We appreciated the home's proximity to downtown and Pioneer Park (fresh air to walk off the wine tastings!) This home has some details we found very helpful. The dual living space arrangement was great for friends who have different sleep/wake times. We appreciated the easy to use/adjust thermostat and gas fireplace; radiant floor heat in the main bathroom (delightful); plenty of toilet paper (thoughtful); digital code locks (SO much better than keys); off-street parking; extra blankets; thoughtful welcome gift of local muffins; USB charging ports on the bedside tables; a HUGE dining room table, perfect for a puzzle and eating all at the same time; and very importantly, a "homey" decor without cluttering every surface! The only suggestion we'd make is adding noise machines or fans. If there were any we didn't see them. All in all, this is a terrific house and the managers were stellar in their communications!
This was an excellent location for our
multi-generational group. Lots of room to visit, kitchen and dining areas were above average for size and and furnishings. Overall, house was comfortable and very much as described in listing. It was in a quiet neighborhood, only one-half a block from a wonderful public park. Only negative was that the bathrooms were quite small, but that wouldn't prevent us from booking this house again.
I had friends stay in this property while we stayed at another house. They had great things to say, and the check-in and out process were easy. The only thing that they were critical of where the small bathroom areas it didn’t hurt to stay as the house was amazing.
This was our second time staying in this rental, and we were impressed with the updates and renovations since our first visit. We thought it was wonderful before, but it’s even better now.The house is pristine, beautiful and comfortable. We were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and yummy treats. The location is wonderful. It’s on a quiet street just down from Pioneer Park, and a 5-minute drive to downtown. Highly recommend this house.
We loved our stay at this property. It was immaculately cleaned and well stocked. It's one of the top 5 places we've rented ever. We'll definitely plan on going back again!
The house was really nice and spacious for our group of 8. It was about a 20min walk downtown, which was perfect. Hosts left us sweet gifts and the outside was lovely.
We stayed comfortably in this house with all the things you could need. There was fun on-theme decor, a free bottle of wine, and a clean lovely home for us to celebrate my closest friend. I would recommend this property to anyone!
This house was very nice. We had 4 couples and everyone had plenty of room. It is very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Great location for walks and close to downtown!
What an amazing place, it has everything (even a salad spinner!) and was absolutely perfect for our group of 12, I really can't say enough! The craftsman-style home is in perfect condition and the kitchen/ bathrooms, along with other areas, have been remodeled making this place so comfortable and fun. The big porch along with the swing and rocking chairs was a great gathering place in the evenings and the back patio with 2 tables with umbrellas was perfect for our morning coffee. The neighborhood is charming which made strolling on our morning walks so enjoyable and relaxing. I highly recommend the Craftsman on Whitman, you definitely won't be disappointed.
We returned to Walla Walla for a celebration of life weekend. Most of us were born and raised in WW and were returning. The Craftsman on Whitman was perfect for us.
The house is great. The location even better. It's especially good for large groups. The only complaint I have is that in covid times it would be nice if the owners would allow a reschedule if covid interrupts a trip. Other than that I would say it was a great time. And if you're going to book this house be sure to buy the insurance because there are no exceptions.
We absolutely loved the property. Everything was clean and they gave us a bottle of rose and dozen amazing pumpkin muffins to die for. We'd certainly stay again.
We had a wonderful stay here for our bachelorette trip to Walla Walla wine country! We were greeted upon arrival with freshly baked blueberry muffins, extensive information about the area and a napping kitty on the back patio. The neighborhood is very active and friendly. We started each morning with coffee in the rocking chairs and swing on the porch and waved to all of the people, dogs, and children on tricycles that went by. It is an old house, so there are some quirks like tiny, oddly shaped bathrooms, especially in the upstairs apartment. But, appliances, linens and bedding are all new and everything was clean and well maintained. We're already planning our trip back!
We loved this house. The space was perfect for our extended family. We had 6 adults and 4 kids. The upstairs apartment was an easy way to get some quiet time as needed but the downstairs is where we spent most of our time. Beds were all pretty comfortable, everything worked and it was clean. The kitchen was really well stocked and it was in a great location. Hope to be back!!
