We are one of Islamorada's limited number of licensed weekly vacation homes, VR #25-0258 (State License #DWE5404378).

Angler's Reef is Islamorada's premier resort community located at MM85 (on the Ocean side) in the heart of the Florida Keys. Islamorada is known as the SportFishing Capital of the World. Our boutique gated community is made up of 52 luxury waterfront villas, inspired by Native Conch and British West Indies architecture, accompanied by a boat basin with 36 slips, a large heated pool, two sandy beaches, and quiet palm tree-lined streets. Quick boat ride or short kayak ride over to the world famous Islamorada Sandbar for fun in the sun or the Alligator Reef Lighthouse for snorkeling!

Islamorada is known as the Sport Fishing Capital of the World. The Gulfstream flows past the Florida Keys from 10-20 miles offshore and brings seasonal visitors like mahi, tuna, wahoo, dolphin, sailfish and marlin close enough to shore for small-boat fishermen. Tarpon and bonefish are also plentiful in the backcountry. There are plenty of captains that will provide day-trips for you if you are not bringing a boat along on vacation. Also, boat rentals are definitely available, if you'd rather be your own captain for the week (or two).

The home's boat slip (with electric and water) fits a vessel up to 31 ft. (max ht of 9 ft) and is available for an additional cost of $500+/week. Deep channel out to the Atlantic. The neighborhood of Anglers Reef has stand-up-paddle boards and kayaks for use by renters. A Kayak waiver will be required in order to take advantage of these during your stay.

Water sports include diving, snorkeling, parasailing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding and more. Fine dining close by includes Ziggie & Mad Dogs, Chef Michael's, Morada Bay, Cheeca Lodge along with fun spots like Hog Heaven and Robbie's (to feed the tarpon). Bayside Gourmet is just down the road. It is #1 on Trip Advisor and a must-do for a wonderful meal! There is a Publix grocery just 1 mile south of Anglers Reef.

Theatre of The Sea (for dolphin and sea lion shows and interactive exhibits) is located nearby. Marathon is just a short ride down the Overseas Highway where you can visit the Dolphin Research Center and The Turtle Hospital for fun activities for adults and kids alike.

Three state parks that are worth a visit are close-by as well:
John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park
Bahia Honda State Park
Long Key State Park

Key West is less than two hours away. Definitely worth the drive!

Enjoy the expansive views and ocean breezes from the porches/balconies on the first and second stories. Upgraded Chef's kitchen with top of the line appliances, granite counters, and eat at bar. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes and appliances. Weber gas grill outside.

On the second floor, there are two suites which will sleep 6 comfortably.
The Master Suite has a king bed, private bath and amazing porch with ocean views.
The Guest Suite has 2 queen beds with private bath.
Washer/Dryer upstairs.

Linens, bath towels and beach towels are all provided and replaced often. We have lots of puzzles and games available.

Boat Trailer Storage is available close by. Ask owner for details.

Cable and WIFI included.

Two available covered parking spaces.

Rentals are Saturday-Saturday. Exceptions please inquire with owner.

Beautiful, quiet and clean!

So many properties within anglers reef are in need of TLC. This one however, is very clean and very well maintained. We did NOT have road noise from US1, which another huge perk. Communication was clear and prompt with the owner. Such a lovely property to enjoy while in the keys! Would love to borrow this home again!

Nice quiet stay in Islamorada

Great location in Islamorada. Complex overall was very quiet. Pool area was very nice but a bit short on loungers in the afternoon. Two small beach areas provided an option in place of the pool which was nice to have. Unit was clean and well furnished. Spacious living, and bedrooms. Some view of the water from the front patio seating. Having the boat dock near our unit was a nice and area seemed secure. Covered parking was a plus. Overall a good choice for our stay. We will come back for another stay at Anglers Reef.

Property owner was awesome at communicating with us. We were pleasantly surprised how immaculate the house was. The whole experience from booking, asking questions, checking in and checking out was top notch! The owner even checked with us during our stay to make sure all was well. The house was so welcoming, it felt like home. The whole community was stunning and very peaceful. This was truly our best VRBO experience ever!!

Peaceful paradise!

We had an amazing week at this property! The home is beautiful, clean, well maintained and well stocked. The host was very easy to communicate with. The gated community is very clean and quiet. The location was perfect for us, a short drive to many restaurants and activities we wanted to do, and an easy day trip down to Key West. We will definitely look to return!

Perfect Winter Escape!

Wow! This home was a wonderful surprise! Nicely decorated, extremely comfortable with a well-appointed kitchen. Beautiful view of the water from the lower and upper porches. Communication with the host was excellent. The Angler Reef property is very well maintained. We enjoyed both the pool and beach area. Good central location in Islamorada. We will definitely return!

