Our stay was nothing short of amazing! We stayed one night to attend a concert at Penn State and the views were stunning. Everything was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Can't wait to stay again for a longer getaway.

Peaceful & Quiet Getaway

Booked this beautiful home for our daughters basketball tournament at Penn State which sports parents all know can be a very chaotic weekend of always being on the go so it was so nice to escape that environment and come back to such a quiet & peaceful place and decompress each night! The kids had a blast in the basement & loft & the house was stocked with everything we needed! Just was very easy to communicate with & would rebook in a heartbeat!

Great place for family gathering

Really enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the property and its location. We attended Winter Jam on PSU campus and appreciated the close proximity. Very helpful to have the necessities provided— enabled us to travel lighter

Blue Haven

We stayed at Blue Haven for the last Penn State football game of the season. The location was perfect, a quick drive away from campus. Communication with the host was great, quick to reply to any questions. The house is beautiful and incredibly well appointed, with many thoughtful touches. It is spacious and well furnished. The basement is incredible, sadly we were there on a freezing cold day but it would be an amazing place to host a summer event. We definitely hope to stay there again!

Perfect place to stay for PSU game weekend

We have stayed at The Haven once before, and we were so excited to come back! Everything was just as clean and accommodating as the first time. Convenient to get to campus, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle and in a private, wooded setting. Glynn is such a wonderful host!

Beautiful Home

We spent one night and could have easily spent a week! Glynn was wonderful to work with. He answered all our questions and I especially loved his welcome letter with all the information we needed. The house was spotless and very well appointed. The house was situated out of the hustle and bustle on a beautifully wooded lot. The king bed on the main level was super comfy. There were plenty of towels and the closets are set up perfect for a rental. We will definitely be staying at Glynn's place again!

Getting away from it all

We loved our short time at the Haven. Everything was perfect--I wish we had more time to relax there. Plenty of room and all the amenities you could want. If this location is where you'll be, you can't go wrong with the Haven.

Beautiful home!

Our stay at the Haven was perfect. Glynn was an amazing host. The house was spotless, everything was top quality, furniture, beds, kitchen wares, linens. The lower-level game room was impressive and provided great space for our family. The cooks' kitchen was over stocked (you have to see it to believe it). Wish we booked another night.

Beautiful home and highly recommended

Came to the area for a night to see a show at Penn state. Very quick ride from the house to the down town area. Loves the house and wish we had planned for more friends to come with us. Spacious rooms and comforts many other rental homes over look.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect weekend getaway that was just what my family and I needed! The cozy house and beautiful surroundings made the stay top-notch. Glynn has thought of every detail in the amenities available in this property. She was also willing to be flexible with our check-out time, which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend this property and will be doing so to all of my out-of-town friends and family. I will also be booking again! Can’t wait to go back to The Haven!

Secluded getaway but close to Happy Valley

My family & friends stayed here this weekend for my niece's wedding which was held just 3 miles away. The house is surrounded by woods and just beautiful. If we were Penn State fans, this would be the perfect place to tailgate. The downstairs section has a full kitchen (even bigger than the upstairs kitchen) with crockpots and serving dishes. Extra chairs to fit around the fire pit and several tables are available. The upstairs is beautifully furnished, the beds comfortable, and lots of little extras (like dental floss and toothpaste in the bathroom). Hosts were very responsive. I'd definitely consider renting again. Only two negatives - the road getting to the place becomes gravel and is VERY DARK after nightfall. You are on it for a few miles and it's very remote. Due to the remoteness, there isn't WIFI and you need to rely on a hotspot setup. Not a deal breaker but I wasn't aware before booking.

Comfortable Home Away From Home

We stayed here when our son graduated from PSU. Great home but a bit far from campus. Home was immaculate and exceeded all our expectations. Owner was communicative and accommodating. We appreciate the effort to make us. I highly recommend this home!
