It was just ok!

Came up for a snowmobile trip, picked this place because it was located right on trail. When we arrived there were some issues (water leak in kitchen, non-working kitchen outlets and mouse dropping and urine in a kitchen drawer). VERY slow response when messaging host.

Northern Family Weekend

It was perfect. All amenities needed were available. Two full bathrooms. So many bedrooms! And dining spaces! Large living room. And the water was the perfect temperature to take a dip. We will definitely be saving to book another stay.

Great Place on a Quiet Lake

Comfortable lodging on a remote, very quiet lake. Nice to have a kayak and canoe to get around the lake. Ten minutes from LandoLakes.

Served it's purpose

Opon arrival found 2 dead mice in the house and they were not "fresh". The kitchen very poorly stocked, juice glasses instead of drinking glasses, sink stoppers not present. Very outdated. Walks leading into the house had not been cleaned of snow and ice. When we turned on the water in Kitchen it was brown so we ended of flushing all the sinks and showers. Had to trap and catch a bat that tormented the kids inside the home. internet was excellent.

Comfort and Beauty!

The cabin was SO clean, and had everything we needed and more for our group of four adults and six kids! The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked. Included a kayak, two SUPs, and really nice canoe, and a rowboat! The dock was perfect for swimming off of, and the water was incredibly clean! The kids also loved catching lots of sunfish from the dock! Thanks you for an awesome experience…we just soaked up the peace and quiet, and the natural beauty all around us!

Unique cabin on quiet lake

We always book a cabin that can host two families (8 people total). This place had plenty of space and was really quiet. When we arrived the place was very clean. The living room is separated from the bedrooms which was perfect and made it great for those who wanted to sleep in. Each room has room darkening curtains which is nice as well. As others have mentioned, there isn't a level floor in the place so if you have elderly folks, make sure to be careful. The cabin came with tons of extras which was nice. Two charcoal grills, a canoe, a 2 person kayak, fishing poles, life vests, a "lily pad" swimming pad, and tons of oscillating fans for when it gets warm in the house. The lake is a no-wake/non-motorized lake which makes it extra quiet. Swimming off the dock is pretty nice. Fishing off the dock is excellent for kids. There are even some small mouth bass off the dock (we caught a 4-5lb bass off the dock). Overall great. Vacasa (the management company) has automated messages which were nice. I did try and text them a few times with some questions but never got a response so that is the only real blemish.

Perfect Family Getaway

We loved our stay at Between the Lakes! It was like walking into your Grandparents cabin. Super neat and clean but dated (in a good way) except the beds and linens, they were not dated. Cabin was pet friendly, but you would never know it. Perfect for a family. We would definitely stay again.

Paradise Found - Between the Lakes

Isolating for a year due to being high risk, working in Public Health, children virtual schooling, and moving to Canada, we wanted a last hoorah in Wisconsin before we left. We wanted seclusion, and activities and this property has both. Everything you need in a vacation with all the amenities. Daughter had blister on the back of her ankle due to new sneakers, and we didn't have bandaids, the property did!! From kayak, life jackets, paddles for row boat, and fishing rod, dvds to watch, books to read, or just watching the sun set while enjoying a warm fire. I'm an early morning riser, I drank coffee nestled under a blanket watching the ripples of the water in my backyard whilst watching birds frolicking in the branches of trees. I can not praise this location more. Thank you Vacasa for making this property available for people who don't otherwise have a cabin in a perfect secluded save spot from covid. The cleaning crew of this property should take pride that you're keeping people safe during this unprecended time. Simply amazing and perfect. While our family relaxed, rejuvenated and enjoyed, I took many pictures of our mini vacation and posted to my social media page. There are three people on my friend's list who wanted the contact information for this property! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at this property!! This was a nice, family and dog friendly place. It had sleeping quarters for our five grandkids and four adults. The interior and grounds were well organized and clean. We needed a replacement coffee pot, and one was provided very quickly. The place will eventually need some new flooring, especially in the main area. This place is very adequate for a large family, and would be a good year-round rental for hunters, fishermen, and the atv/snowmobile crowd.

Mouse poop on the counters every morning, half the light switches have shorts in them, gutters leak everywhere, severely needs to be updated. If these issues were solved it would be a great place to stay. Do not expect company to get back to you on message board in Vrbo app. Very private and quiet area with amazing views. Would easily give 5 stars if we didn’t have above issues.
