Furniture was stained and dirty. Cushions worn out which meant sitting on the wooden frame. The property manager reached out to the owner re cleaning furniture without success. The bedroom furniture needed to be rearranged to allow movement. Toilet needs new wax ring. If the new owners make needed improvements it will be a wonderful condo.

Great Beach Getaway!

Wonderful condo and great location. Beautiful view of sunrise and sunset view from the balcony. Clean, great communication and stress-free getaway. Loved walking on the beach and then warming up in the sauna.

Could Have Been Great!!!!

Gen cleaning good! There was a review posted by Katie D from June 2024 with several things and they were all still bad!?!? Vents very dirty, kitchen sink rusty, sliding door very hard to lock, headboard not attached, and I am adding bathroom sink stops up! We love Tide Water and have stayed there for years! Please get these right!

Cozy, Comfortable & Convenient

Tidewater itself was great and conveniently located. Enjoyed our stay. Condo itself is fine but needs a few improvements/repairs. The doors to the washer/dryer kept coming off the track, so we just had to leave them open, which made things loud in the condo and a tight walk getting past it. Other than that, condo fit our needs and was worth the stay.

Best relaxing vacay

This condo was perfect for two adults and two children. The property was clean and had everything we needed for the stay. Pool was nice and easy walk to the beach. There is also a chair rental company if you don’t want to carry tons of stuff. My only complaint would be the elevators. They are extremely slow and would get backed up a lot.

Needs upgrade and improvements!

My mom and I stayed here for a long weekend stay- Saturday to Wednesday. It was great space for the two of us. However, there was mold and dust in bathroom and on air vents. The place needs to be upgraded and deep cleaned. The washing machine didn’t run a full clean cycle, and I reached out to Vacasa, but it took them 2 days for someone to contact me back. By then it was too late since we were leaving the next day. The kitchen doesn’t have many supplies.

Our overall stay at 604 Tidewater with Vacasa was very enjoyable. The room was very clean, the location was good, The amenities at Tidewater were very nice. We had just a few issues with the room. One of the eyes on the stove did not work, It took several drying cycles for the clothes dryer to dry your clothes and the headboard on the bed needs to be attached to the bed. I do not say this to be complaining, It's just a few items that we felt needed to be addressed. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and are planning to book the same room next year. We would definitely recommend This room and Vacasa to our friends and family.

Overall review

The walk-in shower was very nice. However, the towel rack in bathroom was broken an under the sink, the right side bifold door to the dryer fell off when opened it, and the dishwasher food trap needed cleaning badly - but the piece to unscrew it was lying in the bottom of the dishwasher. Was not able to use dishwasher due to the horrible smell.

This unit needs a lot of work. Crack in ceiling from bedroom to living room. Mold behind washer and dryer. Dryer takes forever to dry clothes. Lacks kitchen necessities. Leak in ceiling above bunk beds. AC return filthy. Sheets do not fit the bed. Toilet seat is loose.

Will not be staying again

Stayed here with my fiancé for the past week and all I can say is read the reviews and pictures can be deceiving. Check in was fine but the place was dirty. Found a chip on the floor in our bedroom. Dirty bath towel, dirty kitchen sink. The toilet paper holder was BROKEN and they set all the pieces on the toilet. The vents were dirty. The front door deadbolt barely locked. The bedroom door did not shut all the way. The window seal was dirty. And the headboard WAS NOT attached to the bed.And the ice maker was on before we got there and by the end of the week it BARELY covered the bottom of the ice tray. We will not be staying here again. There is a lot of maintenance that needs done. Maintenance that multiple people have commented about and still not fixed.

Unprofessionalism

I arrived with my 4 year old son and my nephew to the condo on Check in day. After walking into the bathroom we noticed there was no rod to hold the toilet paper. At that point when drying hands a the rack that had the towel fell off the wall where it was not repaired correctly. After all of this, last night we went to attend wedding and the door to the condo WOULD NOT OPEN. We were literally stuck inside the condo with my small child and my nephew was locked out. Maintenance employee stated that she could not help as they do not have keys so I called Vacasa. They hung up 3 times 2 times when I was on hold to speak to a supervisor. We then contacted the fire marshal who advised to obtain legal counsel. I then attempted to contact Vacasa again. Spoke to a gentleman that told me he would have a supervisor contact me and I still have not heard a single word. Their negligence to maintain the property ruined the whole purpose of our trip. I 10/10 do NOT recommend booking anything through.Vacasa and whoever leases this condo as it is dated and not taken care of it all.

Just OK

The good: location and breathtaking view of the ocean. Towels and bed linens were clean. Kitchen was adequately supplied. Washer and dryer worked well. Not so good: one of the bifold doors was off in front of the washer. The bad part is it was left leaning against the wall in the living area. Using the phone number provided, no one with property management would answer. I sat on hold until finally giving up and texting which was the other contact method offered. It took a while before I received a half hearted response. All I was trying to do was make sure the few damages we saw as soon as we walked in were already noted and wouldn’t end up blamed on my family. There was also a musty smell. Furniture is outdated. Bedroom is tight the way the bed sits. The bedroom window has a small blind and no curtain. Since it sits on the street side of the unit, the hallway lights come through the window so much to make it difficult to sleep. Lastly, the floors were dirty. It’s very difficult to deal with sand on tile floors, however I also was left with nothing to use to do any cleaning myself. There was an old vacuum that wouldn’t pick up anything, no broom or mop…in a condo on the beach.

Needs an overhaul

The room smelled so musty and EVERY cloth object was damp. Something seriously needs to be done about that. We had to purchase plug-in air fresheners just to stay. The bathroom that had been up dated was the most comfortable room inside. We did enjoy the balcony for meals daily. There also needs to be someone on the premises preferably for any issues.
