Wildlife Country Rustic Retreat



Quiet country setting with everything, Wi-Fi, washer, dryer, full kitchen, air conditioning, heat, microwave, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, fire pit, fire wood, propane grill, 2 televisions, one King size bed in master bedroom and 2 queen size bunks for the rest of your group. Covered entry porch front and concrete patio area in back for wildlife viewing or barbecuing.

Great area for hunting, fishing, ATVing, cycling, boating, golfing or snowmobiling. Plenty of parking for trailers and such.

Located on a 2 lane blacktop country road.



This was a storage area in our pole barn that was converted into a office (960sqft.) and now converted into a bunk/guest house. It is on the same property that we live on and shares a common driveway.

It is NOT on a lake, it is on a small farm.

Close to Serendipity Farns

Stayed here with our dogs for our daughters wedding at Serendipity Farms-within 15 minutes of the venue and worked perfectly

Cozy barn cabin

We had a great relaxing night stay here. Owners are very accommodating and very quick to respond to questions. The place is beautiful and watching the deer out back at night was an added bonus. Definitely plan on booking this place again for a longer stay.

Perfection!

Our entire trip, from start to finish was pure perfection. Mostly because Kris, our host, was incredibly thoughtful. She decorated our rental with Birthday decorations for our soon to be 7 year old and her little sister, shared kid friendly recommendations and even offered for us to meet her daughter’s chickies! The home was spotless, had everything needed to cook, and when things like dry wood and toilet paper were needed, she promptly responded and the items were at our door in less than 10 minutes. We truly hit the jackpot with finding this property. On our drive back to Chicago, our three year old started crying when she realized we weren’t going back to “our new home”. We are already planning to go back in the summer. Thank you for helping us create core memories for our family! Lots of love! The Bokums

Guys Golf Getaway

Perfect spot for 4 old friends to meet for weekend of golf, football and grilling. Very clean and updated space. Beautiful views out back. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Rustic retreat

The rental process was a breeze. From the moment we checked “in” till we checked “out” was great. Upon opening the door we were “wowed.!” Communication with property owners were great. We will want to book again the next time we return to the area.

Blanchard Visit

Kristine was very helpful with everything requested. We met Dave when we arrived and what a nice guy. My brother and I had a nice conversation with him about their farm and local area. Very clean, had everything you would need. Would definately use again if we are visiting in the area.

Home Away from Home

This property was ideal for myself, my 2 dogs and additional family- daughter and her boyfriend. We were in the area for a family wedding and had the most comfortable and peaceful stay. The only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer and truly enjoy the area. The host really thought of anything that you would need. Hope to return in the future.

Birthday party

I take care of my 94 year old mother. We go to her house in Florida for the winter and at my house in Drummond Island for the summer. The family is originally from Michigan. The grandkids try to come up north to see us. A few didn't make it this year. My daughter had a planned a birthday party at Anderson farm petting zoo. So I decided to rent a place close to that so family that was coming could come play awhile . It was fantastic. The owners offered us to pitch tents if more sleeping space was needed! Board games were provided. Bonfire space and wood was supplied. All the things for a family together.

Amazing 🤩

Kris and Dave are awesome hosts! Very friendly and kind. They have the most amazing property!! We saw herds of deer EVERY night and morning. Went for long walks along the corn fields, even got to see a plane fertilizing the crops!!! Too cool. The inside of guest house has literally everything you need and then some…amenities were 5 stars outdoor. Our favorite place we’ve stayed this far and we definitely will be back this fall!!!!

Great Place to unwind

This place was exactly what I was hoping for. It was quiet, well stocked and a great space inside and out. A great space to disconnect from the world (or you can stay connected if you want vía wifi) and enjoy some solitude. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!
