Falling Leaf Cabin - a true cabin in the woods in a private setting
The cabin has vaulted ceilings with awesome wood decorated nicely with black bears and falling leaves with the colors of autumn. The cool mountain air will greet you as you round the bend. Fruit trees including Arkansas Black apple trees and pear trees and blueberry bushes are on property grounds. Small stream on property and a quick hike to Gem Creek Falls which is spectacular and refreshing. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen, relaxing den with big wrap around porch to watch the stars at night (I see a falling star often). Connect with nature again in our cozy cabin.

It’s a nice quant cabin with a nice deck. I enjoyed the mountains- weather in privacy as well . So it was just wonderful to me, L. Glenville, waterfalls..., and It’s in the mountains have the your vehicle ready. .
The cabin was absolute lovely! My boyfriend and I had a great time hiking and going to the waterfalls that are 30-40 minutes away. Our favorite thing about the cabin had to be the way the rain sounded off the roof! The internet is super fast to which was very nice considering we had little to no service on the trip. Overall it was a great experience and we hope to be back soon!
The only issue we had was finding where to turn to get to property. Better directions such as turn at two metal chairs would have helped tremendously. It was dark and internet was in and out.
No internet, no cell service, had to have a 4 wheel drive to get to it and it was very hard to find. Very small, no coffee pot, no towells and the water was as Brown! Only stayed 1 night out of 4 and owner has not responded to my requests for partial refund.
Read the directions for the key box. Write down your address and key box number because there’s no Internet until you switch to the Wi-Fi. Get the Wi-Fi code before you go. The cabin was supplied with everything we needed except hygiene items. Bring coffee and spices if you want something other than salt and pepper. Bring groceries or do your shopping before you get there as it takes about 30 minutes to get down the mountain. This place is like a museum with all of the little things to look at, pictures, knickknacks, and decorations. It’s really beautiful walking up the little trails behind the cabin. Bryson city train was amazing and is about an hour drive from there. Bring an extra blanket if you get cold easily.
The refrigerator needs to be replaced now…nasty. The stove/oven did not light the whole time we were there. Debbie was great to talk with but not able to get oven operative. The path lights never came on at night . We love the deck and grill. We will be back, hope the little things will be improved.
The cabin was perfect for our mountain get away providing plenty of privacy. It was the perfect size for 2 people and had everything we needed. We were in town for a wedding so we didn’t get to explore the property as much as we would have liked but we would certainly come back. There is no cell service so make sure you have the directions programmed before you head to the mountains.
We came up to ride some of the wonderful mountain roads and stay in a peaceful setting. We got both. The cabin was back in the woods. The road in was a little tricky for a motorcycle but we made it. The cabin was perfect. So quiet and relaxing. We both loved it.
This cabin was the perfect cozy getaway me and my wife needed Daniel was easy to work with and yhe place is beautiful. The peace tucked away in the mountains , the cabin it self with the vaulted ceiling with exposed beems and fireplace, everything about the place is just perfect.
The parking spot is a big mud puddle. All the deck furniture was nasty. The cabin is covered with spider webs. The grill was also dirty and there was no brush that I could find to clean it.Inside there were live bugs even in the bed. Couldn't get the ceiling fan to work in living room. The pots and pans were rusty and tarnished. It would have been nice to have foil to cook a pizza or to cover cookie sheet. I pulled a knife from the container that holds them and it still had lettuce (I think)on it.The coffee machine was dirty.
Due the rain, we were unable to do some of the things we had planned to do outside. But the cabin had cable television, so it allowed us to watch several good movies on NETFLIX.
Really nice cabin once u get too it for two me and my fiancé had a great time. Went to the out door play and fished it was amazing. The cabin is a little too far in the boonies tho 25 mins off the main road on this sidewinder going up hill to get to it. it was just hard to find and the road a little bit too crooked for my taste. But we had a good stay non the less.
Great experience with host and Debi. Very accommodating to our needs
Loved the cabin and decor. Very cute place. The drive to get to cabin was little scary but overall loved everything.
