Enjoyed our mountain weekend.

The good-We loved the cabin and the location. We were between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, which is the best of both worlds. I do recommend arriving during the day, because the cabin is up a windy mountain road and we got turned around a couple of times, which was a little scary at night. The road is very narrow. The beds slept great and were very comfortable, as well as the living room area. We loved the swivel chairs. The extra amenities were convenient. It was nice to have starter trash bags, toiletries and a nice supply of towels and wash cloths. The game room was a nice addition. The bad-The cabin was stuffy during our stay, as the thermostat had a cap on the settings. It could not be set below 70 degrees and it was very warm the weekend of our stay…in the 80s. This was aggravating to say the least and it was completely locked from our use upon arrival and took a couple of hours to get that issue resolved. We came in and the temperature was 75 degrees. Trying to unload and have a hot house, led to a very moody night for all. The pull out mattresses on both sofa beds need to be burned. They are not usable and our son had to sleep with us. There is mold on the downstairs shower head, so we did not use that shower. Overall, the cabin is nice. It is cute and comfy…other than the cleanliness issues with the pull out beds and the moldy shower head we enjoyed our stay!

Cozy cabin

Most of the experience here was amazing! The cabin just needs some upgrades or upkeep in some areas, but I’d definitely stay here again. Loved the amenities, the location, security, and just the look and feel of it.

Bear Encounter

We saw a bear. That was pretty cool. Neat place to stay in the mountains. Loved the fact that there was a washer & dryer. Overall we would likely stay again if we were back in the area.

Lovely cabin. Hot tub needs some jet repairs, dish washer leaked, outside of house needs cleaning, more towels, trash left under both beds, outside grill was not cleaned.

BEWARE OF VACASA!!!!

We checked in on Monday and during the night the air quit working, my wife contacted Vacasa at 9 am and we didn’t hear from them until after 4pm. They sent a tech out and the tech informed Vacasa that the air could not be fixed and on top of that the DECK WAS A DANGER OF COLLAPSING!!! They refused to move us to a cabin in Gatlinburg without us paying a lot more or we could go to New Tazwell Tennessee over an hour and a half away. We had tickets pre purchased for our children to do things but they didn’t care. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!

Disappointing

Missing many items that were advertised and paid for such as wifi, games, media center, clean dishes. Daughter was unable to access her winter college courses and no football. On the bright side we played a lot of family card games and the staff at Vacasa tried to fix the problems. However it was a holiday weekend and was not possible. I had also already washed everything before we used the dishes.

The cabin was up a twisty mountain road and kind of secluded. Perfect if that's what you are looking for. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door. Roomy and comfy with everything you need. Nice view of the woods out of the backroom 2 story windows. Kitchen is updated, bathrooms could have been cleaner. Easy check in an out, would stay with Vacasa again

Could of used a good cleaning

Cobwebs everywhere. Ceiling fan dust wow. Carpet needed a deep cleaning. Mold in the big bathtub. With all that we didn’t feel confident using the hot tub Definitely could use new mattresses and cleaning being the beds. Cute cabin just needs better cleaning and some upkeep.

Exactly What We Expected

We loved the seclusion of this property. It was located in a perfect spot to head either into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Even with the terrible traffic of the area during peak season, being located in the middle gave us the flexibility to plan ahead and not be stuck as much as other places. This was also a very pet-friendly spot for our aging dog, with main floor access, minimal steps and carpet, which isn't very common. (Note, there is no real good outdoor area for your dog to use the bathoom, but you can walk to some areas to take care of business) There are a few minor updates that need to be made and wildlife intrusions to address (we brought these up after check-out and expect them to be handled), but it comes with the territory for a house in this area, and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Nice place

Very nice cabin and decorated ‘beary’ cute. GPS took us the long way around and it seemed way back in the mountains but once we took a look at the map it wasn’t that far really. Worth the drive to be off the beaten path and out of all the hustle and bustle

The cabin needs some renovations!

The decking around the hot tub needs replacing and the outside furniture needs replacing! The kitchen was well supplied with the necessary items. Bathroom door upstairs was a bit annoying but I don’t think there’s anything that can fix that problem. The drive in and out is treacherous at night. Someone needs to make the direction clearer because the maps wants to send you through someone’s private driveway and if you go past there, there’s no other signage to tell you where to turn. Once at the cabin, parking isn’t fun! We had two large vehicles and it was an experience each time we came in and out. Location was great with exception of getting to and from the cabin. Will we choose these particular cabins again, no.

Great Cabin and Location- Needs deep cleaning

Great area close to everything but needs serious cleaning. Musty Smell, cobwebs everywhere, greasy substance on counters, hair and debris in the hot tub traps. I assume this is because the cabin hadn't been opened in a while, but it seems as if they would have sent someone to ensure cleanliness before vacationers came in.