Great choice for Islomorado!

Enjoyed this place for many reasons. Clean, comfortable, well furnished, great communication with hostess, and safe feeling neighborhood. Nice porches for relaxing outside in addition to (uncrowded pool and beach). It should be noted that cable TV is not provided, but I used my own Youtube TV account so it wasn't a problem for me.

Wonderful week in the Keys! The villa was amazing! Beautifully decorated and so spacious. The community was nice and the kids always had something to do. We loved having access to the kayaks and paddle boards. Juli was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Perfect family vacation.

First time at Angler's Reef!

We had an absolute blast staying in Angler's Reef. The small gated community was clean, quiet and we felt very safe at all times. The pool was never overcrowded and the kids had a blast! We fished right there in the community and caught snapper and other fish which the kids really enjoyed. Juli (the owner) was amazing and accessible at all times. The home itself was very clean and great size for our family and even had board games that we played daily. We will be back and I highly recommend this home to anyone interested in staying in Islamorada!

AMAZING property and Host! Perfect!

Juli was an amazing host. She has thought of everything and was very helpful suggesting restaurants, boat rentals, and places to see! My family of four (my husband and I) and our two teenage daughters (14 & 16) loved it as well. It felt like home. The property was immaculate, with so many extras. Even the local art work throughout the home was perfect. All the beds were comfortable, sheets and towels were in great condition. The property also had a cubby with tons of beach towels to use at the pool or out on the boat. Beach towels were definitely an added bonus! Kitchen was stocked with nice pots and pans in excellent condition. The location was great and easy to get to just about everywhere. We visited Key West, the turtle hospital, spent everyday on the water snorkeling fishing and visiting the famous hang out spot “the sandbar.” We would HIGHLY recommend this property. It was WONDERFUL! Thank you for making our 25th wedding anniversary so special!

A week in paradise

The family loved everything about our stay at 137 Angler's Reef. The house was just as pictured/described, and beautifully decorated in a nautical theme befitting the area. Covered parking was much appreciated in the hot FL sun, and we loved spending time on the well-appointed decks. The community was great as well with every detail meticulously cared for, such as the grounds, the pool area and the beach. The kayaks were easy to use, and we enjoyed sunsets everyday on the beach. The location was nice as well, just outside the hustle/bustle, but only a few miles to everything. Finally, dealing with Juli was a breeze; very prompt, friendly, and helpful for the few minor questions we had. Highly recommended, and would definitely stay again.

Our stay here was perfect. Loved the quiet atmosphere and the house was immaculate and perfect for our family. Anglers Reef Stay

This property delivered in every way. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and well-appointed. Fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds among many other attributes. The development is located within walking distance to restaurants, and a short drive to marinas and grocery stores. The area with the heated pool has a beautiful view and we utilized th boat slip as well. The host was responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. We hope to come again!

Fantastic !

A peaceful paradise - amazing clear water, fishing, boating, sand bar, snorkeling surrounded by beautiful nature and friendly sincere folks. Great food if you come down I recommend dining at the Square Grouper great fish! My Host Juliann, was amazing so helpful and always available to answer any question we had she made my family feel so comfortable like we were staying at our family's home. I was lucky to get some boating help from friends of Julianna that also live at Anglers Reef thanks again Donnie much appreciated!

We are a family of five from Chapin, South Carolina. We live on Lake Murray, but we truly love the salt water. For years, we visited the beautiful SC beaches, but one summer we ventured down to The Keys and we were hooked. Islamorada is truly like paradise, with its aqua waters, world-class fishing, perfect year-round weather and something to do for everyone. We snorkel, fish, paddle board, enjoy the pool, and most of all just love the beauty of the Florida Keys. We know you will too!!

Why they chose this property

Our home, located in Anglers Reef, is in a perfect location. A gated community with a heated pool and boat slips on the property, we stayed here for several years before purchasing our home. Anglers Reef is so convenient for water activities plus close to grocery and restaurants which makes for a relaxing place to vacation.

Our home is one of the interior homes within Anglers Reef and that means there is NO ROAD NOISE from Overseas Hwy. There is one row of houses between our home and the pool/Atlantic Ocean. Very quiet and secluded for excellent sleeping, but you can still see the turquoise water from our 1st and 2nd floor porches.

What makes this property unique

Properties in Anglers Reef offer everything you could need for a wonderful vacation in the Florida Keys. Located right on the Atlantic Ocean with boat slips that have deep channel access, you can easily get to the sandbar or the lighthouse in no time! For anglers, it is a straight shot out past the reef to great fishing locales within 30 minutes. A heated pool and beautiful grounds make it a perfect destination.
