Snowmobile or ski to the hill right out the back yard.

Just a short 30-minute drive from Penticton, our charming cabin is perfect for two families, offering plenty of onsite parking for your convenience. Immerse yourself in nature and recharge your spirit in this serene setting!

Inside, you’ll find a treasure trove of DVD movies to chose from for movie nights on the big screen TV. For family game night you will find a large selection of various games and cards. As music flows throughout the cabin and into the back yard it sets the perfect backdrop for fun times spent by the fire.

Mix up a loaf of bread in the bread maker for a fresh bread when you come in from the slopes.

The expansive yard is a snowmobiler's dream, allowing you to hit the trails right from your doorstep. Don’t forget to bring a toboggan for the kids. When hunger strikes, fire up the BBQ or roast some meat on the bon fire in the back yard and savor mouthwatering meals in the refreshing mountain air!

Family get away

Our extended family had a great stay at Trudy's property, we slept comfortably, played the games, enjoyed the walk to the hill, and utilized the hot tub, outdoor fire pit and sledding hill. We had a great stay!

Great family getaway

Great family getaway with enough room for everyone to have a their own space. Renting the cabin was very straightforward and Trudy kept in touch with me as we got closer to our trip. We all had a great time!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Trudy’s cabin. What a great place! Close to the ski hill in a charming and well equipped cabin. Trudy is very responsive if needed and obviously takes great pride in making sure her guests have a great stay. We will be back! Thanks Trudy!

An awesome friends weekend away

We stayed at Trudy’s cabin for a weekend ski trip with sone friends. Unfortunately, the mountain conditions were pretty terrible but that didn’t stop us from having a fun weekend thanks to Trudy’s fantastic cabin. The hot tub + fire pit combo was a big hit!

A fantastic little piece of heaven that is a 5-minute walk to the slopes and still far away that you feel you are in your own chalet enjoying the great outdoors

Quiet summer getaway

We had a great sibling reunion at this rustic cabin. There was lots of space for the 7 of us and it had everything we needed. Activities were close by for every interest -hiking at Nickle Plate Park, In-town shopping, dining, etc. at Penticton. Our host was helpful easy to communicate with. All in all, a good experience.

Ski Trip

We had a great time at Trudy's cabin. It was the perfect ski chalet for our group! We loved the layout of the cabin and all of the beds were super comfortable. We LOVED the big boot room, great to have a place where everyone can get their gear off inside. No one had any complaints, we would definitely come back again. Trudy was very communicative and made the check-in/out process very easy. The property was in great shape and had lots of great features.

Perfect Home Away from Home

Trudy was so lovely and the perfect host, everything was exactly as expected and ample room for our entire family with loads of spacious zones throughout the large cabin. We had a longer stay so she made herself available to ensure we were comfortable and we had everything we needed. This is our family cabin. Our kids grew up here in the winters skiing and snowmobiling and enjoying various winter activities. Many good memories have been made. Everyone is grown up now and busy lives are not allowing us to use it as much so, we have decided to give other families the opportunity to make some memories for themselves. We hope you enjoy your stay if you choose to come visit Apex Mountain. Beautiful in the winter as well in the summer. Come and get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life and have some fun or just relax and cosy up by the fire and enjoy nature .

Why they chose this property

This is the perfect property for 2 families to rent, the 4 split level allows different spaces for kids and adults to play or be all together around the big table in the kitchen or in the living room having movie night There are also, plenty of movies to chose from for the whole family, and plenty of games in the kitchen cabinet. A vast amount of room in the backyard for kids to explore and play There are also outdoor speakers to enjoy tunes around the fire. Festive lights are strung throughout the back yard. The cabin is a 7-10 minute walk from village or a short ski on the trail behind the cabin.

What makes this property unique

This property is unique in character and has a blend of old and new. Lots of wood warming up the interior of the cabin. The back yard is a large flat lot allowing for bonfires and easy access for snowmobiles or atvs to start their trek right out the back yard. Lots of room for kids to build snow forts around the bonfire or toboggan on the hill adjacent to property. Beautiful lights are strung throughout the back yard for a festive atmosphere while out enjoying a bon fire. Kick back, have fun and enjoy time with family and friends.
