We were able to really rest from our long journey in a clean, scenic and gathering place for all our family get together. It felt like home away from home.
if we have any more jobs in beaufort we will DEFINATELY stay here again
clean , comfortable , relaxing
we had 3 men working for a month long job stay here and everyone was happy with this place
The 3 sets of French doors open up to a beautiful backyard on the marsh. We ate our breakfast there every morning to enjoy the wetlands waking up.
The owners were extremely helpful and nice. The shrine to their military family was beautiful and got my husband talking about his Dad’s time on Paris Island - something my teenagers knew nothing about. The only negative is new and more towels are needed. We enjoyed the ping pong table and would most def stay there again! It truly felt like we were dealing with family.
The property was exactly as pictured except for the clothes dryer was in the garage. One bathroom could use some updating as there was some mildew in shower/tub area and water stains on ceiling. We also had a plumbing issue that was quickly resolved. Everything else was great! Our favorite place to sit and relax was on the front porch overlooking the beautiful azalea bushes and listening to the birds. Very convenient location! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
Wonderful home…. Very clean, well equipped , great location. We really enjoyed the dock and catching blue crabs. Nice quiet neighborhood. Restaurants and shops are close by. The beach is just a short drive. This is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the “low country” at its best. A HOME, away from home.
We stayed a week in this beautiful home. The marsh views were truly breathtaking. Our favorite outing was to Hunting Island beach - so private! Our favorite memory at the home was probably with all of us gathered at the table teaching our youngest to play go fish. It was truly an unforgettable week and we so appreciate your hospitality.
The house itself is even nicer than the pictures. We particularly liked the access to the Marsh and its wildlife. Paddling around to explore it was great fun. The hosts, Kenny and Jennifer, are the primary reason for our rave review. Southern hospitality on steroids. We absolutely loved them. They are active participants in the community and introduced us to their friends and relatives. As a result, Luvmarsh was more than a beautiful place to stay. It was a personal experience into lowc-ountry culture and life.
This wonderful home on sits on the marsh of Port Royal Sound, very close to MCRD Parris Island, probably less than 2 miles as the crow flies, by car maybe 5-7 minutes. The view is spectacular and the smell of the salt air is invigorating. Inside the home the you will find it to well appointed and comfortable. There is one room dedicated to the military service, particularly to the USMC, which meant so much to me as 53yrs ago, on Oct 28, 1969, I earned my EGA (Eagle, Globe, & Anchor) as well as my title, United States Marine.
My daughter & her family, as well as my grandson's girlfriend were to watch our PFC graduate. We were so pleased with the convenience of the location & the ease we found to get around in Beaufort, it certainly enhanced the pleasure of our stay.
If I am ever again in the area, I so hope the Luvmarshview home is available again. Thank you again, & God Bless.
What a wonderful trio! It's quiet location with marsh/sound views and easy access to Beaufort, Charleston and surrounding beaches made this home ideal for a weeks vacation. The owners were helpful and the home felt comfortable...we hope to return.
The house was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and there was a food lion close by. We were very close to downtown, port royal , and Lady’s Island. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a great grill outback. The owners were very quick with communication and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
We booked at stay for myself, my husband and our oldest son (16) & my parents for a long weekend. We stayed Friday - Tuesday and it was great! The neighborhood was conveniently located and the neighbors we met were very kind and friendly. The bedrooms were good size and bathrooms were too. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. The only thing we had to purchase was an oyster shucker (its now property of the home since we couldn't bring it on the plane with us). We ate out a majority of our meals, but the night we had a big seafood dinner everything was easily found and in great condition. The kitchen and bedrooms were very clean. The bathrooms were as well, they just had some cosmetic easy fixes. Nothing to complain about. The only suggestion I would add is a linen closet with more blankets and pillows. We spent most evenings on the dock attempting to catch crabs and watching the wildlife in the marsh. We would recommend this home to anyone, we cannot wait to go back!
Good experience overall. Bathrooms need painting and cleaning but rest of house updated nicely. Beautiful view out back! Linens could be upgraded. Well stocked house. Would return.
The property was wonderful! Spacious, comfortable, good location. The owners were responsive and accommodating. This place was very comfortable for our family with 2 small children. It was private and beautiful! Recommend for those who like to be outside and aren't interested in big built up places. The area was very laid back. Highly recommend.
This home was perfect for what we needed: a relaxing spot with a view and enough room to have family/friends over for dinners. We spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts were extremely helpful when we had a small issue. Highly recommend!
We were visiting for a family wedding. The house was very clean, well stocked on everything we needed and comfortable beds. We absolutely loved the views, and the dock. We spent as much time as we could outside enjoying the nature. Owners were so nice and kind, and friendly. Hope to come back soon.
We stayed for the July 4th holiday week. The house was clean and beautiful! We loved how open it was and the french doors at the back. Our favorite was the dock! We watched fireworks from the dock and hung out on the dock in the evenings. The owners were extremely nice and super easy to get in touch with. The house had everything you would need like linens, towels, spices, pots, pans, etc. We will definitely be coming back to stay again! Highly recommend!!
We had a lovely but too short stay at Luvmarshview. The owners were very easy to communicate with and everything at the property was sparkling clean and new. It had just been renovated and they did a wonderful job. The house is spacious, the kitchen is gorgeous and the outdoor patio, firepit and dock invite you to spend lots of time outdoors. Though it rained our entire trip we will go back and enjoy those outdoor spaces in the future. This was a great experience and we look forward to returning.
