Pasiega cabin in Las butch - Espinosa - Burgos

Mountain refuge located in idyllic landscape surrounded by meadows and forests in the valleys pasiegos de Burgos. A 1 h. Bilbao and 1 h. Santander. It has porch, fireplace, outdoor picnic table type. 1 km from the waterfall of Guarguero, on the slopes of Castro Valnera. Do not expect luxuries.

A haven of peace and quiet and relax. The house is alone, the nearest inhabited hut is 250 meters away, the access road ends in the cabin so no one passes through there. There is a village with 2 bars within 5 km. Espinosa de los Monteros is 13 km away (town with supermarkets, restaurants, banks, medical service, etc).

The cottage is rented out, it is not shared with the owners or with other guests.

It is a mountain refuge, it has been reformed and refurbished a few years ago, but do not expect the luxuries of a hotel.

Urige Hütte in herrlicher Landschaft

Séjour inoubliable, dans un lieu magnifique et insolite. L'endroit est très calme, le paysage est splendide et offre de belles possibilités de promenades ou de randonnées. Amazing location, Amazing property

What an incredible stay we have had at this wonderful property. The location is incredible, so quiet, amazing views and stunning wildlife make this place worth a visit even without the great villages and sights to visit nearby. San Sebastian 2 hours away is beautiful and great fun, Bilbao an hour away is a really interesting and intriguing city. The mountains are great for walking, even with a 7 and 4 year old we had a good trek and some wonderful views. Espinosa about 10 minutes away is a lovely town and the market there was superb, we ended up with half a kilo or a kilo of everything as our Spanish was not up to scratch but really great to feel part of Spanish rural culture. We were also lucky enough to be around for the festival Las Nieves in the local village Las Machorras, again it was fantastic to be a part of local Spanish culture and amazing to see such a large event take place in such a tiny village, they really went to town! As for the property itself, we fell in love with it. Well equipped and with everything you need for a family of four. The evenings were a little chilly so the huge wood burning stove was put to good use on a couple of occasions and added to the enjoyment! Borja has been fantastic with information and ideas leading up to our stay and the arrival and departure were so easy it was fantastic to start and end our stay as we did. We can't recommend this place highly enough if you want to really get away from it all!

Great getaway from crazy city life!

The cottage and landscape are beautiful and peaceful. Just the sounds of cow bells, eagles and birds. The fireplace kept us warm on cold nights and lots of chairs and seating to lounge in on warm sunny days. Owners are lovely and helpful. Just enough amenities to enjoy your stay comfortably. Only downfall was the gas tank running out on the hot water during a shower. Had to swap it with the one in the heater. Would definitely stay again!
