Relax & Refresh while enjoying the Simple Life of Amish Country - A Safe Haven

Come relax in our private 2 bedroom ,full bath retreat . The apartment is located on the lower level of our home and has a private keyless entrance so you can come and go as you please. It includes an equipped kitchen and living room with attention to detail to make sure you are able to relax. Being in the middle of Amish country, you will find quaint farms and Amish-made items all around and we are located close to Grove City Outlets where you can enjoy tax free shopping. We are only a mile from downtown New Wilmington which includes Westminster college, churches, restaurants, banks, shopping, salons, winery/ brewery & coffee shop. It's the perfect mix of modern amenities in the middle of the simple life.
Health and sanitation is very important to us, therefore we do our best to make sure you not only feel comfortable but more importantly, safe as you travel. We have recently upgraded a special HEPA type device onto our new heating /cooling system that will filter any germs traveling throughout the whole house.

Wonderful Place

Great accommodations, delightful host

Tastefully decorated suite, two bedrooms with comfortable beds, well-appointed bathroom, living/dining room, and kitchen. Most important to me, the coffee was easy to find and fix. Beautiful view of surrounding farmland. This is a very interesting area, Amish country. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A Cozy Haven

The property was gorgeous and so cozy! We can with 4 children aged 9 and under to visit family in the area. This proved to be a perfect haven each evening away from the busyness of our days. And Patti was amazing, anticipating our needs all along the way.

Beautiful place & great stay!

On a road trip from New Jersey to Wisconsin, this was a perfect place to stay for a night (and wish we could have stayed longer). Very clean, friendly hosts, and beautiful local area. Highly recommend!

Delightful experience!

This location seemed perfect. The hosts have thought of just about everything you might need. Not only are all needs provided, but the space is imaginatively and attractively decorated. The beds and other furniture are comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, yet close to town. I will definitely return, if I return to the area.

Excellent Hostess….great location

The property we stayed at was very well laid out, and well furnished with excellent accessories. Hostess Patti was very attentive to all our needs, and very responsive to our questions. The location of the property is within 1 mile of new Wilmington, and in the middle of Amish country. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and would return without hesitation.

Heavenly retreat!

The host was so accommodating and friendly, she made us feel more like family than "visitors". Always available to answer questions through the entire process. The apartment was cozy, quiet and a perfect place to rest. The bedrooms were so comfortable! We had everything we needed in the kitchen, dining room and living room to keep us happy. Games, smart TV, fireplace. It was an easy drive to stores, restaurants and events. Check in and check out was simple. I would, and I will return for sure!

Was n town for a family reunion and rather than hotel, we stayed here. We were very happy with the cleanliness and condition of the unit. The area was off the beat and path but close to everything including being in the center of Amish Country. Communication with the host was awesome, she checked in daily on us. if you are looking for an extremely quiet neighborhood away from everything but close enough, this is the place for sure.

Our stay at this property was absolutely exceptional! The cleanliness and maintenance were impeccable, reflecting the owners' evident pride and care. Perfect Amish getaway location

The location of this rental was just outside town, with Amish neighbors just down the road. Lots of Amish businesses to visit! Also not too far from the outlet mall in Grove City! And 2 beautiful state parks nearby to go hiking! Our host was thoughtful and made great suggestions of things to do! Loved our stay!

A charming daylights basement apartment

Joe and Patti are very friendly, welcome us to their semi-basement apartment. Both bedrooms have big windows with garden view and daylights. Rooms are clean, and comfortable like a home away from home.

Beautiful little apartment with comfortable amenities. Patti and Joey are great hosts and very accommodating. The setting is serene and pastoral, and we so enjoyed the evenings on the porch, overlooking the barley field with its attendant bits of wildlife. Wonderful, abundant fireflies in the evenings brought back memories of my childhood in PA. This setting and the simple Amish agrarian life all around the area made for a pleasant stay! Touring our childhood home

Our first VRBO experience will not be our last. Rather than do our usual check-in-to-a-local-motel routine, we elected the VRBO route and have no regrets. The property was lovely, the hosts were always reachable, and the location was just what we wanted... a quiet cul de sac, farmland, small-town ambience, and lots of local attractions that we had never "toured" when growing up in the same county.
