My colleagues and I stayed for a little over a month and I must say everyone was very happy. The house was very spacious and comfortable. Everyone also loved the neighborhood that felt safe and is close to the river. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely home, would definitely recommend to anyone in town
We stayed here for 45 days over the Christmas holidays. The house was decorated for the holidays - which made it feel extra homey to us. There were plenty of towels, hangers, kitchen utensils, plates, glassware etc. Although there were only 2 of us, there is loads of room for a large family to spread out. Our favorite room was the TV room where we could cozy up and watch TV, read a book or work on our computers on a chilly winter day.
The property is located near the downtown area where you have your choice of some amazing restaurants and great shopping.
Communications with the host was easy. Any issues we had were resolved very quickly.
The location of this home is great - it is walkable to the many shops and restaurants in downtown Naperville. The neighborhood feels safe and parking is easy. We did have a few issues during our stay, including a smoke alarm outside of the bedrooms that was missing initially. That said, the host was very responsive and addressed any concerns quickly. There’s lots of space here for families or groups who need room to spread out.
Yvonne was so easy to talk to, and easy to get a hold of. The house is super close to everything! Quiet neighborhood, kid toys available, and plenty of space.
Absolutely incredible. We stayed here for almost two months while in the area for work and could not have dreamed of a more lovely place live. The house itself is light, lovely, clean, and comfortable with lots of space, well stocked and beautifully decorated. The great porch, back yard with fire pit, basement sauna, and abounding homey energy make this a perfect and inspiring place for a creative retreat or recharge.
The house is located in a lovely and quiet area, a short walk from the beautiful river walk, downtown, and walking and biking trails. We fell in love with the house and with it as a home base for exploration, fell in love with Naperville.
Yvonne is a wonderful host, attentive and kind, and made sure our stay was perfect. So grateful for this special find and could not recommend it more. We hope to come back!
On a 1 to 5 scale, I would rate Yvonne and her property an 11!. Exactly as shown, it was the perfect house, in the perfect location, for a quiet weekend with old friends. Our hostess was there when I arrived and took the time to show me the details of the house. The house, including the back yard, patio, and front porch, really felt like home. Perfect for relaxing, catching up around the dining room table, playing cards, cooking some great meals and also close to restaurants and things to do. It was just perfect. A wonderful home in a very quiet neighborhood. Thank you!!!
This was my first experience in a VRBO and I have to say we couldn't have picked a more perfect place. Yvonne, the host, was a delight to work with and was attentive to all our needs. The property was exactly as stated in the on-line listing. The home was impeccably clean (and I am a harsh critic of this!) and was fully stocked with linens, toiletries, food, books, games, and even a piano. With six adults staying here, we had plenty of room to spread out and do our own thing. The in-home gym and sauna was a unique feature that we enjoyed using. And we were close enough to walk to downtown Naperville to enjoy the restaurants and shops there. Sadly, our trip was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic, but if we had been told to shelter in place this would have been the perfect retreat to spend our time. We absolutely plan to return here on our next visit to Chicago.
This was such a great experience and Yvonne's home exceeded all of our expectations! I stayed there with my family of five individual people and there were plenty of beds and rooms for all of us to have our own space. My adult children loved the sauna, my sports lovers enjoyed time in the TV room watching the game while those of us who prefered quiet time were very comfy in the family room. This is a true home where you can feel the good energy of a family being raised here. Although the home is over 100 years old, it has been restored and added on to in the most thoughtful and comfortable way. The location was incredible and about a 10-15minute walk into Naperville and the Riverwalk. The outdoor space was also thoughtful and inviting. It was one of the best VRBO experiences I have had. Thank you Yvonne and family!
