About this property
Nomadic family's experience
Boutique ger
The Capital city of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, covers an area of about 150,000 hectares stretched along the Tuul River and is surrounded by beautiful mountains. One of the closest and major tourist destinations in the Khustai National Park and recreational area. This is the only place where you can see the Takhi or Prejevalsky wild horses, which were discovered and went to extinct at the end of the 19th century in Mongolia, and have been recently reintroduced to Mongolia in the Khustai Mountains. There are many nomadic families live by the Tuul Riverbank and has several historical sites and monuments. We have having to work together a couple of families for arranging boutique ger. While you experience an authentic Mongolian nomadic lifestyle, you also provide additional income for them through your trip. Here, you will stay boutique ger. Staying alongside a family is probably to be one of the most remarkable parts of your trip. During a stay in Boutique ger, you would love to play Mongolian Traditional game called anklebone.
Foods: Cooks at the nomadic family will be simple and authentic Mongolian dishes. Here, you will have dairy products which include dried curd, a thick layer of cream, Mongolian butter, and yogurt.
Drinks: Once in a nomadic family, it is the first thing you’ll be proposed salted milk tea. Salted milk tea is made with cow milk mixed with water and black tea leaves. It’s lightly salted.
Space: Our ger (yurt) has upgraded facilities such as seated toilet and outdoor solar shower (outside of the ger). You can have full rest on our western standard nice and soft mattress bed in the naturally air-conditioned yurt. Also, we serve quality coffee, tea, and meals by pre-order. You can order either Mongolian or Western meals prepared by fresh and organic veggies and meat.
Guest access: Outside of your ger (yurt) there is endless space you could use. You can run or exercise wherever you want. You can make campfire outside your ger and have a party.
Other things to note: You will be staying in the middle of the steppe and near the river. There will be no other accommodation or people nearby in 1-2 miles. Only sheep, goats, horses, and cows will come closer to your ger (yurt). You can enjoy nature and quietness. Best opportunity to release your stress and meditate yourself.
