The town of Salon-de-Provence is ideally located to visit the main tourist attractions of Provence. It has a central location, between the cities of Aix-en-Provence, Arles, Avignon and Marseille, and just a stone\'s throw from the regional natural parks of Provence (the Calanques, the Alpilles, the Camargue and the Luberon).

Salon-de-Provence is a magnificent town, rich in heritage and small local shops. The oldest part of the town is located on a small hill overlooking the pedestrian streets, where the Château de l\'Empéri, the former residence of the Archbishops of Arles, stands.

You can also discover the Clock Gate, the Moussue Fountain or the St Michel Church. You will also find the famous Marius Fabre soap factory.

Salon-de-Provence is also known for the French Air Force aerobatic team, based not far from the town. On certain days of the week, you can see the superb acrobatics of the French Air Force pilots in the skies, in the beautiful colours of the flag.

Many events are also offered in the town centre throughout the year, in a jovial atmosphere (concerts, plays, street entertainment for children and adults, etc.).
