We had a wonderful long weekend at the barn in Manchester. The location is very convenient and right in the heart of town. The barn itself is amazingly renovated and well appointed. We will be back this summer!
We had a wonderful stay at this charming barn! The decor was absolutely adorable and gave the space so much character—it felt both cozy and stylish. The thoughtful details, like the toys for the kids and the fully stocked kitchen, made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful escape while still being conveniently close to everything we needed. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of care into creating a special experience, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend.
This luxury property situated directly in town is a hidden gem. There are 3 levels of living so ideal if you need to have some privacy from the other guests in your house. The top floor has a beautiful master bedroom with sitting area and bathroom, stocked with epsom salt and a huge tub that you actually want to soak in because this entire property is meticulously clean. Second floor has another bathroom and shower along with a living room with a pull out couch that my 15 year old daughter said was more omfrtabe than her bed at home....bottom floor has a full kitchen and living area which is stocked with every pot and pan you will need, but isn't overcrowded. They even have olive oil and balsamic vinegar if you want to go next door to the Italian market to grab some fresh bread....There is a beautiful patio overlooking a nearby creek. Would absolutely stay here over and over again.
The location is fabulous and the home is even better. Beautiful home with obvious care taken to ensure you have everything needed for your stay!!! Highly recommend!!
The best location ever. Super walkable and surrounded by outlet shops, restaurants and more. Stunning decor and elegant comfort. Highly recommend and the babbling battenkill brook and fire pit just perfectly Vermont.
The location is amazing! The property is extremely clean, very comfortable and the host has thought of every last deal to make the stay enjoyable. Highly recommend.
The Barn on Main is conveniently located in the center of Manchester, next to several great restaurants and stores. Only 25 min to Stratton and 15 to Bromley. The house is darling, modern and well appointed with everything you need. Bed is super comfortable, family room cozy, kitchen had all tools you need. It also looks out onto a river and has a great back patio. Bonus: high speed EV charging across the street. We truly enjoyed our stay!
The Barn on Main is light and bright and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped - everything you need. It's right in downtown Manchester, but still very quiet, with a lovely view of the Battenkill from the rear windows and patio.
This place is amazing. I want to be selfish and not share with others, but truly a wonderful stay for a VT getaway. Melina and Mike were very responsive and wonderful hosts. We will be back.
We were in Manchester during foliage season for a hiking trip in Vermont. The place was nicely appointed. We were greeted with a beautiful flower arrangement in front entry way and delicious snacks. Location was perfect in the center of town. We visit Manchester a few times an year and plan to stay here again. This was a perfect find.
The home is in a great location. There is a parking spot right out front with easy access to the home. Inside, there are three nicely laid-out levels with two very-clean and tasteful bathrooms. The basement level kitchen-dining/living area is comfortable and looks out over the back yard. Definitely will stay here again.
This is our second trip to the Barn on Main and I can’t wait for the third! This renovated barn is picture perfect. Beautifully decorated, well stocked, spotless clean and the most amazing location right on Main St. in downtown Manchester. Mike and Melina are responsive and friendly - we love this place!
What a beautiful house! From the stunning design to the little touches like fresh flowers from the backyard, everything was perfect. The location can't be beat, either, with the property downtown and in walking distance of many different shops. (Do note that if you have trouble with stairs, this property is three stories so you'll be walking up and down the stairs often.) BEST VRBO I've ever stayed at.
The house is beautifully decorated and has every convenience needed. Great location for walking in Manchester for shopping and dining. Close enough for Bennington College visits too.
My husband and I stayed at the Barn on Main to celebrate our birthdays. Our stay was perfect and the Barn and its location exceeded our expectations. The Barn has 3 levels and is beautifully decorated. It was fully stocked and all of our needs were anticipated. The owner left treats including birthday cupcakes. When inside, you feel like you are in a beautiful secluded area and we watched the snow fall out back through the full back windows on the lower level. When you go out the front door, you are right on main street with an Italian market, artisan’scoop, bookstore and other unique and boutique stores. We are already trying to plan our next visit! The owner were extremely responsive!
In the heart of Manchester village, close to everything. When you go inside, you’re away from it all with views of the river and woods out the big back windows. Spa-like surroundings include fresh flowers and bath salts. Simply perfect.
