Robbie's Barn offers two bedroom, dog friendly,self catering holiday accommodation in Fulready, South Warwickshire, England within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswolds.
There is ample off-road parking adjacent to the cottage.

The Accommodation

The holiday cottage is a recently renovated single storey, 2 bedroom, stone and timber barn and offers guests a taste of eco-living with solar panels and ground source underfloor heating and hot water.

The living room has a beamed ceiling and wood burning stove (logs provided free of charge). It is simply furnished with two comfy sofas and a coffee table. A drawer unit contains a few family games and there is a TV with freeview and a DVD player and a shelf full of books for those quiet times indoors.
Double doors lead out on to a private patio area with table and chairs.
Robbies Barn sleeps 4
There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin. The beds are made up ready for your stay with duvets and cotton bed linen.
The kitchen is well equipped including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a dining area.
The bathroom has a full sized bath with shower over.

Guests with Limited Mobility

Robbie's Barn is single storey and level throughout making it suitable for those with limited mobility. Wheelchairs can gain access, although assistance over thresholds may be required and the gravel in the parking area may prove problematic!
Electrical sockets and light switches are within the heights recommended as suitable for people with disabilities.

Safety

The cottage is recently renovated and means of escape are in compliance with current building regulations. There are hard wired smoke alarms in the living areas and an interlinked heat detector in the kitchen.

A dry powder fire extinguisher is provided in the kitchen as well as a fire blanket by the hob.

Care should be taken with the wood burner. Please leave it with the doors closed.

Outside Area
The property is within the grounds of the owners home. The grounds extend to about seven acres of pasture with a large attractive pond and a small flock of shetland sheep.
Guests are invited to enjoy the grounds during their stay but are advised that children should not be left unattended around the pond.

Just Fabulous
Communication with host prior to arrival was very useful and informative. On arrival the property was ready, spotlessly clean and exactly as expected. There was everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The beds and bedding were really comfortable and we all slept well. The welcome goodies were delicious and much appreciated. Highly recommended and we will definitely visit again.

Amazing !
We loved our stay at Robbie’ Barn. Debbie was very welcoming and we had lovely fresh bread, eggs and homemade cookies on arrival which was a lovely touch. The barn was very clean, and had everything we needed for a family of 4. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed our cosy nights in with the fire lit. We even found a new board game to play which was fun! The location of the barn was perfect amongst the beautiful countryside with plenty of room to walk our dog on a lead in the field opposite ( though we ran out of time for this). In close proximity to Stratford upon Avon and Shipston On Stour. We have left feeling relaxed and happy after our short break and would definitely like to return in the future. Thank you!

Mini Barn Stay
We spent 2 nights at Robbies Barn in Fulready. A lovely area just the other side of Stratford-upon-Avon. This two-bedroomed barn is stylishly decorated, and was just big enough for our family for the time needed. The wood burning stove was a huge hit for us while here. For those looking at this place for work accommodation, the WiFi was dodgy in signal strength - so be aware of that, but the place is great to stay. The owners Debbie and Robbie live adjacent to the barn, so readily at hand if anything needed, and very friendly indeed. There is many things to do in the area, visiting Stratford which is less than 20 min away. Compton Verney is also a lovely venue for a day/half day out. Warwick Town also within 30 min. Really lots of places to explore in the vicinity. Best Bonus of all.... unbelievably dog friendly. Would recommend and certainly stay again if in the area.

Lovely week in Stratford-upon-Avon
Robbie's Barn is a lovely barn conversion, equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The delicious home made bread and cookies on arrival were much appreciated as were the fresh eggs and milk. Also fresh flowers in the rooms were lovely. This is a very dog friendly place to stay, unfortunately due to the very hot weather we were not able to try the dog agility training session with Roger. The owners provide throws so dogs can sit with you on the sofas if you want them to. The outside patio area is secure and safe for dogs. This is a perfect location for exploring the surrounding areas, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Cotswolds. We all had a lovely stay and would recommend this holiday accommodation.

Perfect place!
What a great find, just what we were looking for. Robbie's Barn is situated in a small Hamlet surrounded by fields. We wanted somewhere we could just go walking with our dog, and found it! Debbie and Roger couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, lovely people. The barn has everything that you could need for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful place to go to. Our dog joined in with a dog agility class that Roger runs at the property, fun to watch even if you don't have a dog! All in all we had a very nice week at the barn. Thank you, Debbie and Roger.

Cosy weekend retreat.
We had the most amazing stay at Robbies Barn. When we arrived there was some fresh eggs, milk, bread and homemade cookies left for us. The barn itself is charming and Debbie the host has thought of everything so it’s really home from home. The hosts relaxed attitude to dogs was fabulous and we didn’t have to worry about them being on the sofas as throws were provided. The welcome folder has a special section regarding your dogs and you are re-assured that everything is dog friendly. Brilliant and thoughtful as responsible dog owners we wanted to relax. The barn is beautifully clean and it really does have an eco feel. The log burner is fantastic and adds to the cosiness. We loved it so much we hope to return later in the year with our daughters. Thank you so much Debbie! We will see you again very soon.

Lovley property
Lovley property, in great location for exploring the cotswolds. Property very well maintained with lots of items to help make your stay enjoyable. Owners very nice and provided some nice extra touches such as milk, eggs, bread etc. We had a great week with our dog and would recommend this property to anyone wanting a break in the area. And the pubs in the area are fantastic with many to choose from.

Beautiful Property and location.
We stayed at Robbie’s Barn for a Christmas break and it could not have gone better. The accommodation was perfect. Clean, cosy and very comfortable. It was so well equipped that it was a home from home. The dogs were made to feel welcome and Debbie was always on hand to answer our questions. When we visit the Cotswolds again this will be out first choice of somewhere to stay.

Hi! My name is Debbie and I grew up in the beautiful Cotswold town of Chipping Campden, just 10 miles away. I still work at the secondary school there 4 days a week. My husband is also a local lad and had (now retired) a long-established retail business in the local market town of Shipston-on-Stour. We also love dogs, having four of our own, and have made Robbies Barn dog friendly, so feel free to bring your well behaved furry friends along too!

Why they chose this property

I've lived in the area since I was a small child and love it. My husband and I moved to our current address in 2009 and converted a redundant farm building across the yard from our house into our ideal holiday cottage, the sort of place we'd be happy to stay in. We'd like to share our new home with others and invite you to come and enjoy the holiday cottage we've created.
