The property was rustic but had everything we needed. It took a bit to warm it up upon arrival so was grateful to have the stove we could use. Not quite as close to lake as we thought but still not very far. We were able to get to everything we did easily and host was very accommodating.
Steve is the most amazing, accommodating post we've ever dealt with. While not luxurious, this cabin has everything you need to spend time with family and comfort. If you of the lake is a special bonus!
Loved the cabin, the view, the space. Everything as advertised and the owner was super helpful when we had a couple of questions. Would definitely return again!
This home was perfect for our family of 4. Plenty of space for everyone, and easy access to the town and nearby hiking in and around RMNP. Host was excellent with communication.
This was our second stay at this cabin and it is set up with everything we need. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is enough space for our family of six without feeling crowded. The location is perfect for spending time in Rocky Mountain National Park or just visiting Grand Lake. I'm sure we will be back again!
We loved spending a week together in this beautiful house! Communication with our host was fantastic. The view was phenomenal, and the house was clean and comfortable. There was ample space to play games and cook together. The resident hummingbird was fun to watch along with the beautiful aspen trees. Rocky Mountain National Park is only about a 15 minute drive, which is what initially drew us in. The town has lots of fun shops and a great mini-golf course. We enjoyed watching sailboats from the beach. We also highly recommend renting from the nearby marina. Our pontoon ride was gorgeous.
Thank you for an incredible stay!
We wanted a place where we could get away for the weekend and this place delivered! Close to marinas for our boat rental and close to Grand Lake for shopping and ice cream! Waking up to the view of Shadow Mountain Reservoir was wonderful. The house was clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and will likely be back! Thanks so much!!
The pictures don’t do it justice! Clean, lots of space to spread out, well stocked kitchen, outdoor picnic eating space so fun looking over the lake. My sister and I with our husbands and kids stayed here two nights and it was lovely.
This home is in a beautiful and restful location. We enjoy the wildlife around the home (hummingbirds and deer) and access to RMNP was quick and easy. Very comfortable.
We had a wonderful stay. The views were beautiful, and the location was fantastic for all that we did in the area. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Great stay -- had everything we needed for our week in RMNP. Well supplied, plenty of spices and staple food ingredients, long kitchen table had space for 10+ people! Cabin was turnkey: potbelly stove with plenty of firewood, small fans in the bedrooms for white noise, sleds for the hill behind the house, open kitchen with large pots and pans for large group cooking...and even a boot dryer. Loved it, we'll be back.
The house is extremely well equipped, it has everything you need and more. The house is on the older side but it is large, functional, has plenty of bedding and makes for a very comfortable stay. It was better than the pictures! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
