door keypad) we were happy to get settled into this lovely unit. It had everything we needed, super clean and was very comfortable! The first day the washer locked and wouldn’t open- it was the weekend but they came first thing Monday after we called to fix it which was much appreciated! The location was fantastic!! We walked to dinner every night and enjoyed the shops. Heavy construction directly out front was a a bit of an eye sore and was really really loud mid day. Our kids enjoyed the pool although it was very cold. Overall a good stay!!

Springtime in downtown Kona 2017

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kona Alii is located next door to Lava Java, coffee house turned real restaurant, located on Alii drive in downtown Kona. A great spot for "anyone" who enjoys fun and great restaurants. 403 is located on the 4th floor and faces the ocean, right on Alii Drive. Walking distance to everything you need. Condo was neat, clean, and was supplied with all amenities you would have at your own home.Closet space was the only part a little lacking. 1 closet only for any "hangup" clothes. This assortment of condos also has an elevator. Saves time & body on move in and move out days. Covered parking helps also from the hot sun.We are coming back next year for another 4 weeks, in April.
