Casa Zunum is a newly restored colonial house in Merida’s Centro. It has a perfect blend of old colonial charm and modern amenities and perfect location to explore the Centro district and Old Town of Merida as well as the pyramids and archeological sites. The house is in walking distance from many different shops, restaurants and bars like famous La Negrita, Santa Lucia park, a charming old world style plaza and park with trees and benches, Mercado Santiago and Mercado 60, Zocalo, Paseo Montejo.
The name "Zunum" has its origin in Mayan "x ts’unu’um", which means "Colibri", a usual guest in our garden in the early mornings. We hope you will enjoy your stay at Casa Zunum as much as the Colibri does.

The pool is not heated but has a perfect temperature for cooling off and re-energize in the afternoon after a long day of exploring in the tropical, humid Merida’s climate.
There is a washer / dryer at your disposal.
Please note, that electricity is charged separately. The meter will be read at your arrival & departure to determine the electricity usage during your stay. The applicable rate is 3,5 MXN per kWh.
Cleaning of the pool on weekly basis is included. Prices for all specialty service (e.g. weekly/daily cleaning) shall be quoted separately at the time of the guest's request.
Our terrific manager will welcome you and help to get you orientated with the house and the neighborhood. Our comprehensive manual has many recommendations for places worth seeing. Guests will also have 24/7 open communication with hosts if anything is needed via phone or messenger.
Guests have full access to entire property except roof.
Taxis in Merida are safe, Uber / Didi is also a very good alternative.
